Move Management International

My husband and I used Move Management International to ship our two cars for a recent cross-​country move. Our rep, Jessis, was very knowledgable and arranged everything for us, which was great considering we were so busy handling all other aspects of our big move! Our cars arrived on time in perfect condition. The guy towing our cars was really flexible with the dates and times (and he was really funny and nice).
Move Management International’s prices are comparable, and I had a great experience with them. Highly recommended.

Are you a masochist? Would you like to move and wave bye bye to all your belongings for four moths? Do you like dealing with inept staffers who can’t get email addresses right or answer a question intelligently and a surly «manager» who lies through his teeth while rudely telling you off?
Then Move Management is YOUR COMPANY!
My personal items are now on their 105^th day on their way from Chicago to Munich, Germany — from a major U.S. city to a major European metropole. That’s three-​and-​a-​half months of 40 18#18#18″ boxes NOT DELIVERED, despite an already made payment of $ 4,000 for the transport.
The staff of Move Management misrepresented — lied about– length and nature of the move from step one to now. Just aas Nick mentioned above, it was :“6 to 8 weeks!” And then it was: «Ugh, Customs in the U.S., no ship, delays on the road, consolidation, bla bla bla.»
I wasn’t able to reach the initial contacts (Helen, Tina) once the contract was signed. My questions about the delivery remained unanswered or empty promises were made after denial of previously given info. (Manuel, Booker) Once Manuel knew we were upset, he was nowhere to be found, nor did he return calls.
Instead of channeling my delivery through German port Bremerhaven, MM had the great smarts to route the boxes via London, adding another FIVE weeks to an already two-​month delay and costing me to a $ 500 additional (to the $ 4,000 total) fee incurred in the process. You’d think MM would have the courtesy to pickup the tab? Yes? Yes? No. They picked the british agent cause bc of their rock bottom prices, and we got what MM signed up for– more pain.
MM’s British agent took five weeks to process our belongings– routed our stuff through FRANCE and gave us wrong delivery dates, so that we incurred further costs for parking restrictions that proved useless.
We were forced to buy hundreds of dollars’ worth of clothing because we NEVER EXPECTED we’d be without all of our goods for nearly four months.
Move Management is by far the worst, most unprofessional business I have ever contracted with. I will notify every relevant agency, including the BBB about their complete lack of professional standards or ability and ability to fulfill promised professional services as advertised.
These people should be out of business.

An absolute terrible experience overall. My initial call with them was good, they were attentive and answered all my questions and importantly gave me a very competitive quote. Unfortunately that’s where the good ends for the most part. After the sales person was done with me and everything was scheduled I was passed on to a «move management team» that were nothing short of useless. The movers arrived thinking they had to pack for me, but they did not. (Was I charged for packing? Who knows, I never got an answer)
I was told the shipment would take 6 – 8 weeks to go from CO to London, UK. Once they had my stuff then they could basically do whatever they wanted. I was supposed to get tracking for where everything was, the tracking never moved. Even now, it was delivered yesterday and the tracking isn’t updated. According to their tracking my stuff is still in Miami FL. They notified me that my stuff was heavier than expected so they sent me a bill for more than the original amount I was quoted. The final cost was OVER DOUBLE the original quote and I had only about 5 more boxes than expected. They claimed the weight was the key factor but I was never told anything about weight limits.
6 – 8 weeks? Try 3 months, my possessions arrived in the UK and took an additional 4 weeks to be delivered. The UK rep for this company was the most useless human being I have ever dealt with, she took days to answer emails and sounded shocked when I called. She would ask the same questions over and over and was never pleasant or helpful.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. Pay a little more and use someone good.
