This is the place to go! I been coming here for a while and I can’t tell you how much I love it. I absolutely love lights and this place is covered with it. The live music is always lovely… I love Thursdays (Wynwood Walls band is my favorite). The food is delicious! This is a great date place, a place to hangout with friends, and just a great place overall. I been coming here for a while now and I love it more every time.

What a great venue! Really laid back setting with a great indoor area and lovely open patio. Simple décor that sets a great mood. Definitely a great place for a date or to catch up with friends. Couple of draft beers available every night, a really good wine selection and charcuterie options! Didn’t get to try the main courses but the charcuterie was pretty good and the prices were fair. Overall, I would definitely be a regular here if I lived in the area. Great experience though!

I love the whole idea of this place! It’s such a chill laid back location. Love going with friends and just enjoying a few bottles of wine. It’s so basic, yet you can have a very good conversation with no distractions around. I enjoy the open patio area on a Miami breezy night. The chairs are simple, they don’t match and it looks like they basically picked them off the street (reduce, reuse, recycle). The wine selection is exquisite, they have different wines from all over the place and all prices. The food menu is not overwhelming, when I went it was just churrasco and salad. I would recommend this place for a group of friends or an intimate time with your partner. Just to really talk and have a relaxed and chill night on on the outside of Miami.
Parking around here is though as it is Midtown and with the trend of people coming to midtown to hangout it gets harder to find parking. Also, you have to come early or you might not find seating area in the patio.

My favorite place in Miami. You go in and you pick what wine you like that is on the shelves located around the main sitting area (inside). Outside you can enjoy some good food. The place is a little eclectic; all chairs and tables are different and there is good atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are in Miami and want to hang out in a place where the locals frequent.

Monday nights at Lagniappe can be broken down into 5 groups:
1. Single girls coming here to find dates not knowing that every guy here will already BE on a date
2. Guys on dates
3. Girls on date with previously mentioned guy
4. A few random old dudes
5. Jazz band and staff

Small menu. Great taste. From the food to the live music performances by local Miami artists to drink selection, it’s a must stop by location while you’re in Wynwood. If you’re staying in the area, it’s walkable. Otherwise, $ 10 parking for as long as you stay. Open seating outside but the random arrangement of tables and chairs can make it difficult to weave in and out to and fro your table.

This place is yummy, romantic, and low-​key. What more can you ask for?
First things first, parking can be a little tough around here. So can getting a table. I would suggest arriving no later than 8 on Fridays and Saturdays to find both :) There is a small seating area inside, and a large one outside. Patio tables and chairs of all different shapes and sizes along with string lights all mix together to provide a unique and romantic atmosphere.
Inside you can order wine by the glass or by the bottle. Outside there is a fridge stocked with an array of meats and cheeses. Each with a price label attached. After choosing your meats and cheeses, you go to the counter to pay, and they will prepare your cheese and meat plate for you, adding olives, jam, and toasted bread for $ 4.00.
The grilled meats menu is simple. Everything is served with salad and garlic bread. The choices are: Churrasco $ 18, BBQ Chicken $ 14, Mahi-​Mahi $ 15, Salmon $ 16, or veggies $ 14. I’ve only tried the churrasco, which has been delicious each time. The chimichurri sauce is delish. If the churrasco is any indication of how good the other meats will be, then they’ll be very tasty!
At 9pm they have live music playing in the indoor area. I wish they played it outside though, because it’s small in there and uncomfortable for eating the grilled items. Maybe that will change in the future.
The food, wine, and atmosphere is definitely worth coming back for!

I have to say this place is booming now — They’ve updated the menu to include some larger dishes and although $ 18 for a sammich may be a little outrageous — its worth it in the long run. (I guess?) There doesn’t seem to be the issue of not being greeted anymore as they are so busy it almost makes it a conversation starter with those around you — what do we do, have you been here before? It is quite nice.
If I remember correctly there are fans outside now breaking up the heat when there is no movement in the air so good job!
Overall, this place is doing great because they took a great concept, great food and wine mixed it with wonderful customer service and they seem to be adding in listening to constructive criticism. Did I mention the live music?
This place is 5 stars and it will continue to be 5 stars as they have everything we Unilocaler’s love.

