Great spot! Menu is perfect for lunch and snakes, staff is open for personal juice options and environment is so friendly. Felt like I found the nicest meeting spot.

It was OK, I just feel like anything that they make there I can just make at home with the right materials.

This place is Amaaazing! I can’t believe how much I was missing out. So I have been here many times before, but it was mainly to grab a juice/smoothie and go. Today, it was my first time to sit down and try their food. All my previous experiences on healthy food, wether sandwich or salad, has been meh so I it never tempted me on ordering anything. Today I decided to give their tuna sandwich and wow, it blew me out. The sandwich is full of veggies, bean sprouts, carrots, etc all out together in a thin pita sandwich. The veggies were so fresh, and adding the green vegan sauce, it was very tasty. Honestly it is the first time I can say I have eaten not only a DELICIOUS but also HEALTHY sandwich. I guess I have just found my new favorite place in the Grove.

Best healthy lunch spot in the grove. Not expensive, consistent and very affordable. It’s been here since I was a kid and it hasn’t changed. Has the original grove charm. I always get the tuna pita and the spinach pie

This place is kinda hard to find(hidden in plain sight). But it’s a great, fresh and delicious place. I am not vegetarian but often enjoy vegetarian foods, and this one was a great find!

Dropped by for lunch on a Sunday. I had the mixed veggie juice which was awesome and a tofu salad with hummus. The hummus was awesome! The tofu was a tad bit chewy and dry, other than that the food was fresh and simple!

Fresh, light, and delicious! The Last Carrot is the perfect spot for grabbing a healthy meal. These folks do it right! There’s nothing artificial here! My favorite? The pita selections; preferably the chicken salad pita or the tuna pita. All items on the menu are made fresh. The girls at The Last Carrot are friendly and down to earth. They’re fast and always provide excellent customer service. The juices here are delicious! They have industrial juicing machines that are constantly being fed with fresh vegetables and fruits. All items are prepared to order behind the sitting/ordering counter. If you decide to stay in then it serves as a form of entertainment. The parking lot for The Last Carrot is shared with two businesses… a neighboring Subway and quick stop convenience store(The Last Carrot is between both). The parking lot I s small and yes people tend to park in here even if they’re not visiting the businesses inside this lot. Off-street parking is available and regulated by Miami Parking Authority. Thank you The Last Carrot for always providing me with fresh/healthy lunches when I’m in need of fuel.

I was referred by someone to this location and decided to stop by. This was a simple and casual place and not what you would expect in the Grove, but the food is on point. I had the tuna melt which was served on a spinach pita, and it was EXCELLENT! It was filled with veggies and tuna and at first glance I thought this was a bit on the small side, but to my surprise it was quite filling and delicious. I will definitely be coming back for the tuna melt. I ordered a fruit smoothie with it, all under $ 10. They accept credit cards, even though there is a sign that says cash only, so it looks like the policy has changed. My only reason for not giving it a higher mark is because you can actually enter and be waiting without anyone acknowledging you and no direction on whose next except that they yell whose next and for you to know which order who came in. Although I found a seat, the service situation seemed a bit hectic. If I can order ahead next time I will if it makes a difference.

Natural at its finest! This place isbrefeeshing whether youre a vegan or just want to keep it light. Had the grosshopper juice which had fresh pineapple and wheat grass shot. So good. Iwas in the mood for something sweet so I ordered the peanut butter apple and banana PITA. My daughter had the chicken salad pita that was stuffed with brussel sprouts and veggies delicious. Everything was refreshing you feel good after you eat here I will definitely be back also prices are low under $ 10 per person.

This used to be my favorite hidden gem of Coconut Grove. I moved away and now come back every month or so just to eat here. Every time I come back it takes a little longer for my order and the staff is a littler meaner. Not that they were ever very friendly 10 years ago either. Today I went in an waited for about 10 minutes to be acknowledged, ate a delicious tuna melt with a bananas smoothie and then waited to be acknowledged again to try to pay for my meal. After about 15 minutes I said excuse me can I please pay for my meal? And she says«yes, after I take care of all these customers with an eye roll» … Mind you, I had already eaten and been there an hour. You’d think she’d want the money and room for other people. I probably could’ve just walked out but I’d feel way to guilty. It’s been a bummer the past few times and I’m beginning to think it’s just not worth it.

Great place for a quick bite to go. The chicken salad and tuna salad pita is very good. Also, the spinach pie it is a little small but very good. Ordered the smoothie too, it was also good. Be sure to call them up if you are ordering ahead, they are very busy for lunch.

