(Specialized, Giant, Cannondale, Pearl Izumi, Giro, Giodana, Assos, cyclops, Oakley, zoot, sidi, Castelli, Zipp) At Mack Cycle and Fitness we give back to our community and to our sport. In the last couple of years alone, Mack Cycle and Fitness has funded over $ 100,000 cash toward MS Bike Ride Sponsorship, presenting numerous races, team support, special celebrity presentations and workshops, team development, bicycling advocacy and community education, we are honored to be Florida’s Bike Store Advocate of the Year. To Sandy, and the rest of Mack Cycle, I’d like to express my gratitude for all that you and Mack Cycle did for me as a first time participant in the DCC. Once I signed up to ride for the DCC, and joined the Mack Cycle Team, thereafter I felt like I was treated like royalty.
I am not an avid cyclist, I just wanted to ride for the good cause. For doing so, Mack Cycle gave me $ 150 to be used in their store (what an incredible gesture), and a very cool Mack Cycle outfit to wear the day of the ride. (By the way Sandy, you were right … I loved the bib shorts.)
When I came into the store, (one weekend to shop with the credit … another to pick-​up my Mack Cycle outfit), I was given exceptional customer service by everyone I encountered, and all were patient with me even though I had not much of a clue as to what I was doing, (being a newbie to all of this).
Thank you so much Sandy, and please pass a big thank you on to all of the staff at Mack Cycle. You guys really made this whole experience quite fun and very enjoyable. I look forward to the DCC VII, and once again proudly wearing a Mack Cycle outfit, if you’ll have me.

I purchased a road bike for my wife about 10 days ago and I am so happy that I chose Mack Cycle to make my purchase. Rachel Losada assisted with choosing the right bike at the right price for a beginning cyclist. Mary Jane (MJ) gave me an incredible deal on top of that. Mack Cycle has something for everyone and everyone is extremely knowledgeable and not just willing, but excited to assist everyone of all skill levels.

A great local bike shop, with a lot of variety, good advice, and excellent customer support. I bought two bikes from Mack, one for $ 1,600 and another for $ 3,500. Also around $ 1,000 of accessories over the years. The $ 3,500 bike had some manufacturing issues or had been hastily assembled (frame creaks and mis-​aligned gears). I was concerned and was about to bring the bike back for a refund. But one of the owners took it and had it re-​built it to fix all the issues. Now it runs like a champ. That kind of commitment to customer satisfaction is rare and very important. They also always have a lot of bike clothing and the sales racks offer good deals, a good place to stop by for a nice jersey or bibs at a discount. If you are new to Miami or just into cycling, Mack is a great shop to get to know.

Had a great experience here. Was riding my bike down M path when it was pointed out to me that the rod that keeps the tire in place was missing. Knowing that I didn’t want my tire to fall off, I Unilocaled a close bike shop and they didn’t disappoint. They put a new part in, filled up my tires, and oiled the chains all for no charge! And they were friendly to boot! I will definitely be taking all of my future bike needs to them!

I have been coming here for years! Even though I am no big cyclist. I mostly come for the free air in my wheelchair wheels or a quick fix on a tube or a wheel. It’s a nice friendly place! They always greet me as I go in and sometimes remember what I had done there last. May the last forever and ever!

Do you want amazing service, friendly and knowledgeable staff and a large selection of bikes, gear, etc. then go to Mack Cycle and Fitness. They truly are the best around! This shop is very unprofessional. You call to ask when your bike will be available and no one knows where the bike is. Called 5 times and each time they said they would call me back and I’ve always had to call them back first. They have had my bike over a month and still have not repaired it for me. Will never take my bike here again. BEWARE!!!

Awesome shop! They have and do everything. The staff is great and very helpful. And there’s what feels like 30 of them so you’ll never feel like you’re waiting around for help.
I went because I caught a flat on my way to the beach. The service staff was extremely fast and knowledgable. Fixed the flat and was out of there in about 15 minutes.
I paid $ 20 + tax for the inner tube and the labor of replacement. A little higher than other shops in my area (Kendall) but Sunset is a little more upscale for some; the difference is worth it considering how fast they are.
Funny thing is I left the shop and less than 3 miles down the road I caught a flat again. (Not so funny at the time) I returned to the shop and they happily checked it out for me. They were nice enough to replace the tube at no extra cost. The staff told me what had happened and gave me a couple pointers.
Overall I was very satisfied with the service the staff and the shop as a whole. Definitely earned the five stars. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

