Small gym with great classes. Nothing pretentious or too fancy. Instructors are great. Kelly’s spinning class is great.

I just tried Soul Cycle in the Gables and all I kept thinking was Wow, MCycle is sooooo much better than this. I love it at MCycle. I did give four stars instead of five because I think they could do a better job operationally so that it’s not so crowded coming in and out with sweaty people, a wet workout room and parking problems. Plus, they would have time to clean, mop up in between classes so the room is not so humid and un-​hygienic. This is a management operational quick fix but not sure how serious they are about it since it’s been this way for years. There shouldn’t be an 8:30 class and then a 9:30 class. Since classes run almost the full hour. It doesn’t give folks enough time to get in and out and they can’t properly clean the place. It should either be an 8:30 class that starts ON TIME and then a 9:40 class. Healthy competition is always good and with the new competition coming in town and their instructors leaving for other gyms like Body and Soul and Metropolis perhaps they will engage a little more and step it up. Hope so. Still a fan but would love to see it improve a bit.

The best, hardest classes in town. From specialty classes to Real Ryder spinning classes. It doesn’t get better than this. The instructors are all top notch: Andrea, Sandy, Christa, Johnny, David, Rob, Brad, Ani and Onel. My nine year old loves the kids boot camp taught by Todd and if you’re a Zumba lover there’s Wally and Jaidy. Check it out… you’ll love it. And as others mentioned, the traffic is bad, but who’s complaining, they have free valet parking.

This place is very pompous not the feeling I like when working out. The only reason not one star is because I really like the person who taught my class. Recommendation would be to take time to listen to your customers more.

Been a gym rat for years and I do like a change. M Cycle has always been consistent. The classes are diverse and all pgreat. Unfortunately they just lost one of my favorite instructors and the weekend schedule is hurting. I hope they figure it out because once my month is up I will have to hop to another gym that has great classes after work and on the weekends.
Otherwise the patrons and the instructors are friendly and hard working. They do really care and want to push you to be the best you can be. I always break a sweat there; though it may have something to do with the lack of air conditioning. If you are into looks and cleanliness– it will not be for you as it does need a facelift, but if you can handle the size, décor and price tag you will get a great workout and school day!

If you are going to M Cycle, then you are committing to a butt kicking work out! As I paid per class, I wanted to make sure each one was worth the money. The elite fitness class surely is. We used a mix of weights, boxing, and just plain cardio to end up dripping sweat at the conclusion of the work out. This gym in general has a boot camp style to it that I personally like. You are pushed harder with their expectations that you will work hard. I did try one other class, and I felt almost the same way about the atmosphere. The classes are pretty crowded so sometimes you do have to squeeze in, but they will answer any form questions you have during the exercises or there is always someone else in the class to watch to make sure you are doing each move correctly. Get ready to sweat.

I’m a commitment-​phobe when it comes to gyms, but after 5 months of paying month-​to-​month memberships I finally ran out of excuses and became an official member. The new Real Ryder spinning bikes make what was a great workout even more amazing! Gina’s pilates class is a perfect compliment to spinning, and I love the Extreme Makeover weight classes, which round out a perfect workout routine (to me, at least). The instructors are all so friendly, know how to motivate you and play great music (which makes the time fly). It’s on the pricey side, but not much more than most higher end gyms. such as Equinox. It is definitely worth the money in my book. Only downsides are limited parking and crowded classes — get there early!

4.5 stars. It does not get 5 because of the parking and it is on the expensive side. Those things don’t stop me from being a member though.
If this gym were a bar, it would be cheers… where everybody knows your name. I’ve been a member for 2 years now, and I’ve made a ton of friends and even started cycling with some of them on weekends. I’ve tried every class offered here (from pilates to kick boxing to zumba) — all great, but the specialty is spinning. I have been spinning since 1996 and have tried many places and many instructors. I must say Maria and Javi from M Cycle are two of my favorite instructors ever. They motivate people and play awesome music. Before you know it, class is over and you are drenched in sweat. The gym also has free weights, machines, treadmills /​ellipticals /​steppers, etc.
oh… and yes, spinning classes can get packed — but if you are a member, you can reserve a bike a day in advance.

This place is great if you like classes. There is a spin room and another room for the specialty classes like scuplt and zumba. The parking is difficult because the place is small but there is valet for $ 2. For first timers you can probably get a free week trial. Some of the classes get really crowded and you need to fight a housewife for your spot at the front but that’s just comical to me.
It is pricey but worth it and the location is good for me, there’s not much in south miami.

This is truly a great place to go, if planning on getting a great working. The spinning classes, which are the ones I tend to do are outstanding and will definitely work your body real good. You can opt and pay about $ 12 for each class or get a membership here, which to me is way too expensive ($ 120 a month). That’s a bit too much even for great spinning. The great thing though about going to this gym is that everyone here is there to workout, not get dates. The instructors are in great shape and make you want to spin your way to health, pretty much they motivate you. One more thing, beware of the parking which can be very limited, pretty much what I’m saying is to get there early so you have no problem getting a good bike. Have fun!