I came here upon a colleague’s high recommendation and was quite pleased. My initial thoughts are that the salads seemed a bit uninspired and the location and interior leave a bit to be desired. I ordered the spinach pie stuffed to the brim with chicken salad. And let me tell you, when I saw the size of the spinach pie(pre-stuffing) I was thinking perhaps I should have gone with 2. Especially considering it was less than $ 5. Boy was a wrong. It was huge and filling, and left me energized not weighed down. The apple and ginger juice was juiced before my eyes, and was perfect. Ginger is excellent for digestion and it left me feeling uplifted. Is everything ridiculously fresh? CHECK. Good value? CHECK. Friendly? CHECK. I literally watched their entire produce department being stocked while eating; lord knows how many times a week that event takes place. I probably wouldn’t venture out of my way to return. But if I’m in the area and wanting something light, you bet I would return.

This place is so good and healthy! I wish I lived in the grove again so I could come here more often! All the ingredients are super fresh and the staff is very friendly. Get both sauces! They taste great together. My fav is the chicken salad wrap. Yummy!

I was finally in the area and had time on my hands to grab lunch here. This place is really hidden, there’s no sign with their name above the store so its in the shopping lot where Kwik stop and Subway is. I thought the place was pretty dirty and old looking so that threw me off. Also that nobody really acknowledged me when I walked in? I understand it was just 3 of them making food and juices for their customers but one could turn their head to acknowledge customers. After 5 min of sitting and waiting one of them asked if I had been helped or not, she took my order and it was ready pretty quickly. I took it to go because there was a lot of people and also like I said, it looked dirty. Now whats important here is the food which is VERY good. I got a Tuna pita and it was a huge pita with great portions on everything. Their green and red sauces are delicious but lord knows whats in them, she asked me which color I wanted and I just said both. Felt like they just assumed everyone knows what it is but I also could have just asked. Overall I was kinda disappointed with the visit but I’ll come back at some point because I really enjoyed the pita.

This place was just fine for lunch in the Grove. Wanting something on the lighter side, a friend and I swung by The Last Carrot. It wasn’t too crowded so we easily found parking in the small lot in front and grabbed seats at the counter. When it came to actually ordering, it took a long time for us to be acknowledged and once they asked us what we’d like, they took my order but didn’t bother to ask my friend. Just a little awkward. From there, the food came somewhat fast but mine way before hers. It was both of our first time so when asked if we wanted sauce, I asked what kind of sauce and just got thrown a couple of cartons. Yes, it was really good, but what is it?! I understand the place is busy but there’s still a certain level of customer service needed to have an overall pleasant experience. I ordered the hummus pita. It was packed with veggies and with the sauce, pretty tasty(albeit messy by the end). I also sipped on a carrot and ginger juice which was good. All in all, it came out to about $ 12. Not too bad when compared to other healthy spots. We left full and I felt good about what I had ate, but when all is said and done, the whole experience left me feeling kind of meh.

I can’t believe I haven’t been in this place before. It is great for lunch! Place is casual and unpretentious compared to the main Coconut Grove area and prices are affordable also unlikely for the area. However, I am a fan of Coconut Grove. The young ladies behind the counter were polite and friendly. They really tried to keep up with the amount of orders they got this afternoon. Also, I noticed they greeted several customers by their names which is a great quality for customer service. My lunch was simple but delicious. Who knew that healthy food can taste good. The juices are made to order and prices won’t brake your bank, all under 4 $. My mixed Veggie juice was terrific and all natural. The whole wheat pita sandwich with white chicken salad was around 7 $ and it was fresh. I paid cash but I noticed they have an ATM inside the restaurant so that can be convenient if you forget it is cash only. They also have some free parking spaces but they share them with the market and a subway. Ironically, this place is located by a subway but there is no comparison. The Last Carrot is simple, delicious, affordable, and casual. If you are in Coconut Grove and feel like having a quick and healthy lunch this is the place.

Went here recently for lunch and had the Hummus Pita and it was very good. Lots of fresh veggies, hummus was fresh and delicious and their sauce served on the side was exceptional. Also had the banana and honey smoothie and it was excellent, they make all of their smoothies and juice right behind the counter! Luckily I went with someone who knew this place does not take credit cards or checks. The atmosphere is very informal, you sit at the counter and order and eat, just like a diner. As with everyplace in the Miami area parking can be a challenge as the lot is very small.

I live in weeeeest kendall(yes, as far west as you can go), meaning, it was definitely a trip for me to get out to this place. I’ve recently changed my diet, so been checking out vegetarian/vegan places and of course, made the attempt to visit the last carrot. After making the 45+ minute commute, I finally arrive. Parking was a pain(week day, but spring break, not sure if that made the difference). Got my toddler out of the car, walked over. Upon arriving, there were two people being attended to, not one employee looked up to greet. Waited about 10 minutes, nothing. Toddler was hungry and so was I. I soon realize that they take no cc, which was all I had — no cash on me. I mean, it’s 2015, what business doesn’t take cc? even the 90 year old guy in my block who sells aguacates takes cc, cmon! Needless to say, I had to now drive away and find another restaurant, all while toddler screaming in the back seat, and me being in awful mood from hunger(getting there took 45 mins, getting down and waiting another 15, finding anther place and commuting there, another 20(traffic jam hour). Bad experience.