Found this place on Unilocal and decided it would make a great spot to surprise my better half with on date night. Luckily Lagniappe did not disappoint.
We parked at a lot right next door for $ 10. There is some street parking around but it is very limited and there are also a lot of tow away zones in the area so we figured that paying the $ 10 for a conveniently located parking lot would be worthwhile. We got there about a minute or two before they opened on a Friday night and were surprised to find some people already waiting by the door. When you first walk in it looks as though you are in a cozy living room that happens to have a bar and several racks of wine. There is a live band that plays in the area adjacent to the front door. It is small so it does tend to get crowded but has a very cozy feel.
We chose our bottle of wine from the rack and then paid for it before heading to the back patio to choose a seat. The live band might only play indoors but out back is where the magic happens here. They have a small fridge where you choose your meats and cheeses and then give them to the lady behind the grill to cut them up for you on a platter that also includes bread and olives with some type of yummy jam. We also ordered the churrasco, which included more bread and a salad. Since we got there early, we had our choice of seats and opted for a small, intimate table towards the back end. There is a wide variety of seating options to choose from ranging from big comfy oversized seats to an old mismatched patio furniture set and anything in between. There are patio lights all over and 2 port-​o-​potties in the back (there are 2 unisex single bathrooms inside too but you can expect that to remain consistently occupied when the crowd comes in, which seemed to start at about 8:30ish). There is another bar in the back but be warned that they only serve beer and wine in the entire establishment, no liquor or mixed drinks available.
They may not have a wide selection of menu options but they sure do a great job with what they do offer. The ambience in the back is beautiful and romantic. The platter was delicious as was the wine and the churrasco, which came with the tastiest chimichurri sauce I have ever had. We LOVED this place and will definitely be back again soon to enjoy the beautiful ambience and delicious food and wine.

Love Lagniappe!!! This has always been one of my favorite spots in mid-​town and I try visit at least once or twice a month.
Pros:
–The atmosphere! The outdoor seating with mis-​matched patio furniture under string lights provides the perfect ambiance for a relaxing evening sipping wine with friends.
–The wine selection is fantastic… true wine lovers will be in heaven here with all of the options from around the world!
–The cheese platters. You pick cheese out of a little refrigerator and they slice it up for you on a platter with warm bread, olives and jam
Cons (they really are very minimal because this place is truly awesome):
–Parking. Parking can definitely be hard to find on busy nights in this area. The surrounding couple of blocks do not feel the safest so I would just be aware of your surroundings when parking too far away.
–I love the live music, but it’s inside which is a very small area that gets very crowded on Friday/​Saturday nights. If you don’t snag one of the few seats you’ll be crammed in standing room.
Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area! You won’t regret it!

After enjoying a good meal with a top notch, always going to have a good time with friend, we decided to go check this place out and see what it had to offer. I’m not going to lie, we were lured in for the live music.
We had to walk a bit to find the place from where we had originally eaten, aanndd, after we went in the wrong direction, followed by a totally unforeseen twisted ankle later — you think we would have seen it coming since we walked by a psychic place right before it happened :/​— huh… Though I’m still not convinced I wasn’t pushed for mild amusement! ;) You know who you are! :P
Not wanting to let that minor setback ruin the rest of the night, I soldiered on! :) My ankle wasn’t hurting too badly and it was only a few more steps away anyway and then we had finally arrived!
As soon as we stepped inside, it was packed like sardines in there! Of course that was exactly where the live music was being played, in a corner with several chairs and couches immediately in the area. So, not having anyplace to exactly sit, we carefully tipped toed our way through the sea of people, me trying not to stumble over anyone’s foot and twist my other ankle. You never realize how uneven a floor is until your ankle hurts. :P
*Just a tip, if you want to listen to the live music, then I suggest you get there early so you can get a seat. Don’t be like us and get there a few hours after it opened, you’ll never find a seat that way. Unless you prefer to stand but with my perdicament, it wasn’t in the cards at the moment.
Not feeling like sweating it out with everyone that was comfortably enjoying the Jazz that was being played, we opted to head outside. It was much too crowded in there but was plenty of seating in the back. Outback was huge, several different lawn tables and chairs scattered throughout the area, none of which looked like they went together. We soon nestled ourselves in a decent spot, out of the way where anyone could have mistakenly bumped into my now injured foot, leave it to me to end up being a klutz, and just relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Considering how much space they have outside, it would have been great if the live music was played out there so everyone could have enjoyed it. That’s the only reason I stopped from giving it 5 stars. Other than that, it was a really nice place with all the lights that hung from the trees, making it a really nice laid back environment to enjoy a few good laughs with some decent company. :)

