History

Established in 2010.

Monsters Training Center was opened by International Shootfighting Instructor Suleiman «HARDCORE» Yousef with the goal of establishing a permanent home in the Fitness and Training Industry. Monsters Training Center houses World Champions and Competitors from around the globe. We strive to make everyone’s dreams a reality, by providing excellence in training. We believe our members are an extension of ourselves so we make sure we produce Champions of the highest caliber. We offer BootCamp, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, ShootFighting, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Wrestling, Judo, Karate, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Yoga, Personal Training, and Much More !

Suleiman is very personable and takes his craft seriously. He brings top trainers to his gym to teach great martial arts techniques in a safe environment. Monsters Training Center is the gym to attend if you want someone that cares about you not your wallet.

I’m only rating the jujitsu grappling class they have at monster’s gym. So the floors seem clean and decent, there is plenty of space and the place is air conditioned. I think the main focus of the gym is boot camp training for young women, and as a business it looks to be doing well. There was also a thai boxing class I observed, and it look to be well run and organized too.
The jujitsu class was a different story. When I went, I had to remind the staff that they’d probably want me to sign a release form, instead of letting me walk in and go at it. I went to 3 of their no gi jujitsu classes, and each time was with a different instructor and nothing was coherent from one class to the next. The last class I went to was run by the owner, and it was terrible. Maybe he had an off day, but writing a list of 10 things we should do 50 times (push ups, squats, etc) on the board to do while instructor sits and watches for 30 mins is not acceptable. I decided after that, this place was not for me. A couple months later, the gym calls asking if I’d like to join. Kinda slow.

I’ve done karate and Crossfit and I can say that Sul is an amazing instructor. Not only knows what he is doing and will work with you on basics if you are not that advance, but he will still push you to strive for more. From the variety of classes and the great prices I can say there is nothing better. Your endurance will get tested, and it is nothing like Crossfit, this is way better. You get to learn how to defend yourself, you get in shape and you have a great time testing your skills while doing so. Go Monsters or go home.

One of the few places in Miami that is a no frills MMA gym. This is not your typical computer generated gym of Miami that pretends to be something it is not. Monster’s is well connected holding seminars with respectable martial artists. Learn muay Thai brazilian jiu jitsu, wrestling or just get in shape. Learn how to triangle choke someone.

Monsters Training Center is simply the best gym in South Florida. Sulieman the owner treats you like one of his family. I would recommend Monsters to anyone who wants to get in shape and stay in shape. Not to mention across the street has the best Cuban coffee in South Florida!

Monsters is the kind of place you want to go to if you don’t want to be judged. The owner and instructors treat everyone like family hear. All the programs are awesome! (BJJ, MMA, Bootcamp, Wrestling) The instructors are so knowledgable and really take care of their students. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have fun, work out without shoes and be part of a bigger family. Highly recommend!

Monster’s Training Center is simply awesome! The facility, the trainers, and the owner are awesome people that make it a pleasure to go and workout. They actually care about your results and are on top of you making sure you reach your goals. Monster’s is the one place I have found that offers a variety of times to fit busy work schedules. While you workout at one of their bootcamp classes your little one can be doing BJJ. It is also a plus in my book that the actual training center is super clean! It is definitely a keeper in my book. If you want to look good and feel great in your body give them a shot because you will not regret it! Oh, and you also get to workout with no shoes, which is kinda cool.
