I’ve had better barbers, didn’t get the true barber shop feeling in here

Been cutting my hair with the owner since he was on coral way and 137. Now this place is called Rigos. Only guy I trust with what little hair I have left.

I go here once a month to get my hair cut with Fernando. Never had any problems with him. They have alot of barbers here as well as a women cutting hair. Place is small kept clean.

This is the local spot I’ve been going to for my haircut since 1998. The old man who cuts my hair always knows what to do, since I’m a regular. I’ve never tried any of the other barbers, but the first two guys always have two or three people waiting on them. The place is pretty clean, until you go into the back. It is a mess of papers, water bottles, the works. You have to walk through this mess to get to the bathroom, which I’m sure they never clean. Hair everywhere, crap written on the walls. I haven’t gone in the bathroom here for a year or two now and I don’t miss it at all. Maybe they fixed it up? I’m not willing to find out. Typical loud Cuban guys frequent the place from time to time, either selling flowers, or commenting on the Marlins game. Haircuts are $ 10, I always give my barber about $ 12, since I’ve known him for so long. Parking is always available in the lot, so no problems there, and a Subway resides next door if you need some lunch to go with that ‘do.
