This place should close and reopen as a new Miami Museum of Mold and Mildew. The facilities were not broken but bathroom was creepy with mold. No corner of the property from the pool to the room is without the stench of mildew. Locks on some rooms were faulty. Gave one star since staff was friendly.

Needed a place for one night. Usually stay in better places, but this was ok for one night. Very old and run down, but the staff tries their best to make you feel comfortable.

This is a good low-cost yet reliable hotel. It may not be the cheapest place around, but is probably the cheapest place without a lot of meth. For me, it was in the $ 70 a night range. Everything was in working order, the breakfast is acceptable, there’s enough parking, and they have a pool that no one was ever using.
Also — they allow pets. That’s a big deal if, for instance, you are bringing pets.
Facilities are a little rough around the edges, but just a little. I don’t know what those three recent terrible reviews are about.

The staff and management at this location are exceptional! Sandra W and Randall C went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable. They never hesitated to provide us with what we needed. Along with the friendly housekeeping staff and convenient location, this is the perfect place to stay in Miami!

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA

What a great experience I had at this hotel, it fit my needs perfectly and on top of that the staff here is terrific! When I lost my car keys right when I was headed out to the very event I came into town for, the whole staff rose to the occasion and helped me find them! Carmen at the front desk, the housekeeping staff and my hero Melvin who climbed into the dumpster and found my keys that had somehow ended up in the garbage. He saved my trip!
My room was clean and well made up every day, the AC was cold, the shower hot, Free WIFI, lots of good food nearby, Publix and CVS walking distance right next door, the Falls shopping mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. This is the best hotel to stay at if you are on a budget and looking to stay in this area or on your way down to the Keys.

Horrible place to stay. Mold in the bathroom and around the sink. Air conditioner cover broken and sounded like a lawn mower. Filthy behind bathroom door. Lamp on desk looked like it had never been wiped off.
This was the SECOND room!
First room, same mold problem. Light over vanity didn’t work. Shower bar had been pulled away from wall so curtain would not stay in place. Filthy behind bathroom door (seeing a pattern here?).
Apparently they have never heard of bleach, or checking behind doors.
Steer clear of this place.

These hotel really deserves 0 stars! Crappiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at by far! It was dirty and built poorly. Our door wouldn’t even close, the rack they put in the wall fell off when we tried to use it, and the breakfast they provide was awful. I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. Also the hotel has no regard for its guests. Two nights in a row they had parties, the parking lot had no room for the actually guests and the noise they made kept me and my family up till 2am! And when we said something the just said sorry. Absolute crap. Horrible experience, save yourself the money and take it else where so you don’t have to deal with this god forsaken hotel.

Absolutely horrible. Air Conditioner couldn’t keep up with a fairly mild Miami winter day and it left a puddle of water on the floor. Shower had extremely low flow heads and the temperature fluctuated frequently. Everything was cheap and run down… No refrigerator or microwave. When we checked out, the genius maintenance staff decided in the humid morning it was a GREAT time to paint the concrete outside. When walking off the stairs to the car I slipped on the wet paint and it got all over my shoes. NO wet paint sign to be found. About ten minutes later a sign showed up. Talk about putting the carriage before the horse. Avoid at all costs!

At $ 112/night, this place is of little value. Room 114 had a musty odor to it. But the odor didn’t emanate from the carpet or any other fabric. It originated from the A/C unit. I’m guessing that filters aren’t changed regularly. Because of this lack of attention to detail, any guest in this room will be greeted rudely.
The $ 112/night isn’t standard however. There were several events going on in Miami during my stay, so that was reflected in the price. I wouldn’t pay more than $ 50/night to stay here to be honest, even with the free breakfast.
The free breakfast is pretty basic. Below is the list of offerings:
–bagels (cinnamon raisin & plain)
–english muffin
–traditional muffin
–cereal (cheerios, frosted mini wheats, special k, frosted flakes)
–scrambled egg (microwaved)
–bacon or sausage (microwaved)
–yogurt
–oatmeal packets
–coffee/tea/apple juice/orange juice/milk
–fruit (banana, apple, orange)
At least the tv in the room was a flat screen, too bad every channel had static.
On the bright side, the motel staff (front desk and housekeeping) were very nice.
They probably never spent a night in room 114…

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Dirty on the outside and worse inside. Our towels were stained and the bedspread had blood on it, We asked for them to change linens and they brought up some sheets but asked us to change it ourselves. I tried calling the manager several times and he didn’t even have the decency to return our calls.
AWFUL PLACE!!!

We originally planned to stay 3 nights here, but the traffic noise from US 1 was so loud that we cancelled the last 2 nights and relocated down to the Quality Inn in Florida City, which was much better. It’s interesting that so many things didn’t work in the room: the room keycard, the TV clicker, the desklight, the Wi-Fi. On the positive side, we had a nice meal in the Italian restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

Quality Inn South is a great place to stay. We’ve been coming here for over 25 years.
There are nearby businesses for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Can’t decide on a place to eat? There’s a Publix right next door. Forgot face wash and a toothbrush? There’s a CVS right there as well. It’s all within walking distance, so leave your car in the hotel’s parking lot!
The rooms are clean with updated TVs, and the beds and pillows are the best. Pillows have plenty of stuffing in them. The pool area is a great place to hang out, have a cigar, or a snack. Plenty of vending machines to quench your thirst or fill your tummy as well. If you need more, there’s the hotel restaurant– Romano’s. Some rooms even have refrigerators and microwaves so you can munch on your leftovers later!
At the end of a busy day, it’s wonderful to come back to these rooms to get comfortable and rest up.

Ja was soll ich sagen es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt dort die leute alle äusserst nett und zuvorkomment es ist nicht weit vom Miami Beach und auch nur ein Katzensprung von den Everglades weg man kann von dort sehr schöné touren nach Key West machen und ist wirklich mitten in Miami
