Port of Miami Cruise Parking

Terrible parking experience. My boyfriend booked with them based on obviously bogus Google reviews. It took over an hour to park the car and over an hour to be picked up on the way back. Customer service was none existing. Lot was small and far from the port. Everyone was upset and screaming. There is only one shuttle which is simply not enough when there is entire boat unloading. Do not book! Stay away!

This place is the most disorganized off site cruise port lot we have ever used. When we arrived we we had to wait in inside our car in a line of probably 80 cars for an hour and a half out just to get into the lot. Then another hour and a half in the rain with our luggage for the line to board the shuttle. We saw others calling taxis and wished we had after getting soaked. Then another 20 minutes to get to the cruise terminal. Why did we expect different. Picking up the car was worse. We hand carried our luggage so we could be among those first off the ship at 745am. Waited about an hour for shuttle to pick us up there was no line and people arriving jumped on ahead of us. Once arriving at the lot we had another 2 hour wait in the hot sun to get our car. The lot had been over sold so much that the cars were parked in lots miles away. Needless to say, there very many angry patrons on both ends of the trip. My family and I have cruised many, many times. We have been out of all the Florida ports and never experienced anything like this. Be careful with online booking companies like Premier. My mother in law used them and wound up in his lot. We will probably avoid Cruising from Miami after this experience

Even though the Unilocal comments were negative, we decided to check it out for ourselves. The staff was very friendly and helped us get to our port in time to depart. I recommend you try for yourselves.

This place is okay, nothing special. You have to leave your key with them, so keep that in mind if that’s an issue for you. This isn’t the place to come to if you’re impatient. the process of getting into the lot is very disorganized. It’s kind of get-​in-​where-​you-​fit-​in. The staff is courteous, though, so that’s a plus. Just be prepared to wait outdoors if you come here.

This place was on a list of cruise parking alternatives. It mentioned that it was garage parking. On the review it said it was Premier Parking, but the only signage is a big «8300» and no garage (just fenced in parking). Apparently, 8300 is like the name they go by.
The price is good, but this place is pretty disorganized with only a few small buses to shuttle people the 15 — 20 min drive. If you’re in a hurry, this is not the place to go. From the time we pulled in until we left was over ½ hour.
When I got off the cruise ship, I called the number a few times before someone finally picked up and explained where the shuttle was. Overall we waited about 15 min to get on the shuttle, which wasn’t that bad once we knew what was going on.

One of the worse companies in the world! I reserved online. Got to the parking facility and was told that we had to pay an additional $ 7 per person because Première Parking hadn’t paid them in several months. I could not believe it. So we had to do it because I didn’t want to miss my cruise. The people at the parking facility were nice and helpful. My only bad experience with them was the transportation van. Although, the air is on, there was barely any air in the vehicle. We were drench in sweat. How can you have a non-​working A/​C in Miami! It wasn’t just the van that drove us over there but also the van that picked us up had the same issue. We didn’t have to wait long to get picked up, thankfully. But these two companies need major improvement. So if you can find parking somewhere else, DO IT!!! You will thank me later!

Pretty much on par with other reviews; however we didn’t have to wait near as long as the other Unilocalers have noted.
Long and short of it:
— car was damaged while on site. Initially argued that the damage was already there but as it was not on the claim ticket, they folded quickly and documented the damage so the damage can be repaired.

Don’t be in a rush and come here. Shuttle is shared with other ships docking. Not enough shuttles., which means you have to wait.
Plus it’s not that close to the port.
Poor system of order when ppl arrive add on to the ppl waiting for shuttles. No line, just a clump of ppl waiting and fighting to get on.
Staff courteous but could use more.

We waited in line for 45 minutes and hadn’t moved on December 7. We arrived at 11:15 at the lot and was directed to a six block long line. By Noon, we left our space in line and went to the pier. Just blocked payment for this service with my CC company. They are not in a position to deliver on their promise or contract. Do not use this company despite the lure of a very good daily rate.

We had a reservation for 10am to leave our car and get a shuttle to the port. We arrived at 9:45am and were shocked and disappointed, there was a huge line of cars waiting to get into the lot. We didn’t get in and on a shuttle until after noon.
When we were leaving the port we saw a shuttle bus for the lot pull up and then drive away without picking up passengers. We had to wait until a different bus arrived 30 minutes later. Once we were on it, the driver circled back around to a different ship he had passed to get to us. So we had to wait another 30 minutes to actually get moving toward the lot.
Online, the lot is advertised as a mile from the port. It is several miles away and travel time from lot to port is longer than expected. That and the fact that our 10am appointment was useless made me wish I hadn’t spent the money there. Several cars who were in line to park at the start of the cruise just left, and at least two of them had paid reservations so they just lost their money. I had spoken with them while we were in line so I know they had already paid.
I would not use Premier again, the location was wrong and the appointment was useless. I’ve used other similar lots in other cities and never had these problems.

If I could post a negative, I would! We prepaid and arrived at 1215 for what we thought was an easy drop off. We were directed to follow the line that we sat in for 1 hour just to drop off our car. Next, we were told to go inside and wait for a complimentary shuttle to the port. Some people were loaded onto the shuttle out of line and that’s when the riot started. We called a cab and snuck out to not get bum rushed. $ 30 later we got to the pier!
Knowing the easiest way back is to retrace your steps, so we caught a $ 30 cab back to the lot. We were promised our car would be in an enclosed safe lot. We’re not sure where our car went, but it was driven 40 miles and almost out of gas when we picked it up. A gas station was no more than 100 yards away and we barely made it! I will NOT EVER recommend them to anyone!!!

