No need to even look at the menu. Trust me on this one. Just order the Yellowtail Belly Tiradito. Torched yellowtail in a light sesame ponzu. First time I’ve tried the Japanese Peruvian fusion tiradito and it is delicious. I wish I had ordered the larger size. One of the yummiest things I’ve tasted in a long time. It would go nicely even with just a plain bowl of steamed rice or in my case for lunch, I had it with the pork ramen which was also very good. Broth is light but tasty which is exactly how i like it. Moshi Moshi Champon was just ok. It lacked the seafood flavor. I wouldn’t order the champon again. Sashimi here is really fresh. The Biscayne location is far better than the one in Miami Beach. Much nicer and attentive waitresses and since the location isn’t in the heart of everything like Miami Beach, they try much harder. I had various Tiraditos and none of them were memorable like the yellowtail belly. The only reason why I gave this place 4 stars and not 5, is it had an antiseptic odor which reminded me of a just cleaned bathroom. Sorry, for that reason alone I had to drop a star as it almost drove me out.

A friend of mine told me this place had food«to die for», she even said«the Ramen is a life changing experience». Wow. Got to try it… after all, I’m a devoted Unilocaler! We arrived at 8:30pm on a Saturday, wait was only 5 minutes. But note that the place is small. We got seated a small table for two, that was so close to other small tables that I felt we could split the checks among us… way toooo close for comfort… but anyway… We ordered the Pork Ramen(of course), the Dragon Roll and the Tako Yaki. The Pork Ramen(Egg noodle in hot pork broth with pork) was very good, but not«life changing»… specially since I have been to Japan and have had the most amazing food(as expected). The Dragon Roll(Shrimp Tempura, Asparagus, Scallion, Masago, Avocado On Top) was excellent, one of the best I ever had. The TAKOYAKI(6 pieces of ball shaped pancake with octopus, bonito flakes) was weird at the onset… the Bonito Flakes move and contort and twist … it looks like if the food was alive! Mesmerizing! We kept staring at it, so the waiter came over to ask us if everything was Ok… she said that most customers have this type of reaction to the Tako Yaki when they see it «moving». Anyway, I ventured and ate almost all of the balls, since my date was spooked by it. It was very good, but not for all tastes, since the cream is kind off heavy, and not much octopus inside. In summary: I liked the place, the food, and friendly + efficint staff. Recommended!

Who eats sushi at 5am? The same people who enjoy rock gardens(everyone). We were seated rather quickly considering the relatively small size of the restaurant and had lots to of food to choose from off the menu. The dragon roll here spits fire and is very reasonably priced. Make sure to ask for extra spicy mayo. Be weary of the Mango ice cream. The service is on the slower side. Our server made an appearance over twenty minutes after giving us our checks(hopefully an isolated incident). Overall, this place is a solid sushi option and sometimes only option in the area after a raw night out. Bonus points: zen lighting and Miyazaki projected on the wall.

Poor sushi. We left like half of the food. Hypoxia was ok but sushi and tempura was one of the worst in my life. Service was ok. Big sport screen tv inside killed the mood. Not coming back

I been wanting to visit this place for a while. Overall the selection of sushi was average. The moshi moshi roll is a good selection in addition their dragon roll is delicious also. I did feel a little bit rushed by our waitress to leave the restaurant once our meal resumed. I gave this place an average rating because their selection of sushi and the quality was edible but nothing to praise about. Felt the same about the service.

Moshi Moshi, dragon roll, and volcano roll. If you do not know what to order get any of those three or all three and you will be in for a treat. My favorite sushi place in this side of town! The Moshi Moshi is huge! The size is very big and the flavor is awesome. The Dragon roll is great. Super yummy. The Volcano roll has gratuitous amount of crab. This is a killer trio! They also have those Japanese ice cream balls that I always seem to forget what they are called. But when you order a portion for dessert they bring out an assortment of 4 flavor(2 of each flavor). They also have a few Japanese beers that are worth the try. Prices are reasonable. The location is cozy. They are open until 5 am!

This place fantastic! I ordered the miso soup to start and the broth was very savory. The noodles were cooked to perfection. I’m not usually a big fan of soups but this one was great! My friend and I also ordered the crunchy Krab rolls and the Moshi Moshi rolls. Both were outstanding. The rolls were well made. I love sushi and I hate when I can’t dip my rolls without them falling apart. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was very friendly. They didn’t mind telling us which rolls were the most popular, etc. It was a quiet place, not much parking, but the food was outstanding so I will definitely be coming back!

Very clean and bright space. The staff are very nice and the overall customer service experience is great. The sushi is super fresh and tastes great and at good prices too. The vegetable fried rice is so good and is a large sized portion. It can come with or without egg, it’s your choice. I definitely recommend to anyone who likes Sushi and not having to spend a fortune on it.

The sushi has always been excellent and fresh. I had sushi at many places including the famous japenese market on north bay village, and this place really is up there at very reasonable prices. Late night,(past 1 am) this hands down beats any other spot in Miami.

I honestly don’t get the good reviews here. We ordered Ramen and sushi, and both were well below average. My ramen was extremely soggy, and the soup base tasted like it was canned. I am a huge fan of Ramen, and honestly could hardly eat this one. Someone else in our group got Sushi, and said it was some of the worst they had ever had. I’m not a sushi fan, but even I could tell just by looking at it that it wasn’t good. It was not compact, and was falling apart. Not a place I would return to.

