Bummer… I was craving a breakfast taco, but the truck/trailer was nowhere to be found.

So I looked for this place at Douglas Park on Sunday but couldn’t find it. Anyone know if it still exists?

My husband and I are from San Diego, and we were staying in Miami beach for our vacation and we were craving for some TJ tacos. so we looked it up and found Orale. it was a little bit of a drive from miami beach about 15 mins away i. but it was well worth it!!! we did get a little lost because it was a taco truck and they were parked in a gas station. what got us lost was… we were on 27th st looking for 17th’s and there’s no 17th st on 27th. so you had to be on 17th street going up to 27th. i don’t know its very confusing! well i guess cause we didn’t pay attention to south west, north west. it’s north west 17th st and south west 27th ave so pay attention to that and you will have no problem! anyways… the tacos here are Amazing! and the hot sauce was firing!!! usually hot sause is never hot enough. man… a little of their stuff goes a long way… loved the hot sauce! oh… and you’ll kinda feel like your in a different country so. lock all your doors and hang on to your purse! hahah =)

AKA miami’s taco truck, but really, it’s just a «taco cart» during the weekdays, find it at– Tues to Fri: NW17th St &NW27th Ave, located in the gas station Sat & Sun: SW28th St &SW37th Ave(Douglas Park parking lot) 11am to 7pm; 305.970.0270, 786.290.7308 as per Thrillist still $ 2.50 per taco, which i find a little expensive packaged tortilla heated on a portable stove white board menu, meat selection is great tried the al pastor, barbacoa, and carne asada, and actually liked the last one the best my friend liked the carnitas de cerdo over the chorizo and barbacoa definitely the best part of the taco is the very fresh cilantro/pico de gallo/lime toppings jarritos drinks $ 1.50

Yes, Orale is still open. Is there during the weekends and not sure where during the week. but anyway, I just up load a picture with the phone number. Good tacos, good orchata, Good quesadilla. Really nice people. Not very expensive. And is the best place to go to cure a hangover(FYI, they don’t sell alcohol! I said cure) Buen provecho!

The best tacos I have ever had in Miami! I tried the carnitas and al pastore and they were delicious and simple. The medium salsa is so fresh and complements the tacos. I’ll be back again and again!

Had been searching high and low, down to homestead and up to broward, for a good taco in South Florida, and it turns out it was sitting just down the road next to Coral Gables the whole time. This is the real deal – authentic street meat as prepared in California, Chicago and all across the great nation of Mexico. Tacos are meat on a tortilla(add onions and cilantro, pico de gallo, radishes and lime) just as they should be, no BS. And since that is basically what they serve you can be sure they will be good. The al pastor is not skewered here unfortunately, but is served caribbean-style with pineapple and totally hits the spot. The carnitas is also very delicious. Stand and eat or load up with three delicious spicy salsas and take them home. I’ve been too busy stuffing my face to find out the hours of operation, but it has been conspicuously absent on several weekdays I’ve been by.

this lil’ taqueria cart gets 5 stars because it was exactly what i needed to ease my hangover and make me feel warm and fuzzy enough to lay in bed all afternoon. i didn’t actually go to the cart as i was suffering from the night before, but my fellow hung friend went and reported back that the cart was awesome. when the stuffed bag arrived with wrapped goodies, i was foaming at the mouth and ready to eat in bed… yes, this particular afternoon i would not be venturing out into the world(and not b/c of food poisoning). i had two steak tacos and a chicken quesadilla(really good). the pico de gallo, guacamole, and verde mediana picante was ONPOINT. fresh, light ingredients and the picante had the right bite. for two peeps it cost $ 21 for: 4 tacos, 2 quesadillas, all the condiments, and two pina jarritos(YUM).

Located in front of the parking lot of Douglas Park, this Mexican taqueria, in a form of a trailer pulled by a truck, serves just the basics. But it is obvious that it is popular as there always seem to be a line to get the tacos. They have the tacos for $ 2.50 in flavors typical to Mexican tastes such as the barbacoa, lengua de res, tripas, carne asada, pollo and a few other offerings. They also have a chicken quesadilla for $ 4. They wouldn’t change it for beef because the line was long and they get the food out as fast as possible — meaning they try to minimize the amount of preparation needed before cooking so food is usually already prepared to be cooked if they haven’t been cooked yet. Regardless of my desire for made-by-scratch, freshly made goods, they met my minimum standards for Miami as the tortillas tasted fresh and doughy and they had the toppings typical of Mexican taqueria cuisine(carrots, jalapenos, pico de gallo, etc) available for your taking. I had the quesadilla and it came in a good size, probably equal in size to two tacos. In this area, this probably is the most authentic Mexican to be had in Miami, but don’t come here looking for fajitas, chimichangas or anything like that. This isn’t a full scale restaurant. Note: After you get your food from the trailer, you go to the back of the truck to pay a woman in cash for the food and drinks(you get your drinks from the truck, not the trailer). The two guys in the trailer are too busy cooking to deal with cash-handling.
