I looked up reviews for eyebrows and this place had the best ones. Too bad it was closed when it says they should be open.

Close to a year later, and I am still 100% loyal to Maria and her waxing. I hope they never leave Miami Shores!

The name says it all. Maria is very smooth and her waxing skills are impeccable. Make sure to make an appointment and you should be fine.

I’ve visited Silky Smooth many times and every time I’m delighted by the service I receive. I’ve had many waxings here as well as several mani/​pedis. The salon is always clean and the service is prompt. I am always able to get an appointment when I need one and the staff is always friendly and very attentive. The nail service is awesome, the body waxing is awesome. But I am always especially delighted with my eyebrow waxing. I can’t stop looking at them in the mirror! If you’ve never gotten your eyebrows done by Maria, you are certainly missing out! Silky smooth is heads and shoulders above any other waxing or nail salons I have been to. I highly recommend all of the services here.

I tried to come here as a walk-​in a few months ago and the salon was booked. The owner was very nice about her refusal, so I decided to come back– this time with an appointment!
Great service, very well done and reasonably priced manicure. The nail tech was not very chatty; there was almost an awkward silence.
Plenty of street parking.

Amazing services! Maria is the goddess of waxing! She is so kind and understanding, applies large pieces to sensitive areas to make it minimally painful. So thorough, she even tweezes leftover hairs so you are completely smooth… silky smooth!

I have been going to this salon for a few years, only for pedicures. Usually, I would give them 5 stars, as their techs are generally great, the salon is clean, and the ambience is relaxing! I also know that the owner is known for her excellent waxing, although I have never had this service. This salon is very intimate, with only two chairs; it is very elegantly, yet simply decorated.
The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is that on my most recent visit, there was a new technician who kept insisting that I try products that I did not want and overall made me feel very uncomfortable. Instead of being a calming experience, I felt anxiety and ended up having a fair pedicure, unlike the excellent ones I’d had in the past. When the owner questioned my experience, she really didn’t do anything about it. Given that I have been patronizing her salon for a while, I felt that she should have at least discounted the pedicure.
Please know that, also, the services are a bit more pricey than other salons, so I would expect excellent service at all times.
I will go again, and recommend that you do, also. I’m sure this was just a oversight.

Maria who does the waxing is amazing and very friendly. She did exactly what I wanted and she did an amazing job. I love this area parking is extremely easy.

Beautiful Place! Clean and relaxing. Everyone was friendly, polite and professional. Looking at my fingers and toes… Lovely! My brows are also waxed and plucked to perfection. I left with a smile on my face, feeling pampered and special.

The best Wax, Mani, Pedi salon in the Miami Shores, Upper East Side, and North Miami are. Boutique style salon very posh and intimate. A relaxing haven! No acrylic and chemical smells like the Nail Factories. Owner Maria custom makes her wax. Eileen & Janet are simply Amazing and only use Essie, OPI, Butter, and Soya! Every month Maria surprises her clients with martinis and other treats!

Maria is the best waxer. I have followed her all over Miami and now, she has opened her own salon! Definitely go. Quality products for both waxing and nails.
And let’s not forget, CLEAN. She doesn’t double dip, reuse the same applicator twice. That’s something you don’t find in Miami.
