T & S Roofing Systems

This company was great from start to finish. The guy Daniel that originally came out to do the estimate at our building was super professional and super friendly. The estimate came back very fair, we ended up going with the white roof (more energy efficient and gives us a rebate with Florida Power & Light). Although it did take them a little longer than originally stated, due to pulling the permits with the city, etc. once they got started, it was a relatively smooth process.
Now our building has a new roof (it even sounds so quiet now when it rains), no more leaks, it is guaranteed for many years to come and our main contact, Troy was extremely helpful. We received before, during and after photos of the roof.

I must say, customer service with this company is the best! After 5 years with their install of my roof, the rain stays out and the a/​c pumps cold. I am in a business group with one of the sales reps and he always stresses their customer service and their quality. I am a customer of this company and definitely recommend them greatly.

I contacted T&S Roofing to get a quote on a repair of my porch roof. They sent out a technician to assess my roof and I was told I would get a quote delivered by email within 24 hours. I did not get an email. I made several calls to inquire about the quote because I wanted the repair done immediately. In each call I was told that the quote had not been completed and that if I had not received the email in a couple of hours I should call back. I thought this was extremely unprofessional. I was affronted that no one in the company thought enough of my business to follow through. If the job was too small or one that they could not accommodate I should have been told that rather than have me waste time waiting for a quote that they never intended to send. I should not have been made to call back for days for a quote that I still have not received. My experience with T&S Roofing led me to conclude that they are very unprofessional and highly incompetent. I am appalled that this company is still in operation. I would never contact this company nor a company like it for services again.

Based on my experience with the company and the employees I dealt with, I’m surprised to see the negative reviews. The employee who gave me the estimate was very nice and gave me a very fair estimate to repair 2 roof leaks. A few weeks later, 2 of their crew came by to fix the problem areas. They too were polite, professional, and were on time. Upon request, they provided me with detailed info about the problem and the steps they took to fix the issues. They cleaned up after themselves and the repaired area looks good.
The day after they fixed my roof there was a heavy rainstorm in my area — the roof no longer leaked!

I have mixed feelings about this company. The workers are outstanding, hope they get paid enough… I had the honor of working with Carlos Chacon and his roofing crew, gentlemen and great workmanship. But, these are the workers, not management. In management I had the pleasure of working with Federico Ambrosini, another gentleman. The credit goes to the employees, not so much the company.
I had an issue with a solar panel company, Mr Solar, who claimed to be working side by side with T&S Roofing, with Angel, and with the owner of T&S. When all went wrong with Mr. Solar, and I spoke to my contact at T&S Leo for advice, it all seemed to turn sour and I never heard from Leo again.

Do NOT use this company:
–they don’t honor their word
–they were almost 2 months late in completing the work, which ended up not being complete.
–they knew we were MOVING OUT OF STATE and failed to complete the job prior to one day before the move which wasn’t complete (see next bullet point)
–it’s owner told me the job was finished BUT we, the homeowners found work that was not completed. The company had to come back to complete
–they knew and we were UNABLE to paint our house before we moved, something we needed to do only when the job was complete but the job was «complete» 24 hours before the move.
–don’t be fooled by a wonderful sales person who comes to your house, is very nice and then hands the job over to other departments within his company and says when the job is delayed and delayed, «I have no control over that». AND, the salesperson had NO idea of the status or details of the job despite the fact we were told he would. And ignored REPEATED phone calls and texts trying to find out the status of our work
–I asked if they could help in some way to accommodate the issues above, nothing.
–and when the job was complete, we had moved, across the country, and needed our neighbor to approve the final work. when his approval took longer than I think the company expected, THEY SENT NOTICE THREATENING PUT A LEIN ON OUR HOME.
–had I went on Unilocal prior to engaging this company and read SO MANY not good reviews by many people, I would have chosen another company. I would NOT believe the review dated ⁵⁄₁₁. Doesn’t he sound way too good to be true? Perhaps that’s a good friend of one of the owners? Come on, really?
–hey, the employees are nice.
–I don’t know how to get rid of the one star I put. Assume there are zero.

There are NO stars to give this company except the original sales person who came to our house was super nice and very knowledgeable, then he disappeared. We are too nice at the moment to give his name, but there’s time. You will have to check back in and see the final review because as of today, MAY 12, our roof is not completed.
The contract was signed MARCH 3. Rain has not been an issue.

I called to make an appointment for a re-​roof estimate and they were very professional in making the appointment but unfortunately, missed the appointment the day of. I waited an hour and then sent an email to the company advising them their representative had missed our appointment but have not heard back from the company since. Not even to apologize for missing our appointment and to reschedule. I guess they do not need my business. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Two weeks after I wrote the last comment on T&S Roofing, I have yet to hear from them.
No quote, no call, nothing. They must be in a good place cause apparently they do not need more business.
