Wow!!! I have never had such am awesome experience as I did with Mi Pueblito Viejo No #2. This place is the bomb. My waiter, Nicolas was on Point. The food, the liquor, was fast, and delicious. It was first time here and I definitely recommend it. Became one of my favorites. Give them a shot. You’ll love it.

I was recommended to this restaurant by multiple friends and family. Upon arrival, my wife and I were greeted by the owners who were extremely friendly and gracious to us. The décor was exciting and reminded us of a friendly neighborhood in Columbia. We helped ourselves to multiple appetizers, all of which were amazing. The chicharron(pork belly) was perfect; each bite crispy and flavorful. My wife ordered carne asada=10/10 I ordered churrasco=10/10 The beef was so tender and perfectly cooked. It only became better with accompanying chimichirri. We cannot recommended this restaurant enough! Everything about it was a great experience. Even the Argentinian Malbec bottle we ordered was great. It accompanied the meals perfectly! Go! Go! Go!

First time & probably the last. Got there before 7 pm for the Saturday Show with a party of 11+ we couldn’t make it inside. They do not take reservations, and do not allow you to sit if entire party isn’t present YET, while waiting to be seated hostess would everyone go in even if party wasn’t completed. Should have read the reviews here on Unilocal. Please DONOTGO after 7PM or pay for valet parking if your Are a party of 5+. You will NOTGETSEATED.

These are the best empanadas in Miami. To all the Colombian restaurants please take note. And yes 40% of the vote goes to the Aji.

Second time that i come here. Food is good and everything but man we couldnt even talk. Music was so loudddd. It was super annoying having to eat with my hears even hurting already. Extremely loud. We are here right now in fathers day in family and we cant even talk to each other cuz we need to screamm horrific. And also the lights. Come on it might b the theme of the restaurants. But ughhhh not just me but everyone in the restaurant were using cellphone flash light to look at the menu.

Awesome food, BUT the restaurant turns into a party on Fridays and Saturdays so if you want a quieter atmosphere avoid on the weekends. If you’re a sucker for Sancocho like me you can’t go wrong with that, and the Bandeja Paisa is amazing. I’ve had better empanadas at other locations though, so if that’s a favorite of yours you may be slightly bummed as I was.

The food is amazing! The service was beyond terrible. We went for a friends birthday with a group of 6 people. We got there around 7:30pm When we arrived we ordered our drinks which took longer than 10 min they had a mini show in the meantime and we still hadn’t ordered our food. The dishes were never cleared with the appetizers and the waiter never asked if we wanted refills. When the waiter finally arrive to see if we needed anything everything seemed like a bother to him. constantly looking at us with blank stares. Then when it came time for us to finally order our food. My boyfriend ordered me a churassco with rice and plaintains(he wasn’t going to eat, so it was just for me and he ordered another drink for himself) which seemed to complicated for him since he went on to ask us if we had ever been here before? questioning our orders. Another 30 – 35 min our food finally came. It’s 9:00pm by this time. And when they waiter came with our order he had came with two, TWO!! not one churassco steak. When we told the waiter we only ordered one he went on to fight with my boyfriend saying we ordered two(These steaks are $ 30 each) and the additional drink my boyfriend ordered never got there. when we asked anyone else in the table whether then wanted to share this enormous steak the couple next to us said they would take it since the waiter never asked them for their order! THEWAITERNEVERASKEDTHEMFORTHEIRORDER. Thankfully we didn’t need to pay for two churasscos last night. And lastly we had to separate our own checks because the restaurant doesn’t separate checks, which to me is appalling. we ended up leaving this place at 10:30pm because everything took so much time with our waiter. It just made the evening drag on and we wanted to leave as quickly as possible. This place could have been such a better experience and i have never had such terrible service, I will never go there again. I wish I can tell you the waiters name, but low and behold he never told us this name. And I gave no tip even though 15% gratuity was already included. stay away!