I moved to Miami from Cali 2 months ago and have shopped several shoppes in the area. What I expect is that either when I arrive or when I am shopping around, that I am acknowledged or asked if help is needed. No luck at any of the other shops and not because they were so busy they didn’t have time.
Today I went to Mack’s, was immediately greeted, AND they were busy — very very busy (good sign). I was helped by several, particularly Rachel & Barbara and it was SO nice to see women working the shop. The mechanics gave my Cannondale the once over, inflated my tires and gave me the thumbs up. With the move I was concerned it needed a full tune up, but they were nice enough to say it made it fine and all it needed was a few tweaks and it was ready to go.
I purchased some new bike shoes to replace the ones destroyed in the move. I was excited to talk to many staff about the local cycle, tri and cyclocross community. I was given some info on upcoming races as well as training group for triathlon. NOW that is amazing. More than I expected and I am beyond happy with my find

Not only does Mack Cycle have the best selection of any bike shop in South Florida, but the customer service is on point. The shop employees are knowledgable and often times go out of their way to accommodate their clientele.
Their master mechanic Osmar Torres spends more time fine tuning customer bikes than he does his own. I took my previous bike in on numerous occasions and it always came back to me as though it were fresh off the rack. After a recent encounter with the pavement, my bike needed to be replaced and he built me one of the prettiest bikes I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Lastly, got to love a family owned business! Mary Jane and the gang live and breathe Mack Cycle. Their commitment to the cycling and fitness community is second to none.

This place lives up to its reputation as one of the best cycling stores in the US. 5 stars. 4th bike bought here. Look for Efrain. No hassle, no pressure. Just state your budget and he will take care of you no matter if it is $ 600 or $ 3000. He will always find you the best bike for your money.
So far I have recommended 2 friends, my girlfriend and two bikes for myself. And I’ve always come out of the place very happy.

Mack’s is an one of those shops ingrained in the local cycling community. They’ve been around for years, providing good service, supporting local rides and events throughout the calendar year, and giving the rider a good selection of bikes and equipment.
Pay them a visit to see what they have in stock. You can look online (i.e. Facebook) to find out what rides or clinics they’re sponsoring. All levels of rider are welcomed, some rides are specifically for beginners. So you have a good opportunity to try out your new bike with riders that will help you learn how to ride in groups and on the local roads.

My boyfriend and I purchased bikes from here recently and let me tell you the service was impeccable. If you’re in the market for a new bicycle definitely stop by this place and ask for Calixto. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the store has very little walking room which I found a bit annoying. We went on a Saturday and it got pretty packed. Besides that they’re really knowledgable in all aspects of biking which is nice. Most other places we stopped at just tried to sell us the most expensive bike without even asking questions. Calixto took the time to ask us questions and find out what it was that we wanted to get out of the purchase. He genuinely cared to help us purchase a bike that would suit our interest rather than just selling us the nicest prettiest bike. We shopped around at about a dozen places before choosing to purchase here. Definitely stop by try them out.

This is my 5 or 6 bike I have bought from Mack cycle as they are simply the best. I was there last weekend and calixto was the salesperson who was super —
Not pushy, very informative. He explained the differences between the bikes I was looking at and how these might fit my riding style. He had a couple of bikes put together from the box so I could try them. Once I made my decision he spent time making sure the bike seat and handle bars were set correctly. There is no place better than Macks cycle and no one there better than calixto !

The lady on the phone made it seem nice. I wasted my time driving almost thirty mins to meet the most rude person I ever met. I came in and was greeted nicely and everyone acted like I would be helped. The manager of the service department came out and wouldn’t help me in any way. GO TO ANDANTE bicycle shop in cutler bay. They are knowledgable and polite and the prices are affordable. My bike will be ready in three hours! Stay away from amatuers when there’s real proffesionals who need the work!

Bought a bike here in June 2011… and it was just stolen.
Very sadly, I returned to Mack Cycle to purchase a replacement and was able to find another great bike in my price range (not as cheap as the 2011 purchase but close).
Rachel was very helpful, knowledgeable, and sympathetic to the fact that I hadn’t budgeted for a new bike and was able to swing a couple discounts on the accessories.
Love when people take pride in what they do. This place — and its employees — definitely do.
