Premiere Banquet Hall & Ballrooms

I was in this place as a guest of a baby shower. The decoration was beautiful, clean and neat. The first thing that I noticed was the management, I’m a manager so of course service for me is number 1, specially if it comes from the manager. He was very rude and he treat my pregnant friend like she was nothing (after she paid for the local). Food arrived and everything seems to be good, the waitress aware us to be careful because the plate was hot. When I touch it I notice that food was cold. The menu was chicken, congri rice and yuca. Baby shower finish and we went home. I was feeling very sick, but I was thinking that I ate to late. Well I got a stomach bacteria that cause me nauseas and diarrhea. Not only me but my husband too. I called my friends to check if it was just us, but 90% of the guest got food poison. Chicken was cold and not property cooked!!! Avoid this place at all cost!!! I will write this comment to every review site because this is unacceptable !!! What kind of food you are serving, plus you are pricy too. Don’t ever get your party here, your entire guests can be sick after all. Is being 2 days and we still sick and this people isn’t responding. They just said it was impossible! I feel bad for my friend that she was expecting a nice party and everybody is sick in hospitals or resting in the house with a stomach ache! Not acceptable!

Première banquet hall and ASS is the same thing. I highly suggest you run the other way if you’re even considering these crooks to host your next event. Where do I start? Ok, well let’s start off by pointing out that the hobbit that sits in the front reception area is the nastiest person alive. She is rude and very impatient. She sells you dreams and hopes for a great price ! Go figure, nothing good ever comes a bogo. The day of the event the wrong bows were placed on the chair, the centerpiece was never placed, the asshole they call manager was extremely annoying and wanted to rush you through everything. He freaked out because we moved a table next to the candy bar. Anyways, as we’re sweating like pigs trying to set up with less than 15 minutes left he opens the doors. People start coming in and we’re rushing like chickens with our heads cut off. Everyone is sitting down, settling in and without half of the guests there the lovely inexperienced looking manager decides it’s time to toast? WTF I feel like were speed dating or something. So we comply and start the toast even though the host hasn’t arrived yet. Halfway with the cider down my throat they start passing out the salads on top of the utensils which are still nicely placed on the chargers !!! Great, I’ll chug my shitty cider down to catch the lettuce that’s falling down towards my nice dress. We eat the salad and as we’re eating, the food presentation comes out with some reggaeton music and some waiters that looked like they were picked up at Crandon park shortly after getting off the raft. LOL While this circus freak show is going on, I decide to go to the bar and ask for 2 drinks (I’m 6 months pregnant btw), the bartender looks at me with disgust and ponders on whether or not to give me the drink. Feeling absolutely insulted, I then state to him that is it against the law to deny a pregnant woman a drink. Regardless, if the drink was for me he had no right in doing that. Super unprofessional. So after the dinner and some games, I see the waiters running to get the cake and taking it to the back. I immediately chase after them like I’m in some marathon and demand them to put the cake back so I can take some pictures. They look at me like a deer in headlights and pouted their way back. The beautiful cake in which I ordered from someone I’ve ordered about 1000 cakes from is for more than 100 people, we had no more than 85. Guess what happens next? They run out of cake and the manager argues with me that the cake was not for 100 people and he cuts cakes everyday ! Congrats on cutting a cake everyday considering the banquet hall is only used Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. So I ignore him and go along to drink coffee from the little station they have there. As I’m drinking my best friends points out that there is lipstick on the mug. Can you say FUCKING DISGUSTING? I mean seriously you can’t make sure to wipe down the coffee mugs properly … Ridiculous ! The party is ending, the music lasted 20 minutes and I feel like we’ve been in the twilight zone for the 4 hours of the event. I’m pretty sure Ashton kutcher was behind this punked episode. When we get home I realize that they never gave us back the items from the cake back, one of which has a lot of sentimental value to me from my previous baby showers. I called yesterday to try and retrieve them back and no one ever called back and now it looks like they are ignoring me !! All I can say is if you’re thinking about booking your event with these people, think long and hard. I think you have a way better chance of having a successful event at Burger King where you can have it your way!
Update: After setting my phone and three other relatives phones on redial with their number we FINALLY got a hold of them and I was able to retrieve one item from the cake. I had my mother in law pick it for me since I had school, they made her sign this piece of paper saying she picked up the pin from the cake and they threatened her with lawyers due to my Unilocal review. Im happy i was able to retrieve my pin back, but wheres the huge eiffel tower from the top of the cake ??? Silly fool behind the desk, haven’t you heard about something called freedom of speech? They also harassed my cousin by calling her non-​stop not having any regard, consideration, or respect knowing that we have a dying family member in hospice care that we almost cancelled the party for. These people are definitely not worth my time or yours!!!

