For me this Popeyes stuck out because the ladies working in the morning seemed really cool and nice.

I’m not a frequenter of fast food chains or chains in general, the exception being Popeyes. I’m such a fan that I own a Popeyes T shirt and I can assure you at the time of purchase they were not easy to find. Their chicken is everything you want in fried chicken… hot, easily accessible, perfectly cooked and seasoned, extremely crunchy and moist, and cheap(shame on places like Yardbird for charging $ 25+ for fried chicken). The only problem with Popeyes in Miami are they do not carry the Cajun Sparkle spice packets found in most Popeyes. Like the biscuits and love the generic dirty rice and mashed potatoes(mix them together… trust me).

As soon as i walked in me and my girlfriend received excellent customer service. We were confused about an offer the marlins had made with popeyes and they offered anyway to help. Great crew and the food was delicious! Will go back whenever im in the area! :)

The customer service sucks they don’t ever have anything and they always have an attitude. Plus it tastes like they fried their pies in the same grease they fry their chicken in. Avoid at all costs!

Oh yeah! Popeye’s knows how to make fried chicken and GOOD! And their melt in your mouth, buttery, flaky biscuits… couldn’t believe this was fast food. The Colonel’s chicken can’t compare(except maybe their slaw, I do like KFC’s slaw just a bit more). Can’t have this too often though as it is pure SIN. Came here for lunch recently on a weekday and there were just a few people eating in and ordering at the drive thru. The dining area, bathroom, and exterior of the restaurant were very clean on this visit. I could tell the management is working on the customer service. You are greeted as soon as you come in through the door by the cashier, which is a nice touch,(maybe too much as this is a fast food establishment) and as you leave the cashier acknowledges you again and gives her thanks and are asked to come again in a very charming, southern way. The only drawback is that this restaurant is located in a somewhat sketchy shopping plaza but seems to be relatively safe in the day time. I will be having lunch(maybe take out) here again sometime in the near future.

Popeye’s would have easily been a 5 star except the staff was scary and the area where the fast food chain was located. I went thru the drive-thru and could barely understand the woman on the speaker… I was ‘ordered’ to order at the window. Then she barked at me to choose between mild or spicy. I obediently and politely answered her, paid, thanked her and left. Strangely, there was an option for tip when I signed for my credit card. Hmm… If not for the insatiable mouth-watering fried chicken and buttery biscuit fix I need once in a while, I would probably not go here. Tip-bits: Know what you want when you order… at the drive through

I’d give Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken 4 stars if it weren’t for the fact that I feared for my life the last time I went through their drive-thru. They have bars on the windows, people. But inside they have those sweet, buttery biscuits and fried chicken. I must admit that I can count the number of times I’ve been here in my life on one hand… two fingers, really. And it was always good in that really bad for you sort of way.
