Admittedly not gelato — but okay as far as ice cream goes. If you want something better, try the Gelateria 4Ds that are in the area as they’re pretty good and have an ample selection of flavors. Portions are generous, too. However, if you’re really in the mood for authentic gelato, hand made and bursting with flavor and taste unequalled anywhere else — go to Italy.

This place is mediocre at best. Here is what my rating entails: 2 stars for cleanliness and location. Service: Ok — not nearly as friendly and inviting as Coldstone, per say. Gelato: Save your money. Not authentic gelato, more like wannabe Coldstone. Did I say Coldstone again? Yeah well this place is confused between icecream and Gelato, but its DEF not gelato. Taste? Well… Have you ever gotten freezer burn on your icecream at home? That’s what mine tasted like — stale, days old icecream. NOTGELATO.

Ever since my favorite gelato place closed, I was sad… Then there was a glimmer of hope when I heard this place existed. This glimmer of hope quickly died as I tasted my 4.59 cent(for a very small) horribly inaccurate version of what these people call«gelato». None of the flavors tasted anything like they were supposed to(believe me, I tried about 6 before I decided on the closest one). I will never be returning. Now I will be forced to drive all the way to the beach whenever I get a gelato craving. That’s just cruel.

The kids that work there are thieves! After the girl cashier charged my card for four ice cream cones after I only bought two, the boy that refunded me in cash then tried to short me $ 10 dollars. When I asked to see all receipts and they were extremely rude about it, until I threatened to get the police involved. I watched my bank statement for a couple of days after to make sure that they had not written down my credit card number, since I could not see my card while they were charging it in the back.

This is a new place, I love artisan/local ice cream shops especially coming from Europe/South America, so I really wanted to like and give this place a try. The place looks nice, good marketing and startup. But the ice cream… wow what a disappointment. I didn’t mind the few flavors they had as long as it was good, but they were all artificial tasting, the texture not smooth, the flavors were just artificial. I had trouble finishing up the ice cream. This is not italian gelato, far from it. Publix ice cream is much better than this, that’s how bad this is. R&J I really wanted to like you, why is it so hard to make real european ice cream? :(Absolutely avoid it.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream… or gelato in this case. Nestled in the Town and Country shops next to Blu Martini(yes…be careful for the Veteranas guys… lol) and CG Burgers is this quiant little shop where you will find an array of gelatos of all sorts of flavors. Of course we all like our Dairy Queens and Coldstones but its refreshing to see these local places open up around town. One of the selling points to this place especially for me is there selection of sugar free flavors. Now, the gelato specialist in the front said they normally have a variety of sugar free flavors but that on this night in particular they only made 2 and one was sold out. I had a mixed fruit flavor and was taken to a little land of bliss. In other words… it was dam good!!! I suggested they get some more detailed nutritional information on the sugar free items becaue we also have worry about carbs. Till the next visit so i can explore some more flavors!!!
