Paws In Motion

Absolutely amazing place!
We originally wanted a puppy to get into agility with, so after some basic obedience courses we were referred by our trainer to Paws In Motion to begin training for agility.
I gave Tracy, the owner, a call and gave her a background history on our 10mo old Sheltie and where we hoped to be with him in the future. Aside from doing agility for fun, we also really wanted to add some titles to his name. Tracy recommended we try a 6-​week a Sports Sampler course to see which sports we liked and which ones our dog liked. Although we were set on starting foundations for agility, we signed up for the course and hoped for the best.
My boyfriend, my dog, and I all really look forward to this class every week with Shayla. She is an awesome trainer and is so sweet with our Archer. Every week we try a different dog sport, from rally to agility to treiball to tricks and balancing. The class is really fun and the hour goes by so quickly!
I’m glad we took the sampler course after all, and will begin agility foundation as planned once this course is through. Hopefully Shayla will be teaching that as well!

Jen S recommended Paws in Motion to me for some fun and games with my pup Raj C. I didn’t think that we would master the world of Agility (due to my pup’s personality) but I thought it would be fun to check out, nonetheless. We came into the 6 week Fundamentals of Agility class and the fun began. In the first class, I realized that Raj C was not going to «master agility», but I was just impressed when he laid down on command in class. The classes and instruction were well planned out and it was super fun to watch all of the dogs in the class learn and grow as the six weeks rolled along. As we came into class for the day, the instructor went over all of the basics for the activities we would tackle that day. Then we broke into smaller groups, to work one on one with our dogs. I really liked this method, since we were able to practice as a group with the instructor walking around and observing us, then had one on one time with our dogs. Throughout the class Tracy would walk around and observe and offer advice.
Throughout the course, we both learned and had a great time, which was exactly what I wanted to get out of the class. I could see that those owners with pups who were quite motivated were able to grow leaps and bounds (pun intended) and were so much fun to watch during class.
It’s a great way to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. After each class, you have activities to work on during the week, which just increase the quality time with you and your dog. I highly recommend Paws in Motion if you are looking for a fun activity to for you and your dog.

Wonderful, large warehouse space to get your dog trained. They have everything from puppy to agility and advanced training classes. All classes are reasonably priced too!
