*This review is about the building, not the mass/church services* Unfortunately, I was unable to find a history of the mission to post on here, not even on their site do they give a timeline as to construction, inspiration, architecture, nothing, which is a great disservice, in my opinion. They really should mention all these things, not just for history buffs, and people like me who enjoy learning and accompanying such information with my reviews and photos, but people who may feel more inclined to visit a historic church. C’mon guys, at least include a mission statement! As to the building itself, it looks beautiful from the outside, but as seems to be the case with every church in Miami(so far, anyway), I could not tell you how the inside looks because it was locked up, and it was only 5 p.m. or so, on a Saturday. Very frustrating! I guess I will have to make the effort to dress myself in a presentable manner and try to sneak in immediately after services are over to take photographs(assuming they don’t prohibit me from doing so). In the meantime, I have posted a few exterior shots, whatever I was able to manage to photograph through the fence(I do not like fences or gates to show in my photographs, unless they have some value to the photograph, or they go along with a point I am trying to make). Take a look and hope you enjoy!
