We specialize in the design, manufacturing, distribution and retail of the Cuban shirt known as Guayabera shirt. The Guayabera shirt is a very unique garment created in Cuba in the 1800. The shirt features four pockets on the front with pleated lines or embroidery on front and back. Famous people from all over the world have worn the Guayabera shirt from the famous writer Ernest Hemingway to present day presidents and dignitaries. History

Established in 2002.

I started My Cuban Store, from a small room in my house in the year 2002. Back then I was a computer consultant with a small practice in South Florida. Although I loved my profession my entrepreneurial spirit was very strong. I was always trying to create and operate a retail internet business.

I started by selling Cuban memorabilia and pre-​Castro coins. One day my wife and I were invited to a beautiful guayabera wedding by the sea in Miami. We thought the Guayaberas might be a good addition to our business. Almost immediately those Guayaberas became the most popular item we carried.

We carefully hand selected reputable manufacturers who best represented this traditional shirt. They became our first supplier, and we still buy from them today. But after learning the ins and outs of clothing manufacture, we started relations with factories in Latin America and Asia. Today we are proud of our own brand of guayaberas, Shirts and pants.

I’m a first generation Cuban immigrant. I came to this country in 1995 and I’m a proud naturalized citizen. I truly think this great land gives people all the tools to be all they can. It takes hard work and dedication but if you put your self to do it nothing is impossible. I have a beautiful family and I’m proud of what my wife and I have created together. MyCubanStore is a product of hard work honesty and dedication and a testimony of the opportunities available in the USA, we started with no money or fancy last name and here we are.
