Precision Personal Training

I did a lot of research before I picked a gym and it was worth it! Precision has a great atmosphere where everyone is striving to reach their own personal goals. I signed up for PT with Sonya 2 times a week and also for the women’s semi-​private training and they are the highlight of my week!

Love PPT! Sonja is one of the trainers for women’s semi-​private who will get your body to transform and build up your endurance. I started with a two month Groupon and saw great results that I continued my classes. She is awesome! The groups are small, which is great for one on one questions and the trainers focus on making sure you have proper form. My favorite part of the semi-​private is how the trainers mix in weight machines, free weights, body weight, and cardio. Keeps the class interesting.

I just left Precision Personal Training. As a matter of fact, I SHOULD be in a semi private training session right now. I booked a complimentary class to check it out as I was looking for a gym for myself and my 3 kids. I was so excited to go! I arrived early as directed to fill out paperwork. No one was in the lobby, so I waited. This was at 8:30 and my class started at 9. At 8:45 I was still waiting for someone to come to the lobby, despite the fact that some of the trainers could see me through the glass. Finally, a young man came out, but he ignored me. I told him that I was there early to fill out paperwork and he gave me a paper to fill out. As I worked on it, several people who worked there came out and I attempted to engage them in conversation. My attempts were not welcome. Having completed the form, I put it on the counter and took a seat. A few other women began arriving, and then the trainer Sonia walked in. (I recognized her from her photo online.) The other women got up and walked to the back with her. She did not pick up my paperwork. No one alerted her to my existence. The other women came back out, apparently there was some confusion about where they were all supposed to be meeting. There was a young guy with glasses who seemed to understand my confusion and looked like he wanted to help but wasn’t sure how. At that point I just got up and left. I am so disappointed in my experience. I went there genuinely wanting to work out and to sign up, but I see it this way. If the staff can not make me feel even slightly welcome and comfortable in the lobby on my first visit, how am I supposed to trust them to make me feel welcome and comfortable in a training session? I don’t know about you, but my first time at a new gym, I expect the staff to understand that I may be a little uncomfortable. They should make at least some effort to ease that. Perhaps by at least saying hello.
UPDATE: Regarding the response from Marlon below… While I appreciate you reaching out to me after I emailed you with my comments about my visit, I would like to point out that I was NOT greeted as you stated. I had to ask for help, and I did that at about 8:45. (The only reason I got there as early as I did was because I drove for half an hour to get there and did not want traffic to make me late. I also had wanted to discuss signing my kids up for classes.) I had to ask for help, because the guy who came out didn’t even acknowledge me. Also, I was NOT escorted to the back to meet you. I have NEVER met you. We have corresponded only via email and then phone today. Also, it turns out that the trainer that was assigned to me was not Sonia as I had thought. It was Sebastian, who was standing right there in the lobby. As I told Marlon, he should have introduced himself, or at least said hello. I would then have felt more comfortable, and not like I was just in the way. Let me be clear… this is not a vendetta against the company. I am sure they are perfectly nice people. Marlon called me today to apologize and even offered me a month of free classes to show that they wanted to make it right. As I told him, I am declining his offer because it would be easy to be nice to me now. I feel that the truth about the staff is shown when the boss is NOT watching. That is what I saw this morning. He assures me that it was just «a perfect storm» and that he has never had a complaint in 15 years. Maybe not. But I find it difficult to believe that all of his staff lost their ability to say the word «hello» on the same morning. So. now he has his «first» complaint.

I have never gotten a better workout! I have to say Precision was an awesome experience. The trainer Sonia was wonderful, knowledgeable and supportive. The workouts were intense! I’m sorry I had to stop going because my office moved far from the gym. I would highly recommend the women’s semi private training.

this place is absolutely great. I bought a groupon for women’s semi private classes and was so surprised that it wasn’t overly saturated. the trainers have been great and motivational. the people you are working out with are courteous and nice. it really has been a positive experience and I’m really glad I did it.

I am 9 years old and I like doing the group fitness classes. They make them really fun like you aren’t even doing a workout. But you get a good workout. I leave sweating. I LOVE playing dodgeball.

Marlon kicked my ass! I HATE him! Hate him like «I want to punch you in ur face and stand there to watch you absorb the force» kinda hate.
That being said, I gave this place 5 stars because having your body look and feel the way you want it is a big… huuge deal. Marlon knows this and that is why he pushes you so god damn hard, ugh. He helped a man lose 200lbs, or was it 150lbs… I forget but it was a shit ton, enough to amaze me.
The studio is quite nice. It has a dance room with wood floors and mirrors all around, a private pilates room (so you dont embarrass urself while you struggle with the workout) a large clean workout area with free weights and machines, and get this. a little workout area with machines specifically designed for kiddies. no, I don’t have any (too irresponsible for the moment.).
Anyway, when I came here I specifically told Marlon «Listen G. I need a fat ass» (as you can see, my last name is Fung. therefore I have (had) a flat ass). Lord help me for I had not known what I was about to recieve. He proceeded to bestow upon me the ass kicking of the year. yes, maybe the decade.
Fast forward the struggle to now. I have incoorporated the exercises Marlon showed me into my normal routine and I must say. desirable results. Pics provided. no shit talker here. I think my life has new meaning to it. Stacked, better yet Brick House. that is the new meaning. Thank you Marlon. For being a grade A twat.
BTW. his wife is hot! She looks like she could be my sister. (Yes, that was definately a compliment aimed towards me. did you see my pic?)