Arguably one of the coolest place in midtown if not all of Miami. On Wednesday night they have a live band playing French music, Bossa nova, and the occasional blues. The place gets packed.
I really enjoy the miss matched everything! From tables to chairs. The raw walls is fun. The wine selection is pretty good.
Then you go outside to the patio and the mismatch continues in a very cool way. It makes you feel like you’ve left Miami and transported somewhere else.
They have a nice grill selection. I particularly enjoyed the Churrasco.

I’d read lots of great reviews for this place, so a few Mondays ago when the two of us were looking for a laid back place to get some food and wine, my partner happened to suggest Lagniappe and I quickly agreed.
When we went in, we immediately liked the laid back atmosphere and live band that was playing, and when we made our way to the outdoor open air seating area and saw that space, we were even more impressed! We picked out a few cheeses and prosciutto, and for a few dollars, the staff here cut those up and plated them with olives, bread and some jam while we picked out a bottle of wine. We also ordered the churrasco steak with salad and bread to share.
I was very happy with the wine selection here. It’s not what I’d consider huge, but is extensive enough. They have the wines sorted by both the country of origin and style, and offer various price points. By the time we picked out a bottle and paid, both our cheese/​prosciutto plate and steak were ready. I loved the open patio seating area with the modge podge of various types of furniture, chairs and tables, and strings of overhead lights. It was a bit surprising how busy this place was for a Monday night! We had a seat, enjoyed our meals and to be frank, it was nice to be able to eat at our leisure, chat as much as we wanted and not be interrupted by service staff. We didn’t feel rushed, and once we were done with our food and drink and were ready to move on, we simply got up and left. Great concept! We’ll be back again soon!

This place is really nice, great selection of wines from all over the world. The staff is super knowledgeable and incredibly friendly and helpful. Food is also great, can’t beat the selections of cheeses & meats to pair with your wine (s).
I would recommend getting here earlier than later on the weekends as it fills up fast and finding a spot to sit outside becomes difficult. BUT this is a good thing! Great place to be on a weekend evening. I’ve been here for not even a month and have gone here twice and will go more I am sure.

The place has a very fun atmosphere and has that cliché wynwood hipster vibe. This is definitely a place where you go with a group of friends to drink and talk. They have a nice selection of wines and I really enjoy their cheeses and meats.
Buying a cheese platter isn’t very intuitive. You basically choose what meats and cheeses you want to buy and pair. For some (like myself) I found myself a bit lost trying to decide what would go well with what. We asked for some advice from people in the line and made a couple decisions. You really can’t go wrong so don’t overthink it.
One of my friends got the salmon and she enjoyed it very much.

This is a perfect place to come for both a date or with a group of friends/​family! This is my go to spot when I have guests in town or if I would like a fun chill night!
Inside they have some couches and chairs and on a few different nights, they have live music. The outside has tons of old patio furniture to hang out. There are so many trees and lights, such an eclectic place.
You can buy a bottle of wine to share, glasses of wine, or beer. They have a pretty extensive selection. Also, they have cheese and meat plates! It’s seriously amazing! At times I feel like I’m in Italy, just in own back yard