Very courteous staff and clean facility. Waited zero minutes to. go to.the port of Miami but. the return had a 45. minute wait after our phone call as directed. Overall great price. and fine safe service. Seems they. changed transportation provider while we were on the ship and there was mass confusion and concern at the pickup point. It did however turn out okay and we would. use Premier again as well as recommend their company. The staff also assists with luggage.

Absolutely the worst parking experience ever, don’t do it — you’ll be sorry!!!
It took an hour and a half to park upon arrival. If we hadn’t prepaid we would have left at that time. We almost missed the window for embarkation.
To add insult to injury, upon returning home — they stopped at a downtown lot and without saying a word started taking luggage off. It was the WRONG lot. With no apologies we were shuffled back on the shuttle.
When we arrived at the correct lot we waited another 45 minutes for the car to be brought around. My advice, be smart and pay the $ 20 per day to park @ the cruise ship terminal. You’ll be glad you did. If not, buyer beware — horrible and stressful experience awaits at Premier Parking!

I’ll give a mid rating since it wasn’t a completely bad experience. To start (like everyone else experienced) there was about a 1.5 hour wait in line BEFORE we dropped my truck off, (have enough gas or run out in line) then another 30ish minutes before we boarded the bus to the port. The 1^st bus was an old (or current) party shuttle that should be retired. I’ll let your imagination run free. Once we came back from the cruise it wasn’t clear where we were supposed to catch our shuttle as 3 KSA tours vehicles never stopped. We eventually found 1 to get on & made our way back to the lot. Our pickup process went smooth, my truck was not damaged & the mileage was the same. I HIGHLY recommend arriving to park AT LEAST 2.5 hours before you have to board your cruise if you want to make it on time without rushing. NO JOKE!

This is my first 1 star review i give in Unilocal

Parking at the cruise terminal is $ 20 per day. For a 7 night cruise it would be 8 days at $ 160! Instead we went here for $ 6.99 a day and saved one HUNDRED dollars! It isn’t a fancy facility and we waited in line behind other cars for about 15 minutes on a side street then we waited in line for about 40 minutes for the shuttle, then it shuttled us and dropped us off at the door of the terminal. I’ll admit is was slow getting picked up as well, we waited over an hour after our cruise so if you are running short on time coming or going I wouldn’t advise it but if you have time and want to save money it is fine. We were in no hurry and had no problems.

No, no, a thousand times no. Park anywhere else or take a cab or limo. Waited 20 minutes to get into the lot and another 90 minutes for the shuttle bus. Not worth the savings. Not a good way to begin a cruise vacation.
UPDATE: Trip back from the port was much better.

Picked this lot because it was inexpensive and offered free shuttle service to and from the Port of Miami. Arriving about 15 minutes past our reservation time, we still ended up having to wait about an hour till they took us to the port. They messed up the reservations and there weren’t enough seats on the shuttle leaving several people to have to stand.
The pick-​up after the cruise was the real problem. Waited an hour to be picked up, with the identification sticker on every member of my party, as directed. After an hour I called the customer service number and was told that someone was on their way and would be there in about 20 minutes. In about 30 minutes a KSA tour bus (I assume the sub-​contractor Premier uses to do their shuttling), passed us by. When another one passed us, I was able to flag it down and was told a different shuttle would get us soon. After waiting a total of about an hour and a half, I split a cab with another stranded customer, costing us $ 26.
At the parking lot, there was nobody to be found and we literally had to search all over the property, ending up in a large service garage in back, before finding one lonely guy who eventually got us our vehicles.

The worst place ever!!! Do not park here. It is a scam. DO NOT PARK HERE!!!
First off, they have changed locations to (according to the police after we had to file a report) «the worst area of town in Miami». They say their next to a sheriffs office, which again, the police thought was hilarious because it is under construction and not open and hasn’t been.
So, it took us over two hours to finally get to the port, it was so disorganized. There were cars everywhere and no one organizing the chaos. Then you had to wait until everyone else loaded the bus to finally leave.
Once we returned, they claim that shuttles are operating every 25 minutes. Well, that’s only if the shuttle is full. They won’t leave until they pick up all their customers. So it doesn’t matter if you get off early or not. You’re waiting for everyone else.
And lastly. THEY HIT OUR CAR!!!
Obviously they denied everything and wouldn’t even talk to me. So I called the cops, and they said that we should have never stayed at this place and they are horrible. Well, too late for that.
And that the company knows in Dade county that this is considered a «civil suit» and we can’t press charges unless it’s criminal in Dade county. So they don’t care because they know no one will come back and sue them.
I’m still not sure if I will sue them, but I will definitely write them up everywhere possible and contact the better business bureau.
DO NOT STAY HERE. STAY AT THE PORT, it’ll be quicker, and yes, may cost more, but the cops said they would be able to do something if our car was damaged on their property.
Oh, and all the pictures of a nice facility and clean transport shuttle and nice staff?!? Hahahahaha. Lies. All lies. None of those are actually what you are going to get. I promise you.

A REAL HORRIBLE PLACE TO PARK, RUN DON’T WALK TO PARK HERE. First as we entered they directed us to a side street, it took an hour to let us enter to park about 5 cars after we entered the manager shouted CLOSE THE F***EN GATES NO MORE !!! «DON’T CARE IF THEY f****n PAID. They took our keys one the ship I heard that they lost 40 keys but found them in a trunk, later. Going back we were 6 places from the from to get our car it took another hour, there were 30 people behind us. Last summer I used they lot it was great, fast in, park the car, then out in less than 5 minutes to leave. The shuttle was good but DON’T EVEN PARK HERE, if you are running late, I do not know how a business can go from great to terrible in just 3 months.
