History

Established in 2000.

…Wisdom Communication grew out of a weekly support group that focused on the learning and practice of Nonviolent Communication skills, as described in the book by Dr. Marshall Rosenberg. Individual participants in the groups began to hire the facilitator to do private consultations, mediations, interpersonal counseling and tutoring/​training.

Steve P.

Business Owner

Steve Pollack has a B.A. in Communication, University of Miami, 1977, and is a communication consultant and mediator who has specialized in Nonviolent Communication since 2000. After a 10-​year PR/​advertising career and 20 years teaching yoga and meditation, he searched for a way to translate spiritual consciousness into everyday interpersonal communication. Nonviolent Communication or NVC, as it is called, provided a powerful framework for addressing real-​life communication challenges and conflicts in a nonjudgmental, compassionate way. Steve helps individual clients and groups to nurture the transformational growth of their own personal relationship style. He lives in North Miami and works as a communication coach, mediator, group facilitator, mentor and counselor.