When last Friday some of my friends wanted to do a late happy hour they suggested Lagniappe; I have never been there but heard rave reviews from other friends and Unilocal and this was a location I had bookmarked.
So we met here around 10:00 pm; this place is so unassuming and with no flash that if you drove by during the day, you wouldn’t know it was there; however since they light up the outside at night its easy to know where it is.
From the outside it looks like just any regular building, but that’s part of its charm and what makes it such a popular place. Once you walk inside you came into a medium sized lounge where a different band plays every night. On the right side you have two coolers (one containing bottles of beer and the other bottles of wine). You pretty much hose what bottle you want and then pay for it at the bar. The inside gets pretty packed, especially when there is a band playing as there was this past Friday night.
Once you got past the bar and bathroom down a hallway, you go out and are introduced to a huge outdoor patio area where you can sit and enjoy your wine or beer… be warned, this area gets packed as well so your best bet is to hover around and wait until someone leaves.
Another unique charm of this place is that in the outside area, they have grills set up where you can order anything from churrasco to chicken and it will be prepared to order for you. Another thing the outdoor area has is another freezer/​cooler, which contain all types of meats and cheeses. You simply choose the mix you want (no limit as it is charged by the pound) and the staff will go ahead and prepare you the meat and cheese plate with bread and spreads.
The prices are reasonable and the vibe is very laid-​back. Highly recommended.

Do you know what a Lagniappe is?
It’s a small gift bestowed upon someone as a token of thanks. Consider, for example, you’re in a retail store like Zara and as you check out with your $ 300 of new threads, they give you a scarf for free. It’s the complimentary amuse bouche from the chef during dinner. Perhaps even the party favor gift at a dinner party.
In short, it’s a lovely concept with a rich history (specifically tied to New Orleans) and a fun as hell word (pronounced lan-​yap). It’s also the standout nightlife hangout in Miami right now for casual conversation and lots of wine.
Prices are more than reasonable and the offerings rotate regularly. Get to know your bartender or at least check out the staff picks. If you’re not into wine, don’t fret. There’s more than enough craft beer to satisfy your thirsty curiosity.
The staff does a great job of keeping the large outdoor patio clean. Just beware — the place fills up fast even with the many tables so arrive early especially if you have a big group.
The food is actually really good and is well priced. Charcuterie for days, my friends!
Bottom line: Lagniappe is a no brainer especially for a big group or visitors.

This. Place. Is. Awesome.
Looking for a cool, low key place to unwind with a bottle of wine in a cozy courtyard with strong lights and patio furniture? Well, look no further. This is it.
Apparently it’s Miami’s worst kept secret because on a Saturday night it was packed. There was barely any room to move at all, inside and out.
In expensive wine, low key atmosphere, and delicious tapas is the perfect combination for a great night. There was live music inside with some couches. The place was completely full to capacity (I would think). The outside seating has everyone packed like sardines. I’m not kidding. Once you’re seated at a table (which is like finding a needle in a haystack for find an open table) it nearly impossible to make your way back out. Get comfortable, or else you’ll have to face the maze of people blocking a path to make your way back to the bar.
Although there was quite the crowd, I definitely look forward to trying this place again. Such a chill and fun environment to meet up with friends and have good conversation over wine or beer.
I’ll try for a weeknight, or earlier in the evening on a weekend. I’m also interested to try out their food next time.

I came about this place by accident. I was suppose to meet my friends at Nikki beach for drinks but at last minute they told me to come to this place.
I was getting impatient since I was already in Miami beach trying to find parking. When I got there it was a little difficult trying to find parking but after 10 min of looking we found street parking a block away (I suggest you pay for parking on the mobile app).
As soon as I walked in the door I was clouded by a wonderful young and chill atmosphere. There was live music playing and it was packed but you can see everyone having a good time. When I walked outside to find friends I really liked the décor of the place. It had a really chill vibe and it had good music but it wasn’t overbearing that you can’t have a conversation with your friends.
Since it was a group of 5 we decided to purchase a couple of bottles of wine. The one I purchased for the table was a red wine and it was decent and at a price tag of $ 30 dollars I didn’t think it was overly expensive. We also got a ham and cheese plate which was really good. Also if you opt out for just getting a cup of wine it’s usually $ 10 dollars and they generously fill your cup.
I will have to go back and try the steak they make. Usually I come to this place after dinner so I haven’t had the opportunity to try the food here but I’ve heard it’s good and it looked very appetizing. The only thing that I didn’t like was that there was a lot of people smoking, being a non-​smoker this can be bothersome when you are trying to enjoy your bottle of wine outside. But regardless it’s a great place to relax and hangout with friends.

