The art and installations of the White Porch Gallery provide a window into a contemporary world, captured through the works of artist from countries around the globe such as Germany, Australia, China, Singapore, Canada and the United States. The concept is different than that of traditional galleries in that the goal is to make art accessible to patrons in a comfortable, relaxed, and living environment where art lovers can take in the art while on vacation, dinning, enjoying a drink, or listening to live music. To achieve this, the White Porch Gallery provides installations to and partners with boutique hotels, hip restaurants, and lounges thus integrating the art, dinning, vacation, and overall life experiences. By doing this, it affords the patrons more time with the art — enabling them to take it in, enjoy it, and become connected to a series of or a particular piece … or to simply enjoy the art over drinks with friends.
History
Established in 2013.
It was a personal challenge to create an environment that is more than just a stylish boutique hotel or restaurants simply with art. I wanted to create a contemporary meeting place that had a buzz about it and where people would want to go as a destination for either their vacation, their evening, or special event.
