History
Established in 2010.
In 2010 Sampoorna Yoga Miami (SYM) opened yoga classes as part of its Mobile Yoga Studio™, independently operating yoga programs at different venues in Dade and Broward. Since then, many students have been nurtured on their individual path in yoga in Mobile Yoga Studio private and group classes. In 2013, SYM opened a free weekly yoga class for military veterans through www.ConnectedWarriors.org. In late 2013, owner and yoga teacher Sheena Szuri, having advanced her yoga training at Yogi Hari’s Ashram, left her lucrative career as a Scientist with a local pharmaceutical company to pursue her calling in yoga full time, embarking on a new direction to open a permanent yoga center. In December 2014, SYM secured a permanent space that is not just a yoga studio but a yoga resource center, where everyone can feel comfortable in their own individualized yoga practice, in a nurturing environment regardless of their level, shape, age or ability. And now the journey continues!

Business Owner
«Life is a journey, a grand adventure.» — Shri Yogi Hari
Yogi Hari’s quote is a resounding influence in my life. I recently left a lucrative career as a scientist in the pharmaceuticals industry in search of something broader and more meaningful in life. Having finally found my dharma, my life calling, I am exploring a different kind of science: the science of divine knowledge, which is YOGA. After a few years of self-discovery and using my naturally inquisitive science-driven mind, delving deep into yoga philosophy, meditation, and asana practice, I took the 200-hr teacher training course at Yogi Hari’s Ashram in 2010 and was bestowed the spiritual name ShivaPriya. In 2014 I was awarded the title Yoga Archarya (Professor of Yoga) by my guru Shri Yogi Hari and earned an RYT500 certification through Yoga Alliance. I am humbled every day and honored to be able to share Sampoorna Yoga with my students through interactive, fun classes and workshops in South Florida.
