Love it! Authentic for sure. Area is a little rough but is worth it. Definetly better than coyo and better priced.

Excelente y rápida atencion. Menú variable y la comida riquisima… Lo único malo que cierran a las 12: am.

The place is very trendy and well kept for the particular neighborhood. Very clean and staff is friendly. The menu is pretty extensive and after visiting a few times, I can say I will definitely miss working in this area and being able to eat there so often. There are typical Mexican dishes and some new twists on traditional fares. The shrimp tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and sandwiches were all excellent. Everything I’ve tried has been tasty, with a good amount of spice without being overpowering. All in all, I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a good Mexican lunch in the area.

I saw an ad for this place in the New Times and figured I would check it out. I was expecting a dingy hole-in-the-wall in the hood(nothing wrong with that, since those places often have delicious food). The restaurant was remarkably presentable and well-kept. I found out that it had only opened 3 months ago. There is a bar inside that you can sit at or a number of booths with sexy high-backed, plush, black leather seats. There’s also a flat screen mounted in the front corner that was playing an NFL game when I walked in. I came in search of fish tacos, which, unfortunately, have been difficult to find around Miami. I got fish tacos and shrimp tacos, both of which were delicious. You can choose between flour or corn tortillas. While most places dress their fish tacos with a generic«slaw»(usually bland and tasteless) in the tortilla, this place goes with fresh lettuce, tomato, radish, and avocado slices. That’s a definite plus. While the fish and shrimp were both well-cooked, there just wasn’t enough of either of them in the tacos to really be substantial, so I took off one star from that. Beef or chicken tacos are frequently full of those meats, so I don’t see why fish tacos can’t be full of fish. But aside from that, everything else was good. A squeeze of lime and some of the authentic Mexican sauce they provide add a nice kick. That’s all I tried but the menu is otherwise extensive. The neighborhood is not the best, but the food is good and there was some deliberate effort put into making this restaurant look more like it belongs in Miami Beach than in Allapattah. I would go back.
