History

Established in 2009.

As budgets become more and more limited, schools cannot afford to maintain small class sizes, much less provide individualized instruction. That’s where we come in – Soaring Scores provides highly individualized, one-​on-​one tutoring sessions in the comfort and security of your home, after-​school facilities, libraries, or community centers.

Meet the Business Owner

Stephanie M.

Business Owner

Stephanie, the founder of Soaring Scores, has more than five years of teaching and tutoring experience and has successfully inspired learning in children of all ages and abilities. She holds several teaching certifications, including Elementary Education (K-​6) and Exceptional Student Education (K-​12), as well as an endorsement in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Stephanie also has plenty of experience as a student. In 2003, she received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Florida, and in 2009, earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida International University, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Stephanie, a lifelong learner, continues to pursue excellence through numerous professional development workshops.

Stephanie is currently an educator with Miami-​Dade County Public Schools.
