As a veterinarian, I feel one of my most important responsibilities is to educate and help owners understand their relationship with their pets as a family member, help cure my patient’s illnesses and provide support when grieving is the only outcome. I have had many pets of my own over the years and each one has been special to me. They have been constant companions throughout all the changes and milestones in my life. I know what it is like to love and lose a special friend and I would not trade any of the moments I had with them.
