At Let’s Go Sailing Today we pride ourselves on delivering the most memorable and enjoyable sailboat rentals in Miami. There are many different ways to use a sailboat charter in Miami including: a birthday, anniversary, engagement proposal, bachelorette party, wedding, holiday, corporate team building regatta, or to simply have a wonderful time cruising around Biscayne Bay!

A sail could be a tranquil downwind run sipping a glass of wine, or an adventure! You decide how you want to enjoy it. Biscayne Bay is the largest estuary on the coast of southeast Florida and is contiguous with the southern Florida Everglades and Florida Bay! You won’t be disappointed in the view.

Established in 2010.

Captain Bill has been sailing for over 30 years. He has sailed from New England to South Florida and the Bahamas. As a former music teacher in New York, Greece, and Austria, he combines his teaching and nautical talents into comfortable, safe, and memorable sailing charters for everyone. With several years of success, we look forward to many more!

Captain Bill is a native New Yorker. After music and teaching careers in New York and Europe, he went into business owning and operating a transportation company. Eventually he moved to South Florida and turned his passion for sailing into a business. Bill takes pride in the quality of the service and experience provided at Lets Go Sailing Today. Exceptional experience and service! Captain Bill Made us feel welcomed and very attentive to our needs. Would recommend to anyone. The boat was very well kept and comfortable. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. 2 weeks ago we surprised my dad for his birthday with a morning/​early afternoon on Captain Bill’s beautiful sailboat. My dad was visiting us from L.A. and I wanted to do something special for him over the weekend, and it literally made his entire weekend. Not only is the boat clean and spacious and comfortable (we were 4 people, but it fits up to 6 people), but Captain Bill did everything possible to make us feel great. He brought tons of water bottles and some beer and soft drinks + plenty of snacks (even though we also brought our own food for lunch), he had water noodles that he tossed into the ocean when we decided to jump in, and he let my dad sail the boat whenever he wanted to. We got to the boat a little late due to traffic, but Captain Bill didn’t take that off our time –he still gave us a full four hour ride, no problem. From the beginning of our conversations Captain Bill was so easy going and flexible.
All in all, the experience was so much better than I could have hoped for. Captain Bill is 100% my go-​to sailboat from now on, there’s no question. If you want a chilled-​out, beautiful day out on the water, look no further.

I can truly say that Let’s Go Sailing Today provided one of the most memorable and magical experiences of my life. Enough so that I am writing my first ever Unilocal review purely so that I can brag on their behalf! Captain Bill and his crew are some of the nicest and most generous people I have had the pleasure of meeting and I cannot recommend Lets Go Sailing Today enough for those of you looking to spend the day on the beautiful Biscayne Bay. They provided us with snacks and refreshments, took us out to a gorgeous sand bar where we were able to have lunch, swim around and lounge on the boat before leisurely sailing back to the marina with sunkissed skin, full bellies and a lifetime of memories. Thanks Captain Bill!

Thank you Capitan Bill for a fantastic afternoon in Biscayne Bay. During our cruise, Bill went out of his way and took extra time in explaining the ins and outs of his meticulously maintained and manicured sail boat. My Wife and I have intentions of learning how to sail to see if it is something we could pursue in the near future and we couldn’t imagine someone better to introduce us to sailing than Bill. As we gain our experience, Bill can count on us in coming back for more.

We went on the sunset cruise that was only supposed to be two hours and we wanted a little longer so they gave us an extra hour. We were able to see the Miami lights and the sunset. Such a great time and Captain Bill and his first mate were so personable. This is not a sail with other people just you and your significant other. We were so impressed and would absolutely do it again! Thank you Captain Bill!

It has been exactly one year since our lovely sail with captain Bill. The tan has gone away but the memories will last forever. Even a year later I can say that this was one of my favorite memories. The sailboat was gorgeous grand and so much fun.
Captain Bill took us on a beautiful ride around the Miami beach area, and even to a sand bar party in the middle of the ocean!
We had champagne and brunch on the boat accompanied with our music playing on the speaker of the boat.
The sail was smooth and flawless and everyone had a great time.
If I could do it again, I would. This was one of the best times of my life, not only was it my best friends bachelorette party but it was also my birthday.
I hope to one day sail again with captain Bill for a magical special occasion.

Captain Bill and his boat were everything we could have wanted and more. Lovely, clean, comfortable boat and a friendly, helpful, skilled captain.
We went for the sunset charter and had a lovely time sailing out from dinner key. Captain Bill was knowledgeable about the area and sailing, and gave us lots of helpful and interesting information.
We can’t wait until our next charter!

Loved this overall experience! Captain Bill and Gino were very accommodating and so nice! My friend, three year old son, and I did a sunset boat ride. My son loved it! He hasn’t stopped talking about it since we went! When we returned from vacation he was telling everyone he’s been on a boat and seen the sun go down! Great memories with him! Will def recommend and will be back again when in Miami!

This may have been the highlight of a South Beach vacation that was absolutely wonderful in every aspect. Captain Bill made it very easy to book. I had a few preliminary questions before we booked the charter and he responded to my inquiries very promptly, even providing advice on transportation for our vacation in general. We booked a four hour cruise, but a full day cruise would definitely not have been too long. We cruised around the bay and looked at the beautiful homes and swam and played around on the paddle board that Captain Bill provided. Captain Bill and Gino provided interesting conversation about sailing and Miami in general and were so friendly, taking photos for us, and keeping us satiated with drinks and snacks. Highly recommended!

Captain Bill was very nice and accomodating. The sail boat is quite large and he made it very comfortable with these fabric cushioned chairs pointing out directly towards the water. There was someone on board who kept providing us drinks and whatever snacks we wanted. Overall was a great experience and a good deal for a private cruise!

Just finished a really nice few hours on the boat with Captain Bill and would highly recommend this experience for those who are sailors and those who are not. (I am not but have been a few times on different sized boats)
It’s a beautiful ride and it has all the amenities you would need. Captain Bill is a very nice and easy going guy who makes it comfortable.
If you are considering what to do near Coral Gables or in Coconut Grove, consider this Option A for you or the family.