Mismatched couches and tables that came from who knows where; romantic lighting and trees that reminds you of a schnazzy intimate Mad Hatter tea party. Lagniappe is where it’s at. Come in, take a gander around, pick your wine, then go pick your seats. Indoors or outdoors, they are both cozy and welcoming. Bring your friends. Bring a date. It’ll be a good night over a bottle of vino.
And while you are sipping your wine, taking in the night, if you need something to munch on, fear not. Lagniappe has you covered with barbecue or cheese. The Churrasco will pair well with the red wine you are drinking, or go with a Malbec. They have other options from: Mahi or Salmon, Chipotle BBQ Chicken, Veggie Skewers or Filet Mignon. The cheese and bread also makes a table feel completely whole and happy. And I’ve only heard good things of their array of cheeses.

My brother in law has been in love with Lagniappe for the past year, always raving about it! We finally went; pictures nor words can describe this unique place!
They open at 7pm and close at 2am everyday! Yes, I wrote that correctly, and believe it or not they have a good turn out on non outing nights like a Sunday! We arrived to find a packed house at 9pm Sunday night. The location is literally a house with an extra large patio. The inside has a small stage for live music and some sofas and chairs. This is also where you pick your wine and/​or beer. Once you have selected your beverage you can transition to the patio. Outside is where you can order (build your own) cheese and meat platers or order from the grill. I have to say, the idea of going to the fridge and being able to pick each individual item for your plater is a lovely idea! You only get what you like, so there is no waste of food!
Now on to design, the only thought that came to my head while there was garage sale! And I say that in a good way. The whole place is a mix of different tables, chairs, and sofas. It has a very cute homey feel, like if you were hanging out in your friends backyard. There are no waiters and you can’t leave a tab open, so you have to swipe your card for more drinks or food.
Overall the place is a great location to relax and hang out with friends. I really love that people of all ages can come out and feel welcomed.

Lagniappe was a really cool bar that exceeded my expectations! I would definitely recommend this bar for dates, couples or groups. Not your typical Miami scene (in a good way!)
Things I loved:
The ambiance is great. There is an indoor area that looks like someone’s old, comfy living room complete with couches, rugs, coffee tables and arm chairs. The paved, outdoor area is a MASSIVE. There is some greenery, tree lights and lots of mix-​matched tables and chairs. Very cool ambiance.
Live music! There was a 3-​person band inside playing jazz/​funk. Love live music.
Buy bottles of wine (or glasses of wine or bottles of beer) — there was a large selection of wine to buy by the bottle. Prices were from $ 25-​$ 90. You pick your own bottle and take it with you to wherever you are sitting.
This would be a great place to bring a group because of the ample seating and the decent noise level (doesn’t get too loud :)
Things to note: parking can be a pain, and I would show up on the earlier side to be guaranteed a table. No table service. Order everything at the counter. Didn’t try the food, but the options were limited.

I went to Lagniappe to meet some friends I did not know what to expect but I was complete surprise at how pleasant this place was. At first I was skeptical to go because the parking was impossible to find. We were going around and around for like 20 to 30 minutes trying to find parking. Finally a car left on the street parking on the right side of the place and we were very happy to finally found parking. Going in I immediately like the environment, it was full but you can still have a conversation. There was music playing in the background and there selection of wines through the entire place, wines from italy, france, chile, argentina to name a few. I was very impressed you could go to the bar and ask for a glass of wine or buy the bottle. I bought a bottle of malbec that was $ 30 instead of buying a couple of glasses of $ 10 -$ 12. Since we were in a group we had 3 bottles of wine and we enjoyed all of them. They are all about the same price $ 28– $ 30 a bottle. After buying a bottle we went to a table in the patio where our friends were sitting. The patio décor was beautiful with twinkling lights and plants, tables to sit with comfortable chairs and in the patio there was a place to buy food. They had cheese platters and churrasco and bbq. We had a fun night just drinking wine and talking with cheese and jam and serrano ham.
I loved everything about lagniappe, from the décor, to the collection of wine and the patio and the bbq. If you are looking for a place that you can relax, enjoy a glass of wine and hang out with friends this is the place! The only con I see is that the parking is a nightmare. However, it is totally worth it, the wine selection is great and you can have a nice wine for without spending an arm and a leg.

