Magic Lice Removal

We dealt with lice about 1 year and a half ago… my girlfriend recommended this service to me, I gave it a try and boy did it help! A young lady came to my house, she had a very professional and sweet personality. So my second experience with this company was the same as the first time I used them. Made my phone call to them, nice lady on the other line and the same young lady again came to the rescue! We are once again lice free because of Wendy. The money we spent was very worth it. We even got a clearance certificate for school and a 2 week guarantee.

What a life saver! My daughter rides in carpool with several girls her age. One of the girls called to say she had lice and her mother was checking and cleaning her hair. I had no idea what to look for as this was my first experience with lice. My friend was busy checking all of her family and couldn’t help me for some time. Later she decided to call Magic Lice Removal to help her with cleaning her one daughter and to check the remaining kids and adults in the family, mostly to confirm what she thought which was that only the daughter had it. Once I realized an expert was coming on a Sunday to her house, I asked if she could also check and treat my daughter and check my entire family. Thank goodness she said yes. She came over as soon as she was done at my friend’s house. My daughter had a few nits. She cleaned her whole head and checked the remaining five in our family. The best part is that she was efficient and thorough. It would have taken me hours to do what she did in less than two. The other key component (and well worth the money!) was the expert advise I received from the technician and the owner about how to deal with the lice in my home environment. She explained the various ways to clean and kill the lice, depending on what the materials were that were «exposed». She kept me calm and kept me from «over doing» the clean up. The third girl in the carpool also had lice. We did the recommended clean up and treatments and had a technician come out a week later to check all three girls to assure they were all clean. The owner was extremely responsive to my requests and her technicians were timely and very professional. I would definately use this company again with out hesitation.

I had such a terrible experience with this company. I called them late one afternoon and they were able to send a staff member that evening. I explained that my daughter had long curly hair and I was concerned that they wouldn’t get all of the lice out. She worked on my daughter for about an hour (I thought that was pretty fast considering the amount of hair she had) and told me she was sure she’d gotten everything. She suggested some shampoo to keep lice out and went on her way. After about 5 days my daughter started itching again. I called the lady and explained that the treatment had not worked. She assured me that it wasn’t probable and continued to explain that since I hadn’t had everyone in the house checked, she would not be able to guarantee the removal! I was never told about the guarantee or I would have had the whole family checked before I wasted $ 145 plus the $ 25 tip I gave the staff member. She then began to tell me I must have missed it in her initial conversation. I said I did not. She said she would come back out for another $ 145 and would check everyone else in the house for free. I told her I did not think that was fair but I felt helpless and I reassured her is be calling back if I was going to take her up on her «offer.» I attempted to call for the next to days and when she didn’t return my calls, I just did it myself. After spending 6 hours scraping lice out of my daughters hair, I was furious! I found over 50 live lice! called her again to get my money refunded but she never returned my calls. I tried to get a chargeback on my credit card and she fought it. I would never do business with this woman.

The tech was very nice.
I called and they came the same morning.
My daughter had lice. She cleaned my 3 year old’s hair and mine. She doesn’t have a lot of hair yet.
I have a lot of hair and its long.
I’m glad I called, she took out all the eggs and showed me how to do follow up treatment on both of us.
She also gave me a certificate so she can return to school/​daycare.
