Made my first attempt to visit this branch today and was hoping for the clean and quiet ambience spoken of in previous reviews. Unfortunately, after 5 minutes of sitting down I walked back out. It was the loudest library I had been to, and was surprised when I turned around, it was the employees speaking loudly. Having worked at a Dade library myself, I found that disrespectful. You’d think they know better.

Check the hours before going — the library system is being underfunded and many libraries are being slated to be closed. Hours for regionals may be reduced down to three days a week and branches to two days a week. Check
to see if they can survived this…