Uno de mis restaurantes Colombianos favoritos en Miami. Decoración unica y muy especial. Exagerada pero muy autoctona de la imagen y cultura Colombiana. La atención como siempre excelente

Food is good, but very overpriced compared to other Colombian restaurants. They also skimp you on the Bandeja Paisa since it doesn’t include chorizo, avocado, and you get more beans than meat. Overall, I had a good time. I just wish it wasn’t severely overpriced and I wish they’d tone it down on the décor. I jokingly said that it reminded me of Disney, and that was before I noticed the Snow White and Seven Dwarves hanging all over the place! Lol.

I’m always driving by this place and noticed it’s always packed, so I headed over there on a Sunday to give it a try. At first when I went in I didn’t know what to make of it, it is a highly-decorated place with deliberate low lighting. On a side you have a little dance floor with a jukebox, I didn’t get to see the jukebox up close so can’t say if it’s functioning or also part of the décor. I ordered the bandeja paisa which was large and generous, I only got to eat about half of it. The food was ok, our waiter was very nice and always attentive. The decoration and low light was just too much for me.

I had hen soup and it was ok but decoration was too dark for my taste. The server was very nice and the prices were ok.

I have a hate love relationship with this place. The food is good, over priced Colombian food, but good. Those Colombian carne empanadas are amazing! And make sure to have them with the spicy sauce it comes with! We order as well a «picada» which brings pork meat, chicharron, arepas, fried yuca, and ribs. It’s $ 29 but more than enough for 2 people! If you’re thinking of going on a Saturday night to enjoy the music and dance, make sure you get there like before 6 pm! It gets extremely packed and people don’t leave, they stay to see the shows, so the wait times can be up to more than 4 hours! On the downside, it’s extremely loud, you can’t even hear the person Infront of you, or the waiter! The service isn’t great, it’s a very fast paced location, so it’s understandable, but if you’re looking for amazing service you’re definitely not going to get it here. If you don’t care about the music and just want to go to eat, then lunch or Sunday nights would be a better option for you. More relaxed and less people! Aside from the noisiness, it’s a fun place to go have a good time with family and friends!

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed the food, ambience and folkloric décor. I had the«Pueblito Viejo» platter which is large enough to share with an 8 year old. It included red beans + rice, fried pork rinds, grilled skirt steak, fried sweet plantains, fried egg and arepa. Everything in this platter was perfectly prepared and delicious. I also tried their traditional apple flavored soda which was different in a good and tasty way. I completed my supper with a «capricho», an absolute overdose of sugar-layers of condensed and evaporated milk, topped with cream and almonds. YUM!!!

Lo visité con mi esposo e hijos y realmente no nos impresionó. Hemos visitado mejores. La comida en general no nos gustó mucho, la mùsica muy alta, el lugar, aunque típico, muy cargado que te abruma. El show estuvo simpático.

The food here is a solid 4 stars. It’s really delicious. The beef empanadas are perfect. The grilled chicken and breaded chicken breasts are thick and juicy. The breaded pork filet is super good too. Price is a little high($ 16 for breaded pork filet…$ 12.50 at La Cabana Paisa), but the plates are huge. My 3 star rating is based on a situation that happened right now. My boyfriend and I both ordered french fries and the waiter brings me boiled potatoes… I tell him nicely I did not order this and he replies«yes you did. He ordered french fries and you didn’t». Like HAAALLLLLLOOOOOOO are you retarded? Even if there was a chance I did mess up and ordered boiled potatoes you do not call me a liar and tell me I didn’t order it. Fucking suck it up and go get me my fries. That’s what customer service is about! Now for the record, I did in fact order french fries the waiter just has selective hearing(aka he was an asshole and also slammed the menus on the table). I’ve been here a few times already and have always received good service. Unfortunately, I was so turned off by this that I really don’t even want to return. There’s actually tons of good Colombian joints I rather give my money to.
