Great shop & shooting ranges. They have a lounge area where you can hang out & chat with friends before/​after your range time.

Stone Hart’s is the best indoor shooting range that I have had the pleasure of patronizing. This is an excellent, comfortable, safe firearms venue. The staff at the desk and the range officers are courteous and knowledgeable. Don’t feel intimidated if you’re new to firearms! Free basic gun safety orientation is offered. I took my Concealed Weapons course here. I wholeheartedly recommend this «full service» facility for shooting and anything else related to firearms. As always, shoot safe!

They close at 10pm but if you get here at 850pm they won’t let you shoot because they seize fire at 945pm… dont make sense but okay sure…

Front desk girls have a snappy attitude. Seems like they hate there job. They need training in the customer service dept.

I just began shooting pistols in September and started by getting a membership at Stone Hart’s. As others have noted, the staff members are friendly and knowledgeable and the range officers are helpful while always placing safety first.
Gus at the front desk is very helpful and he makes newbies like me feel right at home. Alex and Adriano the range officers and a couple other range officers whose names escape me have provided me with excellent tips on shooting and immediately improved my skills. I highly recommend Stone Harts for all levels of shooters, male or female.

The staff is great. Most are Army or veterans of the Marines, and have seen combat. All are very polite and helpful. Bill at the counter knows a ton about guns, and Adriano inside the range can help most shooters improve their skills. This place is safe and well supervised.

By far my most favorite range to use. The range officer is very friendly and helpful. The place is rarely packed in the early morning. Overall the place is very clean and the staff is very knowledgeable. They offer a lot of classes at reasonable prices you don’t find at most of the other ranges in Dade County.

This place lives up to its great reviews. Worth the trip if you’re in Miami, even though it is out of the way. I went as a first time shooter and they were super helpful and patient with me. The staff on the range itself were very patient and considerate and kept a good eye on me because I was a little nervous. There seemed to be a lot of satisfied customers of all backgrounds and experience levels.

I took my dad for Father’s Day. We were a total of three people shooting; I rented very single thing we needed because we didnt have any; we were a total of four going in the range (that person also needs goggles and ear protection) and I ended up paying, with «deal» around $ 100. It can get a little bit pricey but it is actually a lot of fun, and if you already have the goggles, some kind of ear protection and buy the bullets somewhere else you will definitely be saving some money.
The staff is friendly, they have a decent variety of guns and rifles to pick from, have a good deal if you are only two and the place is clean, also very important.
I don’t know if I would be going again any time soon but I am glad we went. My dad remembered the days when he was younger and I got to practice with him, something I had not done in years.
Overall, if you are feeling a lil adventorous go pay a visit.

If you’ve been to any indoor ranges in Miami, you already know most are lacking some things. Stone Hart isn’t. It’s my go-​to-​range even though it’s not as close as several others. It’s a nice place with an enthusiastic and knowledge staff. I’ve never rented any guns here, they have some nice ones though! If I ever have an issue or question they staff is always here to help me out. Need any gunsmithing/​customizing done? They can help you out with certain things like adding all those parts to your AR. Best of all is bowling night! What’s Bowling Night? How do you bowl at a gun range??? Come Thursday night and find out! I can’t wait for my SBR Stamp on my new Sig MPX to come back! Bowling with my 30 round SBR is going to be fricken awesome!

There is nothing bad I can say about this place. The staff is very professional and attentive, prices are fair, the place is super clean, very well ventilated and the lanes have high tech digital guides. There’s always at least one or two staff members inside the shooting range keeping an eye on everything making sure everything is running smoothly. Let’s just put it this way I had such a great experience that I went twice the first day I found out about the place.

Yes this place is not cheap.
But within the south Miami area it has the best atmosphere. Opens late. Yes their firearms and ammo are over priced, but if you don’t know how to solve that problem, you deserve to be over charged.
The staff is cool. I bought a MP5 and USPC9 there. I got a membership there and used up my one free transfer on a HK45T.
The staff is very nice, they are not the most knowledgeable bunch, but you should do your own research. I like dealing with Hector.
They rent guns, so sometimes you gotta watch out with who’s next to you.
I was there one day and these two YOLO types rented a Kimber. My target was at 15 yards, maybe double their distance. They manage to hit my target.
Considering how we out safety first, I do not like ranges that rent guns. Not unless they take a safety course. Hector gave me a bunch of those flags they use to indicate s clear chamber. When the two child left, the magazine was in the firearm with hammer cocked. He held it like that back to the counter. I knew that they were leaving because they ran out of ammo, but it things like that, that makes me avoid times when their are a lot of people.
The facility us new, digital target distance.
All in all I enjoy the place. I think I pay 12 $ an hour? When it’s. It busy a d I stay for 3 – 4 hours. They don’t charge me overtime.
It’s a good place to practice handgun fundamentals. Useless for rifles.

Lovely hidden place. It was my first time shooting. I was very scared at first because it was my first time hearing live bullets. I got used to it after a little while. This is an indoor shooting range.
Thanks to my friend for introducing me to this place. The employees are very friendly there and helpful.
The range is pretty big with 8 lanes. Ladies shoot free on Monday after 5pm. There’s also a pool table in there. A lot of toys to see and other gun related products. The range gets pretty busy. The price is decent. I would definitely go back and shoot some more.

