Specialties
There’s only one healthcare system in South Florida exclusively for children.
When your pediatrician’s office is closed and your child needs medical treatment, we offer the comfort of walk-in urgent care service with no appointment needed.
With a typically lower co-pay than an emergency room, the Urgent Care Center at Miami Children’s Hospital West Kendall Outpatient Center offers personalized and prompt care for babies, children and adolescents up to 21 years of age.
The following is a list of some conditions which may be treated in an urgent care setting:
Allergies
Asthma attacks (minor)
Burns (minor)
Bruises, cuts, wounds and lacerations (including stitches)
Colds, coughs, and sore throats
Dog/animal bites (mild to moderate severity)
Earaches and ear infections
Fever in children more than 2 months old
Minor head injuries (without loss of consciousness)
Nausea
Pink eye
Rash

Why should I visit an Urgent Care Center?
For the times when your kids need medical treatment but it is after your pediatrician’s office hours — there are MCH Children’s Urgent Care Centers. Our pediatric urgent care centers are not intended for emergencies, but they are appropriate for minor, non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. We treat children up to 21 years of age at all of our urgent care clinic locations.