I’ve been wanting to coming to this location for the longest! I bartend right down the street and always get off work so late and have no time to enjoy a nice dinner spot! LUCKILY, for this location cute tiny tiny tiny little spot it’s open until 5AM! Food is so good! I would think the location being so small service would be a tad better. Not saying it was terrible but could be better! Other than that they have great prices and food! Still will continue to come here!

Carefully taking into account the devotion I have to Unilocal, and how religiously I post, please do not post anything negative about Moshi Moshi, ever!!! If you had a problem while visiting here, you brought it with you, so take it home!!!

What… happened…to…this…place??? Never refilled my water glass during my whole dinner… need I say more!!! This place used to be my favorite to go late night, but now, the service is awful. We waited forever just for two sodas, I had to take my boyfriend’s water because no one refilled my glass. It wasn’t busy either. The serving staff was in the back on their phones, and just talking. There’s customers on the floor, so why aren’t you there either? We waited 15 minutes to get sauces, the guy sitting next to us never even got his eel sauce for his sushi. The service has gone down so much. In the end, we had to slam a glass on the table just to get our server’s attention. Attention to the management staff: your servers for the Biscayne location are nowhere what they used to be and you’re going to lose customers because of it.

I ordered the Moshi Moshi roll which was good but not as good as I was expecting. My girlfriend ordered the Dragon Roll which was excellent. The service was friendly and courteous. I also ordered the steamed chicken appetizer which was good. The hot saki was not my favorite, I’ve had sake before but for some reason this saki was not good at all. I came here around 10:30pm and the place was busy.

What a great Japanese find in Miami! I will definitely return for their sushi! We had the jumbo eel roll and both my fiancé and I agree that it’s the best eel roll we have ever tried. They put a whole sliver of eel on top of a gigantic roll! I’m not crazy about cream cheese in my sushi so we substituted with asparagus for $ 1 customization charge. We picked two noodle dishes, the miso ramen with pork and yaki udon with chicken. The udon had great chewy texture and I enjoyed the miso broth. Both dishes were good, but not home runs. For dessert, I strongly recommend the green tea tiramisu! It’s your classic tiramisu topped with some red bean and a side of green tea ice cream, a fantastic combination! I thought it was interesting that they were playing Japanese animé cartoons on the TV. The red booths and paper pendant lamp shades give it a late night Tokyo vibe. I found out that there’s a whole outdoors section in the back where guests can sit, so if you’re in a group larger than 4, it’s a good option.

This place has good food and is open late. Done deal! My party arrived at around 3 am and even then parking was scarce, so we had to walk a block or two. The neighborhood was as sketchy as you’d expect it to be that late at night, but there was a church service going strong on the same block so that eased my paranoia a bit. The entrance area to the restaurant where the sushi is made has a nice little ambiance, with blue mood lighting and a small seating area. Towards the back are a few booths for larger parties. We ordered and then I stepped out to go to the restroom. I waited until it was free and out walked our server, whom I greeted. I then proceeded to do my business and went to wash my hands only to find that there was no soap. I wondered our server washed her hands. I walked to the lobby and told a staff member, who seemed confused about closing time and how that correlated to the need to have soap in the bathroom. She said they closed at 2am and didn’t give me any confirmation that the soap would be refilled. That irked me, but the food itself was delicious. I had the Pork Ramen and a taste of the Beef Tataki. Both delicious. The Ramen had plenty of meat and tasted fresh. The Beef entrée came with a vegetable salad and rice and the meat itself was tender and juicy. My other friends got the Kimchee Pork Ramen and one mentioned it was the best he’d ever had. I gave 4 stars because although the food was delicious, I wondered about the hygiene of the employees.

Sushi is no cheap food. But that doesn’t mean you have to be happy with tiny little rolls that don’t even tickle your tongue. Unfortunately where I live there aren’t many sushi places, and the few nearby have that problem. So when I came across Moshi Moshi I knew I would be coming back often. The place is tight, but nice and welcoming. Our service was beyond spectacular; polite, attentive, fast. However, the main reason why I loved this place is because the food is both good and plentiful, a combination rather hard to find nowadays. And please know that when I say plentiful I mean: come in as if you’re having surgery that day and have been«Nothing By Mouth» for 12 hours. We asked for the edamame to munch on and the bowl of edamame was so big it almost turned into a meal. I was thinking:…this is a smart chef, wanting to fill me up with edamame so I can be satisfied with fru fru, tinny entrees; I’m not falling for it mister! Instead, I was slapped and put to shame with an even larger bowl of pork ramen, and my boyfriend with two sushi rolls so big that looked more like medallion rolls. As an act of defiance in the secret battle with the chef, I dared to order dessert. My bf caught in the middle had no choice but to join, and slightly short of breath we ordered the fried mini doughnuts with condensed milk. We had to stop half way into the dessert before we went into food coma; so we payed and bowed our heads before the mighty chef who rightfully won this one. But I will be back mister!

It’s been hard to find good sushi in Miami that doesn’t cost a fortune, but Moshi Moshi has it! It’s a small restaurant, cozy atmosphere. Service was fine. Now to the food: Surprisingly, the fried rice is REALLY good. Moshi is open until 5AM, so it’s a great late night option to fill you up. The sushi was good quality. They have the standard roles and also a lot of signature roles. We tried the Celebration role(so good!) Miami Role(really big sushi pieces) and the Volcano Role . 3 roles is a lot of food! Especially if you’re getting something else. I’d highly recommend Moshi Moshi, and I’ll definitely be back for the late night option!