Depending on your goal for your evening this place could be fantastic or awful. We came for after dinner wine and music and we hit the jackpot! It’s very laid back and casual. If you’re looking for a quiet dinner… this is not the place. I love it!

Solid. There’s something incredible about a spot that offers only a few options on the menu, and that grills the food freshly. I opted for the salad and garlic bread only, but tasted a bite of the grilled veggies. The salad is a little oily, but it’s okay because all the lettuce and tomatoes are deliciously shining through. The bread is about the best thing I’ve ever tasted, and they have a nice selection of freshly cut cheeses for you to build your own plates (to which they add warm, perfectly textures bread and olives to). The wine selection is very good — my favorites were the reds — Tempranillo and Pinot Noir. But the temperatures of the wines could be a little cooler, not sure if there’s a cellar or fridge for that. The music here is great, lots of wonderful musicians in the local community. Definitely check this place out if you’re in Miami!

Great concept… I like picking out your wine and at reasonable prices… But the food was only OK and the service was pretty rude.
We ordered oysters Rockefeller and gumbo to start and then a steak and mahi mahi as our mains… we had already paid and asked if we could stagger the order and have the oysters and gumbo first… it was like they’d never been asked that before, and they were very annoyed. the woman at the counter was repeatedly rude, but thankfully the chefs working the grill were much more accommodating.
If I were to come back, i’d probably come with a larger group and stick to wine and cheese.

We go here whenever I am in Miami. Its a great place to hear music, see people, and drink good wine outdoors. Bottles are good and affordable, nothing to expensive but not cheap stuff. Every time I have been there it has been super crowded though. Its a bit of a hassle walking through the place because it is so crowded and sometimes finding chairs and tables can be a bit difficult. Maybe that is just part of the charm.
Finding a parking spot near the place can be a bit challenging though. Id recommend taking an Über or a cab. That also means you can drink more wine!
Not 5 stars because the experience is always a bit stressful, but always enjoyable in the end.

Pull up to a an unassuming house and you’ll be greeted by a relaxed living room that showcases live bands and a small bar with their wine offerings. Must say I was pleased with the wine offerings– they had a South African white that I recommend (Bottle of wine runs about 36 $ which is not bad at all.)
Outside youll find a smaller bar and a food station. Had a vegan person in our group and I was happy to see a grilled veggie platter that could accommodate that (tasty as well.)
The backyard of this house has PLENTY of seating but on a crowded night expect to play a bit of the parking game where you wait to see who leaves so you can get their spot. Also, on a busy night it seems the staff cannot keep up with turning over tables and cleaning used trays, bottles, and glasses. I would like to see a bit more of that.
Décor is chabby chic with palms all over the place and string lights. Its a chill atmosphere. Crowd is young to mid-​age.
Id come back here but may be on a less crowded night– the wine and snacks won me over. Def recommend for a relaxed date (date has to be open to a more hipster feel though! dont bring high maintenance people here) or to grab drinks with friends.

Packed on a rainy Sunday night, we walked into Lagniappe as jazz music was playing. While I wanted to enjoy the music inside, there just wasn’t enough room. But, it was one of those rare, cool Miami nights which calls for sitting outside under dreamy twinkle lights and enjoying a few bottles of wine with your friends. The wine selection was great and the service was quick, especially considering how many people were in there. The food was amazing! We shared a meat and cheese plate with olives, bread, and jam that really hit the spot. I also tried the churrasco that my friend ordered. DELICIOUS. The only downside was that it started to rain when our food was ready. There was no dry spot to sit so we had to awkwardly eat at the order counter. Other than that, my experience was wonderful and I can not wait to go back.
Also, parking wasn’t a problem at all this particular night. There is a lot one street over and it was pretty empty.

