Esteban came the same day I called and did so on time. He was pleasant and professional and was able to diagnose the problem within minutes. He fixed a problem with my refrigerator, my dishwasher and a toilet. His charges are extremely reasonable and he guarantees his work.

Great person and company!!! A few months ago I had to get my air conditioning repaired so i called several companies all of the them gave me outrageous bids and promises of a great job. The only one who called me back to find out if the bid was fair was Esteban. Estaban came to my home and was the last company to bid. His attention to detail and his honest approach won me over. I called him several times with questions and he patiently answer all of them and won me and my wife over. His team came to my home on time and performed the job with a professionalism I have not seen in along time. the job was clean and air is running great today. Great service! He arrived less than hour after I called and was extremely helpful and professional. My fridge had stopped working and the temp had been rising for 24 hours. I called the next morning after a day of consistent temp rise. When the repairman arrived, it seemed like the fridge had decided to work again but he still took a look at it, gave helpful insight and didn’t charge for the trouble. It’s rare to find such helpful service!

I’m so happy with this company. They did a great job cleaning mold and grime off my AC coils. The best part was that they explained everything to me so clearly and then showed me the grimy culprit!

It is hard to find good appliance service in Miami. This one is very good. We called in the morning and Esteban came a couple of hours later. Repair was swift, done with care, but also takes the time to explain in way that that you can understand what is going on. In short: this company takes pride in its work. We will call the company again if one of our appliances should break down and definitely recommend them. Plus, Esteban is a really nice person.

On Nov. 11, I noticed that my indoor AC unit was leaking everywhere. Unfortunately, the damage to my floor was done, but after turning the unit off I knew that I had to start by fixing the AC. I was relieved when Esteban answered the phone and spoke English so well. I’m not native to Miami and not speaking Spanish makes repairs like these difficult for me. (Don’t worry Spanish speakers — it appears that he and his family who run the business do speak Spanish.)
He couldn’t come by right away but came on Nov. 12 in the morning. He identified the source of the problem right away and quoted a very reasonable price for cleaning and repairing the unit. However, after some discussion, my husband and I decided to just replace our whole AC unit instead. Esteban did not pressure us into that sale — it was a choice we made on our own and he was just as willing to do the original clean and repair. We purchased this house in the summer and we knew that the AC was an older unit and had planned on replacing it eventually. In the summer, we’d been quoted $ 5000 – 6000 for the replacement of both our indoor and outdoor AC units. Esteban’s company did it for under $ 3000 (not including taxes or the smart thermostat we purchased through him as well). We are also getting a 10 year warranty on the units and a 1 year labor warranty with their company.
Due to conflicts with my work schedule, we ended up setting the installation date for Nov. 13. His uncle and cousin were the ones who came and installed the unit — promptly at 9 AM when they promised to be there. They worked quickly and tried very hard not to make a mess in my house. After the installation, Esteban came by to ensure that everything was working properly and to install our new thermostat.
Overall, I am very pleased with this service! I rarely have customer service this good in Miami nor do people show up when they say they will. I highly recommend this company for any appliance repairs that you need.

I searched for an AC repairman around my area and saw the rave reviews Mike’s AC repair had received and was skeptical. I checked other sites for their reviews and they were consistent, so I decided to try them out. I’m so glad I trusted my fellow Unilocalers! The service was amazing!!! Esteban was very straightforward and honest. He repaired the issue with my AC and even helped me with an electrical issue I was having that I asked him about. He went out of his way for me and I’m so appreciative. Trust those reviews… He’s awesome! I’m definitely going to use him again and again! Mike’s is now my official AC and appliance repair company.

Mike came to the house to replace the belt on my ’92 Kenmore dryer. In and out in 30 minutes, super friendly. Use this guy!

Esteban did a fantastic job repairing my A/​C unit. He was on-​time, knowledgeable and very friendly. He assessed the problem and luckily had the part that I needed in his truck. I called for service early in the morning. He asked what the problem was with my unit and after giving him the details, he determined it probably wasn’t something major and he’d stop by and check it out since my house was on the way to his first appointment. It was repaired in minutes. My family was grateful to have it working again. I will definitely use their service for A/​C and appliance repairs.

Labor day weekend 2015 AC FAIL !!! So the dreaded search of finding a honest reliable Air conditioning specialist. Spoke to Mike in the morning of a Labor day weekend Saturday. He was booked for a job in the morning and promised to call and visit me after his appointment.
In the mean time i called up comfort Service and repair which quoted me a higher price then Mike but was available right away. The tech/​owner showed up promptly after the service call was an older gentleman which seemed to know what he was doing. Pepe replaced the faulty ac fan and capacitor and refilled the system with freon. The tech left and a while later the system was down again. Pepe had left for the keys and unavailable till Tuesday.
Mike called me as promised and came promptly after his first job. I explained to Mike what «COMFORT SERVICE AND REPAIR «had done work wise and he throughly examined the motor installed and capacitor. Mike discovered that a incorrect capacitor was installed and freon improperly charged and corrected the issues.
I am writing this review as my AC is back to life and cooling my house for the weekend. Mike was very informative and detailed about his service. I highly recommend him for his honesty and service.

I have spent my whole life looking for skilled and honest repairmen in Miami. This week, it finally happened. These guys are great. Their service calls are cheap, they document everything, share it with you and explain the problem before they begin billable service.
Esteban came to my business for a midnight service call after working a 16 hour day and fixed the rooftop AC units.
I think that says everything about this company.
I just wish they had a website; it’s hard to search Unilocal for their page.

I called Esteban because my front-​load clothes washer was making a lot of noise on spin cycle and the door handle broke off of my Bosh dishwasher.
He arrived on time and examined my washing machine and then showed me a schematic of the bad part on his iPhone. He showed me how much the part costs and how much work it takes to replace it. He suggested I was better off buying a new machine.
The dishwasher needed a new door handle. It wasn’t the type of part that anybody would carry on his truck, so he had to order the part and come back to install it. He only charged me for the part and one service call even though he obviously had to come twice. I have no complaints and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his service.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Mike’s Appliance Service today. My repairman, was named Esteban (whom is Mike’s son and the actual current owner) and he really did a great job. He took his time showing me exactly what was wrong with my unit (heater stopped working) and had the part on hand. I think I got great service at a fair price.
Will definitely consider for any future issues I have. Also for anyone curious, he does most handyman work and works on home A/​C Units as well.
