I ordered her a a cake for my daughter’s birthday, and I was super moist and delicious, I wasn’t sure when I ordered but at the end I was glad I did … I also tried a chocolate cake and I was really good too… I recomend this place… great cakes…

There is nothing worse that you order a cake and when it is delivered it is nothing like what u ordered! Todo Dulce charged me over $ 200 for a cake of 25 people that was not fondant but according to them labor extensive! My chosen design Was indeed labor extensive but what they delivered was a cake with all wrong colors it was all pastel colors when it was supposed to be darker colors. Did not match colors of shower at all and they then insulted me by adding some white fondant flowers on top that looked like they took of one of the sample white wedding cake they have in store! This is not the first time they mess up! One time they even lost our order! Honestly, was giving Todo Dulce a chance since they are on the Biltmore approved list and was going to hire them for my daughters wedding cake. I am really surprised that the Biltmore would have a vendor like this on their list. But that’s a separate issue! Lastly, I’ve tasted all there cakes. I have bought a slice of every type, cake has been moist and frosting sweet and delicious! But I tasted my daughters shower cake the green buttercream frosting was awful and had an after taste and smell! Had over 100 guest in the Bridal Shower! Everything was perfect except cake did not even look close to the Shabby Chic theme!!! If u want a reliable and consistent good cake, do not venture to Todo Dulce! Just pick up a slice eat it and just know that for a big event they will disappoint!

I am disappointed in the wedding cake Todo Dulce made for me. I gave them the idea of what I wanted, had a photo of the exact design I wanted, and they even sketched it out for me. They never told me it was going to be a problem. On my wedding day, what I got was something that was not even close to what I wanted. In the months that I had been working with them no one had ever notified me to say that the design I wanted couldn’t be replicated or that they had to change it.

I was not impressed by their customer service or lack there of. I had left numerous voicemails and sent three emails without any response. I decided to stop in during business hours — I had heard such good things I decided to give them a shot regardless. I mentioned the messages I had left and no explanation or apology was given.
The cake was good but not great. Glad it wasn’t more expensive. I prefer Publix or Gilbert’s buttercream frosting to theirs. The birthday girl loved it so they get three stars, otherwise I would’ve been two.

My husband and I were recently married (September 20, 2014) at the Coral Gables Country Club. The reservation/​booking of the venue package included several cake vendors to choose from.
We embarked on the cake tasting appointments journey to the many popular Miami shops. Needless to say, the service and quality at Todo Dulces was LIKE NO OTHER! While other shops boasted about trendy flour-​less cakes and the local celebrities they were delivering to, Giselle at Todo Dulces gave us an amazing presentation on our options for the dessert of our special day.
Giselle patiently worked with us to create the perfect sketch of our dream cake! She truly educated us about all the different types ribbons that could be added (colors, textures…), the types of ruffles that could be created with buttercream or fondant, sizes, shapes, colors and so on. Then came the tasting… wow! There was not a single flavor that we tried that we did not like — what a difficult decision!!! I am not a fan of key lime pie, I’ve never been. I tried it… guess what? We used it as one of the layers for our cake, along with marble and almond!
I cannot wait to order another cake from Todo Dulces — they are definitely my one and only go-​to for cakes and desserts!

Todo Dulces stood out to us when we were first looking for a wedding cake vendor because they have great reviews and their cakes are really unique and exciting looking — no plain white cake for us, thank you! Dealing with them was a bit of a struggle (we dealt primarily with Gisselle, who is sweet but takes FOREVER to respond to emails and most times I just had to call or else I’d never hear back from her), but it was worth it for the cake! (We don’t live in Miami, so we couldn’t just go in, we did all the correspondence by email from afar.)
After spending hours and hours looking at cake pictures online, I found one I liked and asked if Todo Dulces could recreate it, but with a few tweaks. They said yes, we ironed out the changes at the cake tasting, and… they didn’t make any of them! The cake we got at the wedding was the exact same as in the picture, which was spectacular, but frustrating that they didn’t do what we’d agreed on.
Anyway, our cake ended up being 4 tiers. 2 of the tiers were chocolate ganache cake, 1 was coconut cake, and 1 was almond cake — and they were all amazing. Everyone was talking about how amazing the cake was and wishing they could’ve had more! We can’t wait for our 1 year anniversary so we can eat the top tier, which we saved.
Overall: definitely use them for your wedding cake, but be prepared for truly horrible communication and frustration with that. The end result will be worth it, though!

