Kal A.

Business Owner

Kal Marshall was born in New York and began studying piano and then added cello in elementary school. His entire family is gifted musically with everyone playing multiple instruments. His love of classical music started early because it was either being played on the radio or performed at home by his siblings. Kal’s vast knowledge of the piano, violin, and cello repertoire helps his students have fun playing because there is no shortage of wonderful selections to play.

When Kal was in high school, piano performance was always paramount. Weekly, traditional piano lessons continued throughout college. In addition, Kal studied cello with Nellis DeLay-​Harvout, principal cellist of the New York City Ballet Orchestra and sister of the world renown and distinguished Julliard school of Music violin instructor Dorothy DeLay.
