It was great coming to a Payless where the employees were so eager to help(and on the tax free weekend, too!). The young man behind the register overheard me telling my daughter we’d have to find out her new shoe size, and quickly brought out the shoe measuring device. Then, he asked her what type of stickers she’d like and gave her 4. It was a nice change from other locations where the employees rudely tsk-tsk at you for interrupting their conversation and never offer the kids anything. We quickly made a choice from the sneakers on sale and found a pair both my daughter and I liked(the black ones with rainbow stitching in the photos). I asked if I could use my coupon, which was on my phone’s screen, and he said«absolutely». How pleasant to have a helpful and positive employee. The store is a decent size, not the biggest or smallest I have seen, but sometimes, it’s the employees that«make» a store, not its merchandise.
