This place has come to my rescue when I have needed a colada at any time of the day or night. They’re open 24 hours. They’re like Denny’s except they don’t have that weak office-​coffee brew. They serve coladas, cortaditos, and café con leche out of a little window like any latin establishment in Miami.
The price. Whenever I need a quick cheap meal, voila, this place is my option. If ever I need a media noche, cuban sandwich, or quick breakfast this place is the best option in Sweetwater. A meal just for you is less than $ 10. And if you’re having breakfast with some friends, it’s probably around $ 20. And yes, it’s in Sweetwater so it’s pretty common knowledge that your service will be in Spanish. It’s a fact of life around here and you have to live with it.
Great service, I’m usually just a minute or two at the window and I’ve got my coffee and maybe a pastry. Best of all, it’s open 24 hours. So drop by after your late night partying or if you have to come in at work at the crack of dawn and need a strong dose of coffee.

If you want Latin, plentiful eating at a reasonable price this the place.
Cops hang out here for their Cuban coffee & food. At times may look like Sweetwater’s mini police station.

When I came in to this restaurant it had a bad smell I don’t know if it was just a person eating next to me in the restaurant but It smelled really bad. Food was OK, I got a baby churrasco with rice, tostones and a noodle soup. The soup was a little salty.
At the end I went to the bathroom. It was really nasty, it smelled really bad and it didn’t have toilet paper. I think for a restaurant having this really bad odors is not good for the business, it doesn’t take a lot of work just to have a clean odorless place.

Had El Perico for breakfast with turkey and the house potatoes and it was great. It comes w/​tostada and a café con leche all for $ 8. My bf and I sat the bar and the service was ok other that it’s worth it

I come here atleast once a week for that $ 2.99 breakfast and they dont dissapoint. This is the best value when your in that mood for for eggs, papas tostada and café con leche. The staff is always friendly and they are open 24 hours. Love this place! I still gotta try there lunch and dinner.

they supposed to give 10% discount to FIU students, but when it comes the time to pay they wanted FIU ID from all my guests ! which does not make sence !
I will never go there unless they make some changes to the employees and teach them how to talk and deal with customers !

I always end up here late at night when the cops are sitting outside and the seediness of sweetwater comes out. The ladies behind the counter are wonderful but the food is never great. It is cheap, fast and the area provides for some great people watching, so I’ll be back.

I always regret eating here, the sandwiches are pretty gross and the food is below average, when we walked in they had everyone sitting in the most uncomfortable area of the restaurant, then they started to clean, it was very cold in there and the guy cleaning turned on a huge fan in the isle. I couldn’t wait to leave. I went there because it is the only place that’s open 24 hours a day but I am pretty sure this was my last time there.

Very good portion size and a wide variety. I speak very little spanish and my waitress only spoke spanish. She handled it well and made me feel comfortable trying my spanish out.

Awful service! Treated me like if I was a dog we sat for 9 Mims with no service over hear the woman talking smack. Then we order our food it took 15mins. The most beautiful thing is the woman literally throws the plate like it we are dogs. Like who do you think you are. What type of costumer service they teach these ladies and it was my first time with it oh never brought me my coffee and 15mins into my food she comes with the basket of break n again toss it over to our table like wooooow.