The word ‘lagniappe’ means something given as a bonus or gift, which is perfectly applicable for this New Orleans style wine bar situated in Midtown Miami. You can come for the nightly live music or you can come for the wine and delicious barbecue. I come for all of the above.
Lagniappe is easily one of my favorite bars in Miami. With the cozy, eclectic feel, you will be transported to the French Quarter with your first step inside. Open the door and you will be greeted with bustling jazz music, the sound of laughter, and the hums of great conversation. The atmosphere is comforting and reminiscent of a simpler time.
The first thing you should do is order a churrasco. Get it medium rare and grab a drink while it cooks. Their wine selection is superb. They sell wine by the glass or by the bottle and have plenty of craft beers on tap. After getting a drink, grab your food, and grab a comfy seat beneath the romantic lights. The churrasco here is my favorite in town. Your meal comes on a paper plate with the most delicious Cuban garlic bread and spring salad. You will be amazed because even though your knife is plastic, it will cut through the steak like butter. That is the difference between Lagniappe’s grass fed steak and any other. It is to die for. They also offer meat and cheese plates, so make sure you come on an empty stomach!
I can go on and on about how incredible Lagniappe is, how much fun I have there, and how great the service is, but my best advice is to head there and experience it for yourself. It gives you another perspective of Miami, away from the crazy South Beach scene and the crazier tourists. Lagniappe celebrates the beauty of simplicity and you need to go!

Perfect for when you don’t know what else to do!
Lagniappe is a great spot for a date, late night food, a reunion, a family night, a tinder match, a breakup, a makeup, a goodbye, and to make new friends.
I love grabbing a glass of wine in the front, listening to some Jazz and making my way to the back patio with some friends and a fat cheese platter. The Chorizo is also delicious.
Staff is incredibly nice for a place that sees such high traffic. Definitly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already done so!

Want to escape the craziness and escape for a couple hours? Lagniappe is the place.
There are two sides to Lagniappe. Inside, you can listen to some fantastic live jazz music. Outside, you can sit under lights with 10 of your friends and just talk away. It’s a great spot to bring games! We brought Cards Against Humanity and it was great.
They’re wine and beer selection is not ginormous, but their selection is good. You shouldn’t have a problem finding something you really enjoy.
Ah, the meat and cheese plate. The best $ 30 I ever spent! Everything is fresh, and the plate comes with a pile of crispy toast, jam and olives. Would highly recommend!
Overall, Lagniappe is amazing. Whether you are there to listen to music or talk for hours, this is the place to go.

Great wine bar in Midtown. I heard good things about Lagniappe and was pleased to experience it myself this past Saturday. Tried quite a few wines with a larger group and started with a cheese and meat plate. decent pricing after splitting with several others. The meats were delicious and cheeses paired perfectly with the wines we selected (make sure to bring someone who knows their pairings). We continued drinking in the charming outdoor setting (a somewhat eccentric collection of lawn chairs and patio furniture abound) and eventually all ordered the churrasco for dinner. For $ 15, this churrasco was as good or better as some of the steaks I’ve had in pricier establishments.
As other reviewers have said, the dirt/​gravel is an issue. my brand new phone slipped out of my hands and completely cracked, which ruined my night. So be careful with your tech and wear comfortable shoes. The experience can also be compromised if it’s raining due to the outdoor seating. So overall, there are a few factors that have to be in place for you to have a pristine time at Lagniappe, which is why I’m not giving that final star.

My friend Russ celebrated his birthday at Lagnaippe on Friday. He had a large turnout. 50 + party people. ;) I think this was a perfect place to accommodate a large group such as ours. The outdoor patio is very unique with its eclectic chairs and sofas in the midst of trees and twinkling white lights.
The only area of opportunity for this restaurant I would say is that some outdoor fans and/​or patio misters could be added to make it more comfortable. It did get a little hot due to it being a Miami summer night.
We ordered the cheese and meats platter. It had a nice array of cheeses, meats along with french bread. It also had an apricot compote that was a nice complement to the cheese. As an entrée, I ordered the churrasco on the grill.
Everything was really tasty and I loved that the meat is grass fed.
They have a large assortment of wines to choose from. We had a malbec that was very smooth. Once we were done with dinner we moved inside to enjoy the live music. The band was very upbeat and kept everyone very entertained.
Overall the experience was a great one and I will return.

