When we set out to offer our clients stress-​free laser hair removal, we realized we had to do things that were different from the industry norm. Instead of standardized treatments, LCM offered unique, truly personalized service to each of our patients. All treatment is tailored to an individual’s particular skin type and needs to achieve the best possible results. We didn’t stop innovating at just the treatment level; we realized that the amount of treatments necessary to achieve permanent hair reduction were different based on individual characteristics, so we said goodbye to fixed contracts. In doing so, we helped clients avoid big up-​front costs and saved many customers thousands of dollars by charging only per treatment.

Our office also offers other services such as: vein therapy, microdermabrasion, skin rejuvenation, facials, peels, Hydrafacial, lymphatic massage, relaxation massage, cavitation, and body wellness treatments.

History

Established in 2006.

Laser Center of Miami is the leader in the field of laser hair removal. Myriam Barrero, its founder, is a pioneer in her field being a laser technician for over 16 years. She opened her first center for laser hair removal in 1983 transitioning into Vanished Inc. in 1993, & becoming Laser Center of Miami in 2006. All laser technicians who have joined our center are members of the Electrolysis Association of Florida, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal. Our facility is also licensed by the Agency for Health Care and our medical director, Elena Valor, is on-​site.

Business Owner

Raised in Coconut Grove and a true Miamian at heart, Barerro is a pioneer In her field being a laser technician for over 16 years. She opened her first center for laser hair removal in 1983 transitioning into the Laser Center of Miami in 1993. She is a member of the Electrolysis Association of Florida, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal. Myriam B. attended Miami Dade College and Florida International University where she also has a degree in Business.
