Miami Federal Credit Union

This bank participates in shared branching with my hometown credit union so I’ve visited a couple of times to deposit checks. It’s located inside the IRS building in downtown Miami. Sound like a hassle? It’s surprisingly not that bad.
I always park in the Cultural Arts Garage at SW 1^st St. and SW 1^st Ave. which is free for the first 30 minutes. If you’re only going for a quick deposit at the bank, you can beat the clock and get free parking!
Since it’s the IRS building, you have to go through security scanners. Once you do that, make your way to the elevator and up to the 6^th floor. I’ve never had to wait to be seen and the clerks are all very friendly! Come to think of it, everyone I’ve encountered on the first floor is very nice, too.
In this day and age, many banks have moved to mobile banking but for those rare credit union needs, this branch comes in handy!
