Miami HID

I was looking to install HID’s and I looked online and did my research and found this place. I looked at the website and emailed the owner Carlos and he answered my general questions but then I asked him to meet so he could answer more questions I had. Within the week of the email we scheduled to meet and that same day he installed my HIDs. Literally only took 25 – 30 minutes! I was in and out and he’s super affordable. He even includes a one year warranty! Definitely recommend this place!

This review is embarrassingly late! I absolutely loved everything about Carlos’ operation. He was timely, professional, offered great customer service and even sent me a receipt. I dropped off my car to him in the morning and had it back within 2 hours. He did a beautiful job placing the ballast, very neat unlike the last place that installed my set! These HIDS are great quality, electric, non flickering. Aka a relief ! I was sick of dealing with lights that weren’t reliable.. Ballast and fuses. Bleh! The pricing was also very reasonable. Would recommend !! I’ll post some photos asap.

Carlos is awesome! Not only was he really nice but he also fixed my headlight issue in less than ten minutes. I spent more time in traffic than I did at the actual shop. The price he had quoted me via text was the same thing I ended up paying, too. I highly recommend Miami HID.

Brought my own kit and Carlos did a fantastic job on the install and he backs up his work with a warranty. If you need to upgrade your stock lighting, go see him!

Had Carlos install HID’s to 3 of our cars (2 ’14 sonatas and 1 ’10 sonata). I’ve had them for a few months and have not had any issues with them. Carlos provides a one year warranty on his products. He’s also very professional and will return all text mssg’s/emails/phone calls… trust me, I know. I asked about a million questions before he did the installs.

Carlos installed HIDs, along with new headlamps, on a 2006 Toyota Camry XLE. I went to Carlos strictly from the positive Unilocal!reviews. He did not disappoint. The HIDs work great; he was done in approximately one hour, and he does a great job with communication prior to the install. He’s very good with returning emails and txt msgs. I will definitely use him again in the future. You will not be disappointed!

Found Carlos through Google search to install HID’s in my 2014 Toyota Avalon
XSP which comes with LED DRL’s and fog lights, but with halogen headlights (!!?)
Carlos installed them quickly and efficiently. One of the lights flickered when it came
on and he said it was temporary. Unfortunately, the light eventually would not come
on at all. I e-​mailed Carlos over the Memorial Day weekend, and he responded right
away. I got with him the following day at his installation bay, and he quickly and
cheerfully fixed the problem, which turned out to be a bad bulb, nothing wrong
with the install. Very happy with the lights, and like the other reviewer, I actually
am excited and look forward to driving at night. I would recommend Miami HID.

Just got my HID’s installed with Carlos this morning and it was a great experience. I went to him strictly based on his reviews by other clientele and I have to say they were correct about their positive experience. I am actually going back to him this week for some LED lights in the back of my car. Super excited for it to be night time so I can fully appreciate his work. Oh and did I mention that he went out of his normal work hours to accommodate me. Definitely recommend!

So after a very BAD experience with another HID installer, I found Miami HID. All I can say is WOW! What professionalism, timeliness and attention to detail. I had the headlights and fog lights re-​installed on my 2014 Kia Forte Ex and i’m VERY IMPRESSED!
The owner is a very friendly guy and he explains what needs to be done as he goes along. Very reasonable pricing and a fair guy. Well worth the drive to South Miami.

Most professional install yet, I did a Fog HID for my 13 Gen Coupe track, His location has air condition waiting rooms, I preferred to watch and all the question i had he answered. Iv’e seen many of my friend cars with hid and wires are everywhere ballast are mounted right next to the hot engine. He used every available crevasse to route the wires and he didn’t use the 3M sticky back instead mounted them with Tie Wraps so there secure forever. He also was very prepared some wires that came with my kit where not long enough to reach the battery; But he had the exact connectors and wires which saved me a ton of hassel. He didn’t even charge for that.
Prices are fair i paid $ 45 for the install.

I purchased HID’s from Carlos for my 2010 Lincoln Navigator. The reason was to change the color of the stock HID’s that came with the vehicle. The Chinese HID’s that Carlos installed are not even ½ as bright as my stock HID’s. When I spoke to Carlos he told me that he gives no guarantee on how bright they would be. He told me that REAL HID’s would cost much more than the product he sells from China. I am not at all happy with the product. If he knew they would be as dim as they are he should have told me from the start and I would not have purchased them. Certainly not a way to run a business. I would not recommend Miami HID to anyone. Update 01÷12÷14. Not only are the HID’s very dim, now after only a few months one of them has burnt out and does not work at all. Update 02÷23÷14. Now the other HID bulb has burnt out. Less than one year both have burnt out. I wish Carlos would have told me they were Chinese junk. They are junk. DO NOT waste your money.

I had Miami HID Install lights in my car. He was prompt, courteous and honest. The lights look great I’m very happy with the results. He gave me a great price and warranties all his installs. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family.

Carlos was a constant professional, he showed up on time and did fantastic work on my Camaro. Price was awesome and he came straight to me so I could get on with my day. Miami HID is a one man shop. The owner/​operator Carlos installs after-​market HID/​Xenon lights on cars. He can install HIDs on cars that don’t have Xenon headlights, or he can add them to the foglights to make the fogs brighter. He can also install LED lighting and a bunch of other lighting upgrades.
He replaced my previous HID Foglights which had failed.
What I liked
1) Reasonable pricing. $ 105 for HID fog lights including install and he comes to you.
2) 2 year warranty
3) Good guy — he also changed my high beam light bulbs because I didn’t like the stock ones. Further in my car the fuse for the fogs had been blown, and he replaced it for free.
4) He does the work the way you ask. I asked him to do it the hard way — through the wheel well, and not to remove the bumper. And he did it the way I asked without any problems.
I can’t tell yet how long the kit will last, but this guy has been around and stands by his work. So far it works great and is significantly brighter than the halogen foglights.
