Excellent garden omelet. Most friendly staff. Will definitely return on next trip to Miami!

Love coming here for breakfast. The omelets are made with REAL eggs and fresh ingredients. Always light and fluffy. Even the bread used for the toast is delicious. Staff is very friendly and engaging. Our favorite place for a real breakfast in downtown Miami.

After checking the music festival I stumbled upon this resteraunt it was open past its usual time. I was greeted by the owner who was polite and told us I won’t regret this decision. The waitress greeted me and answered the questions I had very kindly. I had a bbq bacon burger medium rare with fries. The burgers was really cooked well with fall off the bun meat! The bbq sauce that accompanied burger tasted like A1 sauce or at least similar and it was great. Didn’t leave a single fry. I was happy with the food and service. It’s a great place to grab lunch with friends!

Union is always my first pick when I’m in downtown. Their food is delicious and the staff is very courteous. I always go for lunch special, the half a sandwich with two sides. Their sweet potato fries are perfection, not greasy and crispy. Their salads, especially their house salad goes well with their salmon. They know how to blacken the salmon without overcooking in. Last but not least their brewed tea is a good pairing with anything you get. Defiantly worth a try if you haven’t already and are nearby.

Every time I have gone here(always with a group, never on my own volition), and irrespective as to what I order, the gastronomic result is repeatedly the same: bland, unsavory, rather tasteless food. Given the prices(about $ 11 for a sandwich) lunch here comes out to about $ 15. For $ 5 more go to one of the nearby Italian joints, or for $ 5 less grab a sandwich or gyro elsewhere. Either way you are likely to be more satisfied, as there is little excuse for going here given the relative multitude of superior options in the area.

A. You’re not in Brickell. B. You’ve relocated(and you’re still not in Brickell). and C. Your food is terrible.

Good real meat hamburgers. Very busy during lunch hour. Business district. Fast and friendly service. Too bad I only rate on the food cause it would get 4 stars for the service :)

The only thing I can think of when ever I go into this restaurant is «what the F happened?» For years they used to occupy such a large corner of the first floor of one of downtown Miami’s toniest office bldg’s — 200 So. Biscayne — I mean we’re a real showcase of a tower. But of course who ever runs this joint should be filed under«shitty cheapskate» since we have hardly ANY tenants that are food and beverage related and Union has skeedaddled across the street and around the corner to an almost literal(mind you, smart and clean) «hole in the wall.» So it’s an effort to cross 2 streets to go get what is almost always a great cup of Cuban coffee and pan con tostado done on la plancha with just the right amount of mouth watering(and I imagine artery clogging) butta… Paula Deen eat your heart out — this is one wet yellow slab of crispy carbohydrate goodness! I just wish they were back in their old spot. From what I can tell their lunch menu items continue to be consistently good but I’d have to say not great. We have a lot of lunch spots to go to downtown and some of them start out good; like Union. But all too soon they seem to compete for the same spot in #1 for mediocrity… and Union might very well be in that race too I’m sorry to say.

Terrible service by the woman at the cashier but very nice guy at the counter with her. Chicken and cheese quesadillas served on a bright pink called«sun-dried tomatoes» wrap while I asked for wheat. I had take out so I didn’t notice before arriving back at work. Nothing special with the quesadillas, the shell ruined it. Not sure I’ll go back.

If you frequent downtown, then you know that Union has moved to another location. They are now located where Quizno’s used to be. The location does not fit this establishment. They must be going through a tough time because this move has affected their food quality tremendously. I went on two separate occasions and both times the food was terrible. The waitresses are still attentive as always but their kitchen staff is killing them. I won’t be going back

Union Café is one of those places you’d never know existed unless you hung out around the east side of Downtown during business hours. I’ve stopped in with coworkers a couple times since I started my new gig, and while it’s nothing extraordinary, Union Café fits the bill for a speedy and filling workday lunch. The menu reminds me of a diner or chain-type restaurant, as it has everything from salads to burgers to pasta to sandwiches to entrees, as well as a host of specials every day. I’ve opted for the entrees and specials thus far(ahi tuna with veggies, teriyaki chicken with mashed potatoes & veggies), and have been happy with my choices. The food’s not out-of-this-world, but it’s tasty and filling, and the prices are very fair — sandwiches under $ 10, entrees in the $ 11 – 14 range(depending on your choice of protein). Service is speedy, and the location is convenient. Keep it in mind if you’re looking for a quick sit-down lunch in Downtown.

Union is a staple for businessmen and lawyers working downtown. It’s quick, easy and pretty reasonable. The food is fresh and pretty consistently good. I have found the best thing to get there are their soups. They are made fresh every day and thus change every day. The Chili there is delicious… really delicious. Make sure to get it with the cheese and onions on top. The shrimp and clam chowder is also really delicious. The soup, salad and sandwich is a great deal for lunch. If I remember correctly, it’s $ 7.99 and includes… you guessed it, a soup, a salad, and a sandwich of your choice. It’s a decent place to stop for lunch if you’re in the area. If it were me, I would choose to try and little downtown hole-in-the-wall, but if you’re trying to keep it kind of professional, this is your place.

Their food is delicious and their service is great. The staff are very nice, friendly and fast! The only con really is that they are a bit pricey. For a side of fries, a soda, quesadilla, and slice of cheesecake came out to be over $ 20. Other than still a great place to eat. My coworkers and I have lunch here.

I’ve been coming here for years and only just noticed that the menu has sliders! The three sliders on my plate surrounded by crispy fries was so cute I wanted to take a picture. My coworker refused to let me borrow his iPhone so I could. We ordered the same thing. I loved mine. Not only were they cute, but the miniature size was just the perfect balance of patty to bun. It took only two mini sandwiches to satiate my burger fix. My coworker ordered his well-done. He didn’t enjoy his sliders. Perhaps I was blinded by the cuteness. He also found twine in his bun. The server explained that twine is used to wrap the bundles together. Um, ok so how did the twine get BAKED inside? Oh well, the server apologized and offered him dessert or coffee. I thought I would point out the good and the bad. If I need a mini-burger fix, I would still order them again. The menu has so many other things that I like and they were not that good that I wouldn’t stray…