I needed a birthday cake and I needed it fast. I’d called around to a number of recommended spots — French bakeries, artisan ice cream spots — and my quick-​turnaround requirement left me empty handed with every phone call. Most place needed a day’s notice.
Not wanting to go the route of a Publix cake, I tried my luck by stopping by Todo Dulces. I read the reviews and thought just maaaaaybe they could bring my search to an end. This tiny bakery (just off Bird Road) specializes in fancy cakes. The kind of creations you’d see on Cake Boss — full on scenes like Noah’s Arc and other stories being played out with edible artistry.
While the owner conducted a consultation with a lady planning some special occasion, I noticed a plain white (but surely toothsome) cake behind the glass. I asked the girl working if it was available instantly and she assured me it was and they’d even give it a little color in the back. Vanilla with brandy, chocolate with brandy or marble was the dilemma — 8 minutes later my vanilla with brandy cake (how could you possibly go wrong with that) was beautiful and ready to go. Later that night, cake was consumed and people were happy again.

I’m had a cake made for my fathers birthday. The cake turned out beautiful, it was exactly what I was looking for and everyone thought it was amazing. However, the cake itself was half cardboard. It was a two tier cake, the center circle of each was a cardboard circle. Meaning the cake was only half of what it looked like. Not a huge problem, but I should have been told about this for the price paid. It was a little embarrassing to cut a cake with everyone watching and the middle be cardboard, especially when you have a former cake chef at the party tell you that is wrong and to get a refund.

Words can’t express how horribly disappointed I am with this place. I would give them 0 stars if possible. I had my first and last experience with them for sure. In the history of my existence have I ever received such bad customer service. I’m still in shock at how little they cared to fix a problem. Instead of saying sorry and fixing the problem they pointed fingers and played victim as to why the cake looked a certain way. It was obvious they misunderstood what I wanted, but blaming me and having a crappy attitude did not help. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. If you want someone willing to fix a problem with your cake and work with you from the start please avoid yourself a headache and search for some place else. You shouldn’t have to endure 30 minutes of people telling you they weren’t wrong, but rather you were wrong, for them to hesitantly try and fix the cake. There’s nothing worse than bad customer service. Such a disappointment.

A wonderful all around experience. Alejandra was a delight to work with and understood what I was looking for. I was able to coordinate the design of the cake from my home in San Diego. When my girlfriend and I arrived in Miami to celebrate her birthday the beautiful cake was waiting. It is really is special when you can trust someone to come through on such a special occasion. I look forward to the next opportunity to do business with Alejandra and Todo Dulce. Thank you for making the day special.

Not only did i love their cake but i also loved the service and attention and guess what? They made it to our wedding and it was even more delicious! The presentation of our wedding cake was perfect. They also have other treats to take home which aren’t just weding cakes. I would totally make the trip just to have another tasting.hehehehe.
If you are planning a special event I would definitely recommend them. Their attention to detail and service is top notch. From borthdays to weddings i know i will get my next cake from them.

I ordered a cake from Todo Dulces for my baby shower. Picking a boutique cake designer was no easy task since I expect PERFECTION on every level and I am very particular about special occasion cakes.
I decided to take my mom and mom-​in-​law for a cake tasting prior to deciding and I’m glad I did. We showed up and saw first-​hand the gorgeous creations they have done, both on display at their store and through tons of photos. Then we tasted around eight different flavor, all great in my opinion. We settled for the almond and othe tiers in vanilla.
Alejandra, one of the owners, designed my cake using my baby shower invitation, and on paper, it seemed pretty accurate.
Fast-​forward to the baby shower, and I walked in to the see the most beautiful cake — just for me! Three tiered, giraffe-​print designed, and a cut out cookie of a baby girl dress as the topper. I am going to upload the photo on this review page as a reference. Its pink and green.
The cake was the star of the shower to say the least, and thanks to our careful taste test, both the almond and vanilla tiers we selected were delicious and very moist. I still have people asking me where I got the cake, and I am so happy to recommend Todo Dulces through and through.