Just had our baby shower at this hall yesterday and wanted to make sure I submitted this review while things were still fresh in my mind. Starting off with the manager who was present and hands-​on throughout our whole event, Javier. This gentleman was extremely helpful and caring… he helped me make some last minute changes to floral centerpieces I’d taken and was just overall outstanding! Everything I asked him for or about he was quick to help me and always with a smile on his face. Even at the end of our event he asked me if I wanted to take some of the leftovers and packaged it all for me to take home. .as well as the remainder of the yummy cake! The master of ceremony, Clara was extremely helpful as well. We had opted not to hire a photographer and she asked me if I wanted her to take pictures and she’d later email them to me. She went above and beyond her job duties as MC and even kept bringing my husband and I any beverages we wanted when she saw our drinks were nearly finished. The bartender, Guillermo was hands doen the best bartender around. No lines for drinks and he never told any of our guests he’d run out of anything! I heard the drinks were nice & stiff… as everyone wanted them! The waiter, Sandy was also very quick and courteous to our guests. The DJ, Alex was on point with the music he played and got all our guests up and dancing as well! Let’s not forget about the dreaded banquet hall catered food… ours was AMAZING!!! We chose moros (blacks beans cooked with rice), boliche (pot roast) & sliced potatoes with parsley & olive oil. We were very pleasantly surprised to get piping hot food that looked and tasted more like we’d gone to our fave Cuban restaurant than a banquet hall event… needless to say, our guests kept mentioning how yummy the food was as well! Last but not least, the cake. This hall works with Tina’s cakes and I must say they have a new client in me as well… the cake was absolutely amazing and delicious! Most cakes are either pretty or tastey… Tina’s was able to pull off both. In closing, I was skeptical to visit this banquet hall after reading a negative review on here but I honestly feel that the reviewer was either having a very bad personal day or they just wanted to make derogatory remarks for free… we have no complaints at all about our party & are most definitely planning on coming back for future parties here! Thank you to everyone at Première Banquet Hall for making our baby shower an experience we won’t soon forget!!!

Too bad I cannot give this ZERO stars!!! This is the absolute worse place to have your wedding. DONT DO IT, no matter how nice or sweet they seem. At the end of the day your interest is their last priority. Everything seems nice and dandy as they are getting paid but once your day comes it don’t they don’t care.
I had my wedding there and if there is anything I regret more in this world is having it there. They sold me but the day of was miserable. Not only that but two days before the wedding they stressed me out in such a way.
Let’s start my wedding was of 125 guest they knew that right away because I had to sign a contract. Well I told them I would have the ceremony there also again that was in the contract. How about three days before my wedding one of their employee’s tells my sister oh no we cannot fit 125 guest in the ceremony room. I never heard it but then everyone started panicking so when it is brought up to me I tell the manager. YOu want to know her response oh no but not everyone shows up for the ceremony. HELLO lady what world do you live on those are the people that RSVP. OK I dealt with that. Mind you they took my money without telling me this.
Then the day before they tell me that they do not put the thank yougifts that I bought. They said they don’t do that so I had to figure out who the hell was going to do that. Mind you they were to take care of all decorations per contract.
The roof of the salon was to be covered with white linens. They charged me extra gues what didn’t happen. They never did it. Now the day of the wedding you smile and act like nothing is wrong because it is a one and only. BUT it was horrible inside for me because I expected it to be beautiful. Not one guest notice but the bride always has it inside of her.
The DJ HORRIBLE. I pay the guy extra and I made the cd myself he had to do nothing for an entrance video I wanted people to watch. Guess what nothing. He never played. My hubby and I spent hours editing the video to be perfect. Not only that I had to chase him to meet with me although I paid for his services. For my ceremony music and wedding music I had to make the music and tell him mark by mark when to stop and when to keep playing. Absolutely horrible
Cake people which were Elite were amazing. They did the cake exactly like I want it. But get this when it came to serve the cake the waiters at Première see people dancing well they served the cake 15 minutes later they picked it up and took it away. Really!!! People are dancing!!! So many people didn’t get to try the cake.
Oh wait there’s more the master of ceremony Frank absolutely horrible also. The guy the day of decides to tell me someone else is going to be master at the reception. SERIOUSLY??? Then that guy who named himself Frank for the evenign was rushing us the whole night because according to him he had somewhere else to be. SERIOUSLYY??? WOW this place is horrible. I am telling you don’t do it.
They should be out of business. If I could curse on this I swear I would because they are that bad. I mean horrible. Anyone you know that is going here tell them to avoid it. This place should seriously be out of business.
Oh btw they change people all the time but the two best GRAMMY AWARDS for best ACTRESS should go to Janina and MOnica. Let me tell you these two give a new meaning to MIAMI scam Artists. You guys did an amazing job.
Oh the owner is an Argentinan guy who can’t speak squat of English but runs a business in the states the guy can care less as long as he is getting paid. He doesn’t care about what is going on.
NEVER again. Due to him I don’t do business with people like him seriously just because he left me traumatized… SO SAD!!! This place is horrible I am telling you don’t step a foot here!!!