Wonderful place to visit for the whole family. If shooting some guns is in your plans then you have to try this place. Found this place on Unilocal and came here with my wife and kids. They shot for the first time and loved it. The staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. A good place to spend a few hours away from the heat.

I planned to use Stone Hart’s to ship a pair of Glocks to a shop out of state. I called first to make sure I had everything necessary for the transfer. The guy that answered the phone (we’ll call him Gun Counter Guy 1, or GCG#1) said it would be no problem, but he couldn’t give me a cost estimate over the phone, and that I would have to come in. That sounded a little odd, because other shops I’ve dealt with have been able to give me a ballpark figure over the phone, but ok, no big deal.
I make the drive to Stone Hart’s (30 minutes for me), and when I arrive, GCG#1 hands me off to another guy (henceforth referred to as GCG#2) who will arrange the shipping for me. GCG#2 asks if the guns are going to an FFL that only accepts shipments from another FFL. I said «no, but it’s cheaper for you to ship the guns than if I go through UPS.» GCG#2 tells me it only costs me $ 20 – 30 to ship them via UPS. When I tell him that it’s significantly more expensive than that to overnight the guns, he says «oh, no, you don’t have to overnight them. Use 3-​day ground and don’t declare them as firearms.» When I point out that they are still firearms, GCG#2 replies «no, just take ‘em apart and say they’re parts. I do it all the time.»
Right. UPS goes by federal law when determining what is and is not a firearm (18 U.S.C. § 921, if you’re bored), which means that the frame constitutes the firearm, whether or not the gun is assembled or in pieces. And UPS requires that handguns be shipped overnight. And federal law requires that I inform UPS if I am shipping a handgun.
Despite GCG#2’s claim that he ships firearms as «parts» all the time (in clear violation of UPS policy), I ask if he can arrange shipping of the firearms AS firearms. He says «ok, but it’s going to take a while.» He also asks if I brought a box to ship them in. No. No, I did not. Because when I called, I specifically asked if I needed to provide my own mailing box, and GCG#1 told me no, all I needed was to bring the guns in their original cases, so that’s what I did. At this point I’m getting the vibe that GCG#2 really isn’t interested in my business, but hey, I drove all the way up from Homestead because Stone Hart’s is open late, so I decide to hang around.
Ten minutes later, GCG#2 informs me that he can’t get anyone on the phone from UPS, but that he won’t get a break on shipping, and I’ll have to ship the guns myself. Perfect. I’m glad that I wasted my time droving up from Homestead only to find out information that could easily have been provided to me over the phone.
Let me also take the time to address Stone Hart’s strict «no concealed carry» policy. While I support the right of a business to decide what they do and do not allow on their property, it seems pretty hypocritical for a company to make money selling guns and then prohibit its customers from carrying those guns on its property.
Followup: After posting this same review on Stone Hart’s Facebook page, I was contacted by the range owner, Augusto Luna, who clarified that GCG#2’s practice of illegally shipping weapons via USPS was not Stone Hart’s policy, and that Stone Hart would be setting up a UPS account to be able to better handle transfers in the future. He also apologized for my bad experience dealing with GCG#2. While I still probably won’t return to Stone Hart, I appreciate the owner reaching out to me and making an effort to fix the problem.

Yes, it wasn’t conveniently located close to my home but thanks to waze, they were easy to find.
The people that run this place are super knowledgable, friendly and willing to explain everything. The whole experience was very nice and stress free.

I came here for a friend’s bachelor party, a group of 9. They were very accommodating. Officially we had 4 lanes, but for the first hour they let us have the run of the range we were in, until they had to put someone in with us. They let you shoot whatever you want. Pistols, AK47s, full auto M5s, Mac10s, 308 Lapuas; and that is just what we brought with us. Spent a few hours, bought more than a few rounds and it ended up being 90 bucks each.
Hell of a lot better way to waste 100 bucks than at a south beach bar!

Best indoor gun range in Miami Dade, hands down! The place is clean and classy, with knowledgable and incredibly friendly staff. A an employee named Adrian is particularly kind and very passionate about guns! He knew exactly what gun to recommend me based on how I like to shoot and what I can handle comfortably (I’m a small person!)
On Mondays they have ladies night, which is great because us ladies shoot FREE! Sorry boys. :)
Overall, great place for target practice and hanging out (they have a lounge area with coffee, ice cream, and a pool table) as well as a wide selection of guns and gun accessories to purchase (with negotiable prices)

I’ve gone to many ranges over the years, & some shine where others fail. This place really captures a little bit of greatness in all aspects & fails at nothing. They have both a pistol & a rifle range available.
Highlights:
Staff: Friendly & on point with safety standards. Range masters always in the lanes keeping a watchful eye without being in your face for no reason.
Cleanliness: Very well kept both in the range area & sales floor. I was impressed.
Quality: They use modern equipment for target range distance & keep the indoor ranges with clean air to breathe which can be a problem for some poorly ventilated indoor ranges.
Ammo: They sell ammo but only if you are shooting. Don’t go thinking this is your new Walmart though as brand selection is limited & pricing is on point with most ranges.
Comfort: They have a special area with TV & a couch for any non shooters to stay entertained. Parking is also plentiful
Affordability: The range lane rentals are fairly priced & allow up to two shooters per lane.
Innovative: They have a special night for shooting at bowling pins to keep it interesting. Shooting at paper targets does get boring rather quickly so this is really cool.
Would I go again? YES!
