Snappers Fish & Chicken

Been eating here for a few days now, my job site is right down the street and it’s the only restaurant in the marginal area. Service was very slow, they only have one girl taking drive thru orders and ppl at the window. I must have stood at the window for a good 10min before I was even acknowledged. And when I was she was really snappy and talking to me and the drive thru customer at the same time. Uggh annoying. Finally got my food after a while. Ordered the 10 piece shrimp. Shrimp were loaded with waaaay too much lemon pepper powder, it was over bearing. And the fries were freezer burnt. Overall horrible experience.

I’ve been looking for a place where I can just get some quick fish without it being subpar quality. I’ve tried all the regular fast-food’s fish sandwiches (Wendy’s, McDonalds, etc.) but they’ve always left me feeling wanting. Long John Silver’s is just plain grossly over-​breaded and greasy. I thought for a while that Miami Subs would satisfy my occasional fried fish needs, but their fish was only marginally better than Long John Silvers. Thankfully, I found Snappers.
I ordered the grilled fish with rice and beans. For $ 13, they give you plenty of fish (thick too). Their selection of seafood is great with a large variety of meals (albeit mostly fried) at an affordable price. The fish I got was well cooked and substantial. Perhaps whats best of all is they they actually have fish sticks, something I’ve long been looking for to replace those occasional McDonald’s visits.
Overall, this is finally the fast food place that gets fish right. This is essentially the Chick-​fil-​a of fish.

Always fresh food cooked to order, if you don’t have time to wait go to another restaurant. There catfish nuggets are really good. The service is always A1.

Hey ppl I been to this fish and chicken spot in Miami and let me tell you if you like chicken wings you will love these little crispy chicken wing with the perfect mix and extra lemon pepper man that was the best chicken I have ever had. But then comes the best part is there conch salad and shrimp WOW everybody listen to me Go to snappers you will not live to regret it.