Excellent tasting and beautiful cakes. True artists. They have done every cake and cookies for my special occasions. Love the customer service. I live all the way in Miami Lakes and dont mind the drive to Bird Road to pick up my cakes for small occasions. They do have delivery as well. Sweets at its best.

when i was deciding what cake i wanted for my wedding i knew i didnt want the traditional «cuban rum cake» i shopped around a few places and ended up at todo dulce which i have driven by almost everyday of my life.
alejandra was great, super attentive and really took the time to go over everything with me. we discussed flavors and we got to try 4 different cakes, all delicious.
i decided to go with 3 different cakes for my wedding– key lime, almond, and coconut. all 3 would also have different designs while still being consistent and complimenting each other. we also rented the cake stands from them at an additional cost.
they did a great job! everyone said how moist and tasty the cakes were without being overly sweet and mushy.
we boxed up our top tier and cant wait to have the key lime cake again on our 1 year anniversary!

I just had Todo Dulce do my daughter’s baptism cake and as usual, it was incredible. They made the cake look EXACTLY like my daughter’s 125 year old baptismal gown (which is all hand made and hand embroidered). The cake looked amazing and tasted fantastic– rum cake with a dulce de leche filling. I have had Todo Dulce do all the cakes for the milestones in my life. my wedding, my first anniversary, my baby shower and now my baby’s baptism. I look forward to ringing in new milestones with them! I couldnt recommend them more!

What truly amazed me is that the 2 cakes that I ordered looked much more beautiful and bigger than in pictures… and the taste? Unbelievable!

Even before the cupcake craze, these people had the best red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting in the entire city. The ladies who run Todo Dulce are also the sweetest (pardon the pun)!
One of my best friends had them do her wedding cake and it was not only stunning but delicious. I sat in on their consultation and was impressed by their patience, creativity, and willingness to come up with an original design (unlike other nearby wedding cake bakeries).
We actually also decided to purchase cupcakes for the bridal shower as favors and they were so great people were quite literally fighting over them. They never made it out of the party. They were consumed before the end of the event.
This place deserves at least one taste.

This place is a hidden gem. The cake is so moist and delicious, they have so many flavor options, but my favorite is the marble with buttercream. However there is yellow cake, vanilla, red velvet, chocolate, and many others. They take so much pride in their work, every cake and cupcake is so pretty.
So lets get down to the nitty gritty, PRICE. They have the best prices in Miami, beleive me i shopped around for my sisters baby shower cake, and to get a 2 tiered cake decorated so beautifully, and that tastes amazing is not cheap. They actually quoted me the same as publix, which does not compare, and publix wasnt even going to decorate it.
Everyone at the shower asked me where I had gotten the cake, and told me how great it was.

Todo Dulce delivered a near perfect cake. I had a very specific request for a blue hippo cake for my father’s 70^th birthday. They executed the design of the cake perfectly, delivery was on time and the price was very reasonable. It was also tasty! I ordered the lemon cake which was closer in consistency to a pound cake rather than a traditional cake but I like that more anyhow. Customer service was a bit jumbled which is why I did not award 5 stars however I will toss that up to slight language barriers and miscommunications. I would definitely use Todo Dulce again, they created a cake that my father will never forgot and everyone was amazed by.

After having had the cakes from Todo Dulce (Everything Sweet) at a few events in the past years, I decided to use them for my best friend’s bridal shower cake this past weekend as I had been very impressed with the cake designs I had seen as well as how good they had tasted.
I went in to Todo Dulce about two weeks ago with a copy of the party invitation and they were able to create a cake to match the invitation beautifully. Everyone that saw the cake had something great to say about it :) We chose to make the cake red velvet since that is the bride-to-be’s favorite filling and everyone was very happy with the taste of the cake too. Light and delicious!
The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that the cakes do tend to be pricey here and the ladies who own the shoppe speak mostly Spanish and I can see that being a problem for those who don’t.
