Regus – Mayfair in the Grove

I had a team meeting at the Regus Office Space at the Mayfair this week. The location was very modern and clean. We were only eight people and had a room set up boardroom style. Regus provides everything you will probably need for a meeting except a projector, including a screen, flip chart, whiteboard, markets, and free internet. There is also free coffee in the lounge.
There are many rooms of various different sizes. The place is like a maze. I got lost going to the bathroom more than once! I saw one gentleman working in an office for one and I am sure there are conference rooms larger than the one we had.
The price for our room for the day was about $ 200. If you book online you get a 10% discount. This is a bargain compared to having a meeting in a conference room in a hotel. Plus, you can bring in your own food which saves money. We just brought in food from the Bookstore in the Grove which is next door. It was just salads and sandwiches but it served the purpose. Later on, our manager ran to get some beverages and snacks from «the Bookstore». The brownies ended up going home with me and husband said it was one of the best. brownies he ever had!
There is plenty of parking in the garage underneath at the Mayfair. It was a little pricey at $ 12 for the day but hey, it’s the Grove. My only knock on Regus at the Mayfair is the hours. It closes at 5pm. Now I am certainly not a work-​a-​holic but sometimes business does last a bit later than 5pm. For example, on on the day we were there, a few of us were on a conference call that unexpectedly lasted later than five. The folks at Regus did not kick us out the door but they did keep walking in to see when we were leaving. I think a place that caters to business people should be open till at least 6pm.
Overall though, a comfortable and reasonable option for a business meeting. Using the Mayfair location makes me curious about trying other Regus locations when the need arises.

I don’t know how other Regus offices are run, but the Coconut Grove office is great. The refreshment bar is always stocked and clean. The bathrooms are always clean. Everything is tastefully decorated — very modern. More importantly, the staff is amazing. They are friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful. I truly enjoy working here.

We’ve had our business based at this center since it opened and have found the staff and the facilities to be outstanding. From the start, they’ve made it very easy for us to have an on-​demand type of arrangement since we are all traveling constantly and working on location around the world.
For those visiting Miami that have Regus memberships, this center is extremely well designed functionally and aesthetically. Coconut Grove is a great backdrop as well.
