Temaki places are pretty popular in Brazil, but the concept has really never taken a footing in Miami. Makis doesn’t offer only handrolls(temaki), but rolls too. This little gem is located in bayside(which I hate. dues to parking, and well. everything). However, I loved it! The prices are super reasonable, the service was good. The Temaki were tasty, fresh and varied. To be fair, I loved it. This would be my favorite lunch spot if there was one near my office, or by my house. Its kind of odd that they chose to open up in Bayside.

Came here about a week ago after buying a Groupon. I was looking for a quick meal and was surprised to see that this place was at Bayside. I ordered two hand rolls: one with salmon and one with salmon and tuna. I also got a plate of salmon sashimi and a miso soup. Overall the hand rolls were slightly bigger than a normal hand roll and were filled with a lot of fish. However, the hand roll wasn’t very flavorful and the fish didn’t seem really fresh. This place is probably just good for a snack. Not enough for a full meal.

Service was excellent and the hand rolls were super fresh. They packed them all the way through making it a really great deal for the price. How long has this place been here !! I’ve been missin out until today is all I’m gonna say about that. Highly recommend this little gem if you want fresh and quick while you cruise around bayside for your next«I love Pitbull» tshirt… Just go up stairs across from Hooters in lieu of all those ground floor traps(you locals know what I’m talking about) and definitely hit up the premixed soy and wasabi sauce !! It’s perfect !

The Tetaki rolls are packed with fresh fish and the sauces provided are very good! Finally, a great restaurant to grab a quick and healthy bite to eat at Bayside.
