I started working for a Toyota dealership from 2000 until 2005 and quickly moved up to the position of team leader during that time. In the end of 2005 i decided to broaden my knowledge of working on cars and started working at a Carmax Superstore reconditioning cars for resale and after 3 months i became a lead tech diagnosing problem cars, assisting other technicians and dispatching work. in 2010 i went back to a Toyota dealership and achieved my Master Toyota Technician status. I am also a Master Ase Technician. After seeing the substantial cost to make repairs at a dealership i decided to bring the same quality but at a lesser cost to a customer. Satisfying customers is my number one goal, let me prove this to you!

From the phone calls to in person, Josh was very professional and helpful. My high mileage 2010 Toyota Camry runs great and a previous workmanship was done in Georgia; I was advised to get the car back to Georgia to be replaced since it was under warranty rather than spending the additional parts and labor for the same item. This shop is professional and ethical which sets the benchmark for quality excellence and workmanship. I requested an oil change and a fuel injector cleaning service which they did and the car runs awesome. They have a very comfortable sofa and they offer low prices for the services provided nowhere near the dealership. Honestly, I haven’t been to any dealerships here so I wouldn’t know how they are except from what I hear from friends who have been. My 2010 Toyota Camry SE V6 has 255,000 miles on it and runs like new due to upkeep and maintenance. Then I brought my friend’s 1999 Lexus GS300 and they did some work to it by replacing the oil pan and did an oil change. They were prompt on their word and workmanship is always great! As long as I live here in Miami, I will always bring my car here as they provide quality workmanship at a fraction of the dealer. Great job Toyoworks and thank you for the license plate frame :)

After 160,000 miles the hybrid batteries for my 2005 Prius needed to be replaced– a few days before Christmas. Other than the 5,000 mile oil and filter [cabin and oil] changes, and minor body repair, the car has not had any servicing. Josh gave me a fair and relatively in-​expensive price that included installation. A great deal and the batteries came with a 3 year warranty-I’m anticipating 5 to 6 more years– by that time the car will be 16 yrs. old. Sounds good! I also added these services: transmission service and fluid change, tune-​up, and an induction service that cleaned the throttle body and injectors. The car runs great-​just like te firs day I bought it and I did not anticipate that level of improvement-​the car «feels» good.
Josh was professional, pleasant and kept the car clean while working on it. The work took a few hours and though Josh was the only one at the garage that day handling calls and walk-​ins, he was always focused on minimizing interruptions to allow me to have my car as soon as possible. I live far away from the shop and had to wait on the car while the work was completed-​before New Years. All the other reviews on Unilocal and elsewhere did not stand up to the reviews about Toyoworks and I’m happy to be added to the list of very satisfied customers.

I spent more days in frustration calling the local Toyota dealer for information about my dead 2004 Prius (4 days) than the entire time it took for Josh to come tow the beast from the dealer’s lot, inspect it, install a refurbished drive battery (3 yr guarantee), and have it ready for me to pick up (½ day)! And the price was right. Josh was knowledgeable and frank as he discussed the pro’s/cons of installing a new vs refurbished battery or replacing individual battery cells. He gave me an honest bottom line cost and didn’t install a new computer (wasn’t needed), in contrast to the dealer who quoted only a new battery and insisted that the computer must also be replaced. Josh answered the phone and promptly returned calls. I’m 200% sold on Toyoworks from now on.

After taking my high mileage Tacoma to two other «service providers» I had my truck towed to Toyoworks. Josh was extremely friendly, and professional.
Within five minutes he identified the trouble and lay out the timeframes and costs associated with the repair.
It’s difficult to find a mechanic you can trust in Miami. I live nowhere near Toyoworks, but flat out, they are now my «go to». My truck is running great after their services, and I expect a long term professional relationship with their team.

Currently sitting here on a very comfy couch, next to a picturesque fish tank, while the entertaining courtroom television plays in the background. There’s AC, the staff seems friendly and knowledgable and offered me a free tire rotation if I write a Unilocal review. Thus far great job. The water cooler is a nice touch.

Toyoworks always does great work for me. I bring my prius whenever I get the maintenance icon light on and also when I need tune up for AC Cooling and Josh always takes are of it at a good price. I Highly recommend Toyoworks. They are experts with Toyota brand cars.

They offered the lowest price for timing belt replacement package. Had my timing belt, water pump and oil seal changed, also had my valve seals done as there were already signs of leaks. Checked the brakes free of charge. Will definitely come back. Honest and good service. A bit far from me but definitely worth the trip. Kudos.

After taking my car to the dealership for 7 years and finally getting fed up with the inconsistent service and the consistent high prices, I decided to give Toyoworks a try. I wanted a shop that knew Prius cars. I have taken my 2007 Prius twice when my dash lights came on for different issues. Both times Toyoworks ran the diagnostics assessed that there was no problem, reset the indicators and sent me on my way within 30 mins. No charge. I am impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. Their entire staff is great! These guys are the real deal!

Reliable, honest and easy to work with. Not things that usually go together when you’re trying to find a mechanic. Josh and Doug run an excellent shop where I’ve brought both my Toyota Prius and Honda Civic Hybrid for repairs and maintenance. They’re always less than the dealer and so much better to work with. Ever since I’ve owned a car I’ve only gone to service my car with my dad because of the worry to be overcharged. My dad introduced me to this place a few years ago and I no longer feel the need to worry about being lied to about what my car really needs. Called to make appointment for scheduled maintenance. Of course I’ve been going to dealer but didn’t want to pay their prices anymore. Josh was very nice & honest on the phone since I felt something off in acceleration in my Prius. Calmed me down by telling me I probably just needed routine maintenance but that at the miles I had on the car, there probably isn’t a problem. Amazing service, small place, but they have WIFI so my day didn’t slow down.

They Did a great service, one of the best prices in Miami with the best Quality service and nicest auto service place ive been to for awhile. They told me straight up what was wrong with the car which wasn’t much and didn’t charge me much for the tune up after they diagnosed the car. Which was great!!! Other auto service would lie about the problems with your car and charge you an arm and a leg but they didn’t. Thank you again for the service, I’ll come back next time once I’m around Miami!!!

It’s hard to find honest auto-​repair shops. Having said that, this place is genuinely honest and prompt with their service. Came in here with a prius, and they knew exactly what they were doing. And they will tell you honestly if you need a certain service or not, where other places will try to get you to do much as possible so they can make money.
