Our dog training methods are safe, humane and effective. We never use clickers, treats or shock collars to train your dog. These are not needed and can be dangerous to your pup. Our training methods are positive and rewarding to both the dog and your household. You and your dog will not only learn a ton, but you will also have a great time!

We NEVER train using any of the following…

– NO Clickers — Want to carry a click with you every time you walk your dog? Nope!

– NO Treats — Imagine a dog that only listens if you have some kibble. Bad news!

– NO Shock Collars — Does electrocuting your dog sound good? Didn’t think so.

History

Established in 2010.

Smart Start Puppies Dog Training locations are opening across Florida, but our Miami location was our very first. In 2010, founders Anthony & Cherie began building a great base in Miami to what would become the largest non-​franchised dog training company in South Florida.

Cherie was formally a grade school teacher. Helping others learn (rather dog or human) comes natural to her. Anthony learned his training methods from leading guide dog trainers. He brought these methods back to Cherie and a business was built.

Since then, they have opened locations in several areas in Florida, including coverage in all of Broward County and the Greater Tampa area. Cherie now manages the Broward location, and Anthony still manages Miami. No matter the location, we always strive to provide the same quality experience that have made us the leaders we are today!

I am a guy that really loves life. Above all, I enjoy time with my family. I also love helping other families with their dog training issues. There is real joy in delivering results which help people live better lives. If I am not working, you will find me enjoying the best of South Florida. From outdoor sports to good food, I truly enjoy it all!