Whenever I’m in the mood for a relaxed, yet fun, night in Miami, I always end up at Lagniappe. This charming New Orleans style wine house is located in the intersection of Midtown, Wynnwood and the Design District, and it offers not only great live music, but also a good selection of cheese, beer and food made on the grill.
The two things that I love the most about Lagniappe are its chill vibe, which makes you feel like you are right at home, and the fact that it is perfect for both date night and a fun night with friends… For a romantic night, I recommend sitting in the living room area, where you can enjoy a glass of wine while listening to a live jazz band playing just a few steps away (my favorite happens to be The French Horn, who usually plays on Friday nights). If you are hanging out with friends and want to have drinks and conversastion, no problem! There’s always a place to sit in their huge backyard area, with its vintage lawn patio furniture under the garden lights.
Another great thing about Lagniappe is that its pretty affordable! Beers start at just $ 5, wine by the glass start at $ 7, and if you are hungry, make sure to try their grill options for under $ 15 (the fillet mignon and corn bread are the best!). If you are looking for table service or a more robust meal, I would suggest starting the night at Lagniappe for some wine and music, and then hopping to Gigi down the road for food, which opens late and also never disappoints! (more on Gigi in an upcoming post).

Went here with a couple of friends on a Saturday night. The place was overrun with people– I remember walking into the bar section like ‘oh my gosh’ people everywhere. It’s a shame that the indoor portion with the bar is so small. The bar was surprisingly quick with a pretty attractive staff. Outdoor seating was a shabby chic collection of patio furniture. Very eclectic. I decided on having the special that evening: White Port cocktail. It was refreshing. The overall atmosphere was charming.
I hate to leave such a low rating but they need to make some improvements:
They need to place some citronella candles or some pest control if they’re going to have the majority of the seating outdoors. Also need a paved or stone path outside as well. My shoes looked like they’d been through a war by the time I got home. That may be why I prefer the patioed Broken Shaker to this.

My visit to Lagniappe has been a LONG time coming. I’ve had this place bookmarked since it first opened and finally made it this past weekend. I did a lot of Unilocal research so that I kind of knew what to expect. Main takeaways: the music is no longer outside, parking can be difficult, and you might have to fight to get a table where you want it.
Unfortunately, there was a downpour the night we went which meant seating was even more scarce. By 8 pm when we arrived, the inside was completely full with people that were clearly not going to move for awhile. No worries though, people were winding down outside (thankfully there is a covered patio) and we stalked one table for about five minutes and quickly grabbed seats for four of us.
For eats, we got two plates of churrasco and some brie from a refrigerator of dreams (yes, my dreams consist of a wide array of properly chilled cheese and meats for the taking). Let’s start with the churrasco. This piece of meat was so tender a plastic fork was enough to cut it. I was even with an Argentine that said it was one of the best he has ever had. It came with salad and some corn bread for $ 14 which we all agreed was a good deal. The brie was delicious, as was the jam that came with it. After loving that, we decided we had to try dessert of which there was only one option, the chocolate royale. Perfect to share between two, it was a rich, mousse-​like cake that was a great ending to our meal.
Of course, there is wine and we enjoyed a nice bottle of Merlot. There is also draft beer and glasses of wine available outside which is nice for refills.
I do wish the music was still outside so more people can hear it. Fabi was playing on this particular night so we drifted inside once we were done with our food to listen to him and his band play for a little bit. He was awesome and really wish we could’ve sat down to listen some more. Another downside? There is only one bathroom which was not working particularly well on this night.
Overall, Lagniappe lived up to my expectations. The food and wine is worth coming back for. Add in the music and a very cool atmosphere, I look forward to returning when the rain isn’t a factor.

Si te provoca picar o comer, tienen algunos platos y variedad de embutidos, iSi que lo saben servir! Con pan tostadito, aceitunas y una mágica mermelada que te va a encantar.
No tienes que esperar para entrar, te puedes vestir como te da la gana, si gustas ir playero o si después vas a una disco y estas mas elegante, como gustes.
Es super espacioso, si vas con un grupo grande puedes llegar temprano y agarrar cuantas mesas y sillas desees sin inconvenientes.
Música en vivo en la parte de adentro, en el patio algo mas relajado para quienes quieren charlar.
Los chicos de la caja siempre amables, dispuestos a recomendarte un vino o lo que sea! Muy buena atención.
No cambio este lugar, vivo en Kendall y sin duda alguna es mi primera opción para reunirme con los míos.
PD: Lo único que mejoraría de este lugar es el parking, algo deberían de inventar.
