New Image Salon

I had a groupon for this salon and made an appointment. I’m from up north and this felt like what I consider a «normal» salon — no crazy trendy business going on here. Just a nicely decorated place with real friendly people. An oasis in Miami to say the least. Anthony cut my hair and did a great job. I enjoyed our conversation as well. This will be my go-​to salon from now on. I was also given the option of buying another groupon directly from the salon at the end of my appointment. Also, I have long hair about 4 inches below the top of my shoulder and the woman behind the counter said she wouldn’t charge me the long hair fee, which I appreciated. I also really liked the blonde hair shampoo and conditioner that Anthony used. I would have bought it but it was a little pricy for me.

I loved this place, Anthony was a dream to work with, really paid attention to what I asked for and delivered 110%. Everyone came up and said hello, introduced themselves and shook my hand. It sounds silly, but it’s rare to find someone who will take initiative to say hello and shake your hand. The stylists were all taking their time, not rushing through appointments and the whole time I was there (about 3 hours) everyone seemed happy with everything. I got a cut, shampoo, color, highlights and conditioning treatment w a style and Blowdry and I already made my next appointment for 6 weeks from now. I finally found my salon!

I saw the negative reviews of this place after I made my appointment at this salon via Voice Daily Deals, and for a bit, I was nervous. But, I walk in, and this place is cute and friendly. The staff greets you with a smile that feels genuine. My appointment was with anthony and he was a sweetheart. He did exactly what I wanted done with my hair and was pleasant at every point of the process. The original owner stopped by during my styling and she was so sweet. I will be going back again and we shall see if I become a regular!

Wow, so unhappy with this Salon. They up-​charged me $ 30 for long hair and didn’t tell me until I was on the chair only hours before an event I had to attend — what?!? — that is amount was completely unreasonable and unacceptable. What a missed opportunity to convert me into a regular customer. What a shady business!

I feel so special here… service here is great… I get my hairdo here and feel fabulous when I leave
