clearly i am not the only person who has had trouble with these people! how many negative reviews is it going to take before someone takes action against these people!
i gave them my deposit for my wedding back in april of last year! i am now finalizing details and just called my venue to ask some questions and apparently they dont have a contract or deposit from this lady or anything under my name and to make matters worse the venue is already reserved for someone else! Ive called Elizabeth numerous times sent emails and texts (which she has read) and i still have not heard from her.
i wish i would have seen all these reviews a year ago to avoid this situation, any people who r thinking of using her please dont even think twice! just move on to the next company! they are scamers and thieves! avoid the headache and heartbreak future brides! youve been warned!

These scam artists have now renamed their business to «Tastebuds Events» (
). They were previously known as «Tio Fiesta» and «A Taste for Events» I wish that I had found these reviews before giving Elizabeth Morales a $ 1,000 deposit for my party in May.
After finding Elizabeth drunk at our scheduled appointment time and countless promises to show me samples of what I had already ordered, I told her I no longer wished to do business with Tastebuds Events and since then, have had all my calls for a refund ignored.
Elizabeth and Ramon Morales are despicable scam artists! PLEASE RESEARCH THE COMPANY BEFORE GIVING THEM ANY MONEY! They have no facebook fan page because it would all be complaints. They are not rated in weddingwire, or Unilocal because they are trying to keep new customers from finding out about their fraudulent ways.
You have been warned! How many company name changes will Elizabeth and Ramon Morales go through? It is not the name of your company that needs to be changed, it is the people running this scam company: Elizabeth and Ramon Morales!

I see I am not the only person that was taken advantage of by this company, a taste for events aka tio fiesta owned by Elizabeth and Ramon Morales. This company is a complete scam, Brides please save yourself! There are so many things they lied about and did not come through with, not to mention take our things at the end. On the day of they were smart enough to personally serve us our food individually and to the parents. So the parents and groom said it was all good, that’s until afterwards we find out all the issues through guests. And then we were missing so much stuff.
Food
Paella, had chicken bones in it and little seafood. Not the same as from the tasting for all guests.
Some guests were not given bread.
Tostones were like rubber.
Ran out of pepsi during reception.
We were told they would furnish the bar but didn’t find out til the week before that we would have to buy our own limes, glasses, napkins, and mixers other than oj, cranberry and pepsi. which like i said they ran out of.

Wedding cake top was thrown in garbage, Raymond or Ramon whatever his name is told us someone took a piece of it so he threw it in the garbage! who does that? it doesn’t matter what shape it ends up in, every bride wants at least a piece of wedding cake for the year anniversary!
Grooms Cake was never seen again, the catering staff was seen taking it away from the general area after guests served themselves and it wasn’t seen again. It was a very nice red velvet fondant cake, personalized as a surprise for my groom! I paid for that cake separate because I had a feeling they wouldn’t make it happen.

Elizabeth Morales said she would go to the rehearsal for final set up details, no show
She was late to the tasting.
Elizabeth Morales said she would be there to set up at 2pm, no show until 7pm and left after 1.5 hours. She promised our parents she would be there the day of and make sure everything was in place, how would that promise happen if she was there after everything was going to start?! We had a friend who saved the wedding and coordinated the set up of everything for us.
She also told us that she would save all the liquor bottles and return everything to us so we could know that they didn’t take anything and what exactly they used. This was not my idea but hers. Then her husband yells and screams at me telling me that is a rediculous idea I made up. She won’t even respond with an apology about all her lies.
Staffmember wore a University of Miami tshirt and shorts to event, and walked through the reception room in that attire.
Miami Beach Botanical Garden attendant observed catering employees gather boxes of liquor and baskets and place them in their truck.
Their answer was a rude phone call and an email addressing the points they thought were valid with all lies. These people are a complete scam! No good for a real event.
Hopefully I can get this settled one way or another because it is not fair to take advantage of people on such big events.
To top this all off they posted pictures from my event on their facebook, passing off all the hard work of other vendors and my friends as their own. That’s just unneccesary!

So, here’s the lowdown… the latest on the saga of Taste For Events/​Tio Fiesta/​Tio Fiesta Events: every disgruntled person was ripped off by a husband and wife, con team. Their names are Ramon and Elizabeth. Now, they have apparently sold the tarnished (Tio Fiesta) name to another husband and wife team. If this is so, then they are now stuck with the tarnished name; maybe they didn’t make such a good buy. But here’s the kicker: THIS business is the one to be aware of, since it DOES belong to R&E. Which would lead one to ask…“Why sell a company, only to buy the same type of company (so, they are now competitors)? Same business in the same city? Unless you had something to run from, this makes no sense. Who would you have to run from? Unpaid vendors? Angry clients who have been scammed? Unilocalers, you be the judges! Just proceed with caution.

I hired this company for my wedding 1 month before the event. After taking a $ 1,300.00 deposit, they disappeared until 4 days before my wedding. When I freaked out and hired another company they refused to refund my money because of their «cancellation policy». They are not only extremely unprofessional and unreliable, but also thieves!!! Never use them. Do NOT do business with people by the names of Ramon or Elizabeth.
