VH Pharmacy has been an independently owned family business for over 40 years. Today it is run by Pharmacist Eddy Blanco and his brother Danny Blanco, both grandchildren of founder Virgillio Hernandez. VH Pharmacy is constantly expanding to include many patient care services such as free delivery of medications, and availability of hard to find medications for HIV/​AIDS, Pain Managements, Alzheiner’s, Depression, Compounding, Diabetes, Cancer, Rheumaoid Arthritis, And Weight Management. Our modernized pharmacy is capable of handling your everyday healthcare needs while still maintaining the intimacy of a neighborhood pharmacy.

Dr. Eddy Blanco was born and raised in Miami, Fl. He is a graduate of Christopher Columbus High School where he plays an active role as an

Alumni. Dr. Blanco received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2002 from Nova South Eastern University College of Pharmacy where he graduated with Honors. Since then he has taken the role As the Pharmacist in charge and owner of VH Pharmacy which was founded by his grandfather Virgilio Hernandez in 1971. As you can say, Pharmacy is in his blood. He is committed to operating as a state of the art pharmacy yet maintaining the service and intamacy of a neighborhood drug store. It sounds too good to be true, but VH actually delivers our prescriptions straight to our front door and it doesn’t cost us a penny more than if we went to our local drugstore. On several occasions, my wife and I have been at a doctor’s office and received a prescription, at which point we took a picture of it with our smartphone and emailed it to VH. The medicine shows up a few hours later at our home. The VH Pharmacy staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I would recommend them to anyone.

What a great, professional neighborhood pharmacy! This place is all about attention to detail. The pharmacist called my doctor just to double check his handwriting (you know doctor’s and their handwriting…), to make sure the prescription was accurate and they delivered it to my office!
Forget the big chains, have your doctor fax them your prescription and when you get home (or to work) you’ll have your meds waiting for you… No more long lines and long waiting at Walgreens

This place is incredible. Fast, friendly service and everyone is always in a good mood. I had to use the delivery service (FREE!!) when I had the flu. What a relief to not have to go out to the pharmacy with my 9 month old when we both had fevers. VH is awesome!

Ok, not only are they incredibly helpful, but cordial and genuinely caring about you and your health. My experince with VH was one pretty weird, i was stung by a jelly fish, the pain and itchyness was horrible, even hard to wear clothing. i called VH and had the incredible pleasure of speaking wiht the owner and boy he’s advice was one of the greatest «Do not swim with Jelly fish anymore» but he also reccomended i use a specific lotion and went above and beyond to call me the following day and ask how i was feeling. I used to stand in line trying to help the zombie pharmacist find my prescription. They could never find it because they never filled it. They used every excuse for not doing anything. Problem was, it was my medicine we were dealing with!
Now my prescriptions show up like magic. It’s truly the only way to go. The pharmacist takes an interest in my healthcare and knows the drugs he’s giving me. I get them my script and they do the rest. No more lines, no more zombies, no more waiting and no more calling my doctor’s office to find out why the zombies failed once again.
