Santa’s Enchanted Forest

I truly dislike this place! I had vowed to never return and low and behold my hubby and I thought it would be a good idea to try one more time for a child before the factory closes almost 10 years later and the last of the Mohicans wanted to go. So we promised the little one that we would take her. It’s like how I remembered 10 years ago, yucky! The food was disgusting as always, the little one was creeped out by almost everything lol. The only good thing they had that wasn’t there 10 years ago is that daiquiri place. Other than that you can ride in a nearby neighborhood to see lights and wait for the fair for rides and food.
To pay so much and for it to not have many things is sad. I’m glad there was a hook up because there’s no way I’ll pay that much for this place.

If you like long lines, and overcrowded parking, come on down to «Santas». It’s as cheesy as it was 20 years ago and filled with teenagers waiting to ride the «Himalayas». They now have a express pass, which will bump you to the front of the line, at a steep price. I went with my husband and kids, and really couldn’t find many decent lines or rides for children under 54″ tall. The christmas displays seem outdated and there needs to be an increase in rides. I did appreciate seeing many officers in uniform patrolling the area. The food is still the same variety: candy apples, churros, deep fried oreos, etc. I keep returning because my kids really seem to enjoy it, which is the real reason.

A star because I have to. The park is nice, lighting is beautiful but the rides are old, the people working on those rides are rude, they have no idea of what customer service means. It is over priced! 30 some dollars for adults (10 and older) and 21 some dollars for children (9 and under). I am surprised they allowed 2 and under for free!
Some of the attractions that kids love the most you have to pay for (pony rides, bungee jump, petting zoo, etc) and they are overpriced!
I don’t even want to talk about the food! Unhealthy and expensive! It’s sad because we brought our children to this place all the way from California and it was a big waste of time and money. Not coming here ever again. Don’t waste your money!

As long as there are animals caged and exploited, I will not recommend this «experience» to anyone.

Unfortunately they also have a tiger show, sea lion show and a monkey who was spotted picking up garbage from the ground. They have a team of ponies bound to a metal spinning apparatus and forced to walk in circles for hours on end to create a live carousel.
These animals do not belong at a carnival, traveling long distances from shows or being displayed to the public.

Hello, Mr. Santa Claus, or should I say Mr. Expensive Claus?
We meet again under extreme overcrowding and tortuous circumstances, much as the prior year. You, with your soul-​catching-​bright-​blinding lights, that make your wild and unfortunately captivating,“enchanted forest”, as you call it, seem like a day time jungle of carnies and artery clogging delectables of which by the end of 3 hours one would wish for a demented snowman rape and pillage you in order to not feel the far more severe pain your body and wallet have been exposed to.
Oh, and mr. Claus, let’s not forget the screams of the young poor souls whom you have, with your treats, toys and tricks, won over the hearts of these little defenseless children, children who have to endure the long, maze-​like lines to ride the death traps you call «amusement rides.»
To you, Mr. Claus, and your enchanted forrest of deception, I wish you and yours a not– so-​merry-​Christmas. As Dr. Seuss once said, «Your soul is an appalling dump heap overflowing with the most disgraceful assortment of rubbish imaginable mangled up in tangled up knots!»

After seeing the conditions animals are kept in this is certainly not a place I would consider a family friendly venue. There is nothing festive seeing animal cruelty. Dont Buy a Ticket.

I have a few friends who were thinking of bringing their families there. I told them not to because of the cruel treatment of animals, and simply because animals for entertainment is selfish… there are a ton of other ways to spread holiday cheer. Animals for entertainment is not one of them.

How could I pay to go to a place that supports animal cruelty. How could I even step into a place like this. I can’t support business that supports inhumanity.

If you love animals then you should not support this event! Animal cruelty for your enjoyment is not humane! These animals are scared and have shitty living conditions. I was really excited to visit this place for the first time until I was told about their animal entertainment. I can’t support a place like that. I would’ve visited for the food, the rides and the lights. It looks like so much fun (as tacky as it is!). If they’d drop the animal non sense I would absolutely buy a season pass to this place!

This place is run down, overpriced and completely ridiculous for including LIVE ANIMAL SHOWS. The sea lions are laying in an actual kiddy pool and there was a really sad looking monkey just going around picking up trash. They have actual ponies ties to this spinning metal pole system to give rides, it was totally depressing. Please ask Santa’s Enchanted Forest to drop animal acts. We won’t be back until they do.

I went looking for the shitty experience everyone is disappointed to find at Santa’s. Here’s a list of the things I loved the most:
The dark, sketchy parking lot gives you the reality check you need to fully embrace the forest.
The lack of signage to guide you towards the park pushes you to explore.
The entrance with the snow-​spitting, maybe choking to death Santa.
The one-​eyed train that hasn’t been fixed for almost two years because it would totally lose its charm.
Surfer Santa.
Fisher Santa.
Jet-​ski Santa.
Astronaut Santa.
The real, sad Santa.
The random out of place shoppes such as Bamboo Pillows and Multicolor Hoverboards.
The «EVERYTHING $ 5 expect large spiderman» store sign.
The zebra that is actually a painted-​on pony.
The tiniest woman in the world.
The passive aggressive personality of the Santa’s enchanted forest personnel that are a great representation of «naughty» /​«nice».
Jamaican banana plush.
Lysergic bear.
The old, rusty, over sped and obviously not secure rides that are definitely more thrilling than a safe, boring, slow Disney ride.
The rush you feel when walking back to the car, did someone break in or not?
The fried food scent your clothes still emanate once you get home, so that you remember all the magic.
TLDR I Wanted it to be shit and it’s even shittier than expected. 5 stars. Would come again.

This is not Christmas Spirit, this is animal cruelty! This place is awful, terrible way to celebrate the holidays with kids.

So basically I come here every year to gain a couple pounds.
I’m not a fan of carnival rides, since I don’t trust them at all.
But the food at santas enchanted forest never fails to satisfy my tummy.

A lot of fun! We went with our kids and decided to also go back another day just with adults so we could fully enjoy different things. The season pass is worth it I think. I felt like a kid again.
The price is a bit too high in my opinion since you still have to pay for a few things. Kids under 3 go for free which is nice though.
The food options are not good when you don’t eat meat! There was a «healthy» truck but it wasn’t open which was disappointing. I will definitely go back.

I have made it a tradition to bring my daughter here each year. She’s 13 now and still enjoys it. It’s a highlight on its own letting her know that we are going and we always have a good time. It seems that the admission prices go up each year so we only go once per season. All the rides are included in the admission price.
